Due to work and other stuff, I haven't written color for the lynch and I don't have time to do so now. I figured that you'd all rather have the lynch info now than wait until later. Sorry!
Nanook (aka Switch), Town Redirector is dead.

Night Four will end on Monday, June 1 at 3:00pm Eastern, or whenever all Night actions have been submitted, whichever comes first.
If you want spoilers, PM me.

Nope, that's not good. A redirector is switching someone target right? If the redirect was also a Night action like the tracking, then a delay kill targeted at Night makes more sense than a Day kill I think.

Well... a swing vote is actually when the vote count "swings" from one player being in the lead to another player being in the lead. I suddenly find myself wishing I hadn't voted for Nanook. I think I have fallen for scum misdirection once again

So... I did my cooling off periode and at least this time we got one dead that makes sense: Nanook (our lynch candidate).
How we deal with Pleo from now on I have no idea - but I stick with my theory that voting for him is not good.

Story, did you say you were compulsive or voluntary?

Sorry I didn't get back in time. Story, did you say you were compulsive or voluntary? "I'm what they call a "Compulsory Vig," and I didn't know what that was either. But I asked my girlfriend Penny (we totally had sex), and she says it means I just can't help myself; I have to kill someone every Night. That sounds right."Sorry - but I thought this part of the claim was SO fun! It's all here: www.idlemafia.com/index.cgi?board=threeclan&action=display&thread=950&page=2#47824

I dunno why I can't see that when I post things... I've pretty much given up on trying to skew my behavior so people don't think I'm scummy when I play town. It hasn't worked in any of the games I have played in.

Ugh. Sorry I missed the end of the Day, people. I think when this is over I need to take a Mafia-break, at least for a little while, until I can commit to a more consistent participation schedule.
Anyway, I have to attack someone toNight. I am contemplating targeting Pleonast again, so as to avoid the risk of killing another Townie, but now we are definitively slipping behind in this game; we might need to consider taking a risk. Thoughts regarding a potential target are certainly welcome, but I will not commit to a specific target in public.

This sucks. I'm too tired right now to do a Day 4 review, however on one note Total Lost wrote this:
Do you have some kind of a vote restriction TL that states you have to attack/smudge me in every other post? It's not that I don't like the attention, but it's getting a little old.

It was not an attack nor a smudge - and I'm sorry if that was how you read it.

Day Four Votes Nanook (6) - NAF1138, Paul, MHaye, Total Lost, Kat, Roosh NAF1138 (3) - Pleonast, Natlaw, Nanook MHaye (2) - Pollux, Inner Stickler Kat! (1) - KidVermicious
No vote: Storyteller, BillMc (away), sinjin (blocked vote for paul).
FCOD, your end vote count has Roosh voting both Kat! and Nanook.
14 players alive, so probably 10/4 town/scum (maybe 10/3/recruit). 1) Keep vig killing until LyLo D6 - 5/4 2) Once kill, once targeting Pleonast gives LyLo D6 - 6/4 3) Only targeting Pleonast gives LyLo D7 - 5/4
That assume no others kills besides lynch/vig/scum kill (and not killing scum). We didn't have a dusk kill, so if those were delayed scum kills from the previous Night that seems reasonable. If they were linked to Pleonast, we could get extra kills. I interpret FCOD's comment as not due to the lynch, but they maybe could be related to the vig attempts?
So not vigging at all gives should give an extra Day, but vigging a scum would do that as well of course.
As for who: I think the voters for NAF1138 or NAF himself since he was in the lynch lead himself before Nanook got the votes in the end. Inner Stickler can investigate without killing though (if he doesn't get killed himself), so you could pick a target to vig with more information later.

I guess the question is, do we want Story killing in the unconfirmed pool right now, at all? Nevermind that I'm in there , what are the odds of killing scum/vanilla vs killing unclaimed powe roles?

I personally prefer the option to play it safe and go for Pleo. Just because we still have a possible doctor out there, and who knows what other roles. Unless you've got a strong instinct on who you think is scum, Story.... But if we kill a townie w/o giving them a chance to explain their power roles or their actions if they had any, it really hurts. The Nanook lynch sucks in the sense of getting information- as if he was there, he could have given maybe some explainations of his actions of things he'd been doing so we could know what's going on. Right now we still are left in the dark about that sort of information and it sucks. That's just my thought at this stage of the game.

Killed a Nanook w/o giving him a chance to explain his power role...... And surprisingly enough most of you Nanook voters are on my suspicion list. But wait, scum would never pile on like that. Right. Town, look at: NAF, Kat, Paul, TL and Roosh. There's at least two scum in that group as far as I'm concerned probably more.

Combing through the last four Days, everything keeps coming back around to that group in one way or another. Frankly, I plan to kill one of them in a half hour. I am pretty sure I know which, but I am worried about the danger of killing a vital power role. Well, fuck it, what happens, happens.

Just use random.org. Then if you kill the Doctor or something you can blame it on the atmospheric noise.
