My vote was on Paul at the end of yesterDay here: <font style="font-size: 12px;"> <font style="font-size: 12px;">Errmmm...
Unvote: KidV
Vote: Ed
<font style="font-size: 12px;">Now that Idle seems a bit more safe...
Unvote: Ed
Vote: KidV So basically you voted Ed to save Idle and not because you thought he was scum? If you had any other reasons you don't seem to have shared them with the rest of us. If you did think he was scum then fair enough but that doesn't seem to be the case. Probably too late to make much difference but this is the scummiest thing I've seen so far. vote PaulthemuthaSo for yesterDay's reasons and because Buff's analysis has convinced me further. Vote Paul

Pure gut on this so far... he quickly jumped on the vote Paul thing for thinking out loud.... His vote was right in Day 1 was correct. And lastly and my most thin assumption. He wasn't very active in the night one thread. OK this is VERY thin and I know I didn't post much either but so far none of us have much to go on so I shall leave it at this .
You caught me on a day when I am feeling a bit lenient. I should kill you, I really almost did kill you, but this is your first game. Since it is your first game, you get a one time pass. You get 50% of the votes needed to start the countdown as a penalty. Next time ANYONE edits, for ANY reason they are dead. (Unless death is their goal, in which case I am willing to get...creative) I am not as nice as this normally. 6 penalty votes for moody
Glad to still be in the game. Now do I have to start a don't vote for me campaign or just try to get someone else more votes. This could be awkward..... although I don't think Paul is scum and his mistake was genuine. Purely to save my own skin I may have to change my vote. I know my theory on FCOD is very thin so I could see that I would really have trouble convincing people to vote that way. Oh well on with the day and let's see how things develop

Well.... I think that now would be a good time to claim... I am vanilla town... so no big loss for town if you do mislynch me... and it would save Moody from the mod's wrath... which is good if he is town and has a power... and bad if he is scum.

This whole situation is similar to the recent events on alpha centuari.... NAF got himself 5 penalty votes for editting... and it was enough to make him the lynch candidate after an extremely late mason claim.... turned out he was scum also...

I agree Hawkeye... but I would rather lose a vt to a mislynch than a town power role... I would even rather lose a VT to a mislynch than out a town power role.... Plus, my mislynch will give you some evidence to go off of based on who voted for me and who I voted for... Not that who I voted for means anything since I have no real helpful knowledge the rest of you don't. Still... I am the best candidate for lynch regardless of how you look at it.

Still... I am the best candidate for lynch regardless of how you look at it. What? What? What? What happened to find and lynch scum?? How would you think a mis-lynch would be the best thing? Okay, let's say Moody is a real valuable Town power role... that would not make a mis-lynch of you "the best". I just don't like this way of thinking - we got Moody at 6 votes and you at 5 (?) - but there is still so many other players in this game to be lunched - we don't need to just pick a candidate from you and Moody! I say we all vote for the person must scummy - and that we try to lynch scum toDay.

Then I would consider him and myself to be the only two lynch candidates.... feel free to nominate whomever else you find scummy.... I nominate you

It seems strange that at the end of yesterDay, Paul had a firm grip on what a body count would look like if idle's power led to his own death. What's also strange is that total lost clearly knew as well, having already had that conversation with Paul above. So why are you so sure that idle chose to vig and that this is what happened in the Night? I'm not saying it didn't - but you seem to believe that the fact that I didn't spot this right on and went "aha, Idle must have self-combusted" makes me scum. I really don't agree! I know my logic stinks at times and that I act in haste a lot - but this time I really can't see why you would think that just because I didn't have the same hypothesis as you is scummy. It not even that I can see your hypothesis, or that I don't agree with it - you saying that because I didn't make the connection after the Night - that I'm scummy to you. Arrggh, what ever. My vote was stolen and that made me focus on that and not really the reasons behind the dead bodies. That's just me - I never really speculate on dead bodies anyway. Fint the warm bodies more fun to look at

Claiming is reasonable if (a) you have some sort of power role and (b) you are under threat of a lynch. Six votes is a significant chunk; it means there is a total of 21 votes available today (fifteen living able-to-vote players and six penalty votes on you) and you have nearly one third of them.
We have about another 4 days this Day, so there's plenty of time at the moment, but think about claiming if you get say three more votes, and in any case if you still lead in the vote in two days time.

In general, players win with their team. So a claim should be made with an eye to what helps your team. For a Townsperson, their team's biggest need is accurate information. So, if you are Town, I'd tell the truth, even if it won't help you avoid lynching. If you do, then you've done the best you can by your team. For a typical scum member, your aim should be to survive if possible, and sow confusion among the Townspeople to reduce the chance of them catching your teammates. For third party players (like Idle Thoughts was) you pretty much have to live to the end to win, so your goal is to survive to the end. A third party player can say anything at all in this situation.

Thanks for the info I shall hold off claiming for a while then. Another some might think stupid question..... does a claim have to be truthful ?? or are we all here to save our own skins ?? well if your town aligned then no you should not lie. Rule number 1: lynch all liars. scum and PFK's that have seperate wincon's tend to lie and stuff. Remember as town your part of a team, so you have to play as a team, and put all of the players with the town wincon's best interests to heart. Play pro-town basically. For example a guy in a game on FB, tried to claim he was vanilla, but then latter he tried to counter claim he was the doc, it did not fly and we lynched him, luckly he was scum, on the other hand in another game on FB this other guy tried to say he was a mason, hoping they would clue in he was the cop, and go along with it, but instead they said "liar!" and had there one character who was kinda a bomb, take herself and him out. So another words...Nope you probably should not lie! cause other wise if and when it comes out, we probably won't believe you.

I'm not.
I just don't like catching crap for saying that me being lynched isn't the worst possibility for town and then have other people turn around and only examine the people on the lynching block... the only reason he is there is because he editted... So I'm a little suspicious of anyone who jumps at the opportunity to lynch him.
