I had my celebrating post so here's a griping post to even it out. I'm living in my camper while the floor refinishing guys try to do it right this time. Grrrr. I've been living like a refuge for a month now with all of my stuff in the basement or garage. After much negotiation they are coming back to try again tomorrow. At least seven more days camping in the driveway, bleh. I'm sure my neighbors hate me.

Since you're camping and all, it sounds like the perfect time to go skinny dipping at your favorite swimming hole, aka your neighbor's pool.

We chose a hot tub instead and probably use it more often. As far as skinny dipping, my neighbors are cool. Very strange for the midwest.

Humph.
I woke up this morning, as one does.
When I put my glasses on, I was confronted with blurred vision in my right eye. "Oh," thought I "the lens is dirty."
It may well be dirty. Wherever it is. Where it is not is in the frame of my glasses. Neither is it on the table the glasses rested on overnight.
I'm operating on an old pair, which are now at least 3 years old, and no longer adequate for said right eye. This is a recipe for eyestrain and headaches.
I'd go to my opticians, but today is a Bank Holiday so they are shut. Guess I'll have to wait until Wednesday.
Humph.

I was working away and the lens just dropped out of the frame and bounced under my desk. Turns out the frame had a faulty screw in place, and that had fallen out too. I was able to find the lens (but not the screw) and get through the day, but it was frustrating. Hope you got your eyes fixed and everything is better.

The office is closed until Tuesday (which is actually the first working day in most of the UK). I could have gone to the main office, but that's over an hour's journey away, and I can cope with the old specs - which have a more comfortable frame anyway. (I've had the frame since 2004, I think.)

In the new "post your record" aspect of the profiles here, the highest number you can enter for losses is 30. I know have 31 losses to go with my 19 wins.
