Poliel's pustulent pustules, why? It's the same six votes that have been there for three days.

(I think Ramesh said the killers get no notification at all. Either him or Stay-Puft.) Stay Puft initially said he had asked the Mods. When he revealed his answer, I asked the mods and got the same answer

ok, a serious no b.s. question. if a killer fires at at someone and it goes elsewhere we know that it was redirected, right? if a killer fires at the same someone and then is redirected to that same target what would be the effect? would the killer get notification that they had been "redirected" to their original target? or would the target just end up dead? no notifications of anything. Just either a dead body or not. And no indication of which one you killed

Zedd said he was redirected to Skellington, Batboy. Yes, mulebreath. So if you believe Zedd was redirected to Skellington, then that lends to the argument that Zedd is town. But why would scum redirect an investigation rather than redirect a kill? So 3rd party redirect seems more likely. couldn't Stay Puft have been redirected when he died?

From N2 - we know that puft's kill was redirected to me - we know that my investigation of buddy was not redirected So investigations were not redirected, but a kill was. Gir and Galadriel performed a night action that was redirected to me. It wasn't an investigation, unlikely it was a protection. Possibly they tried to kill someone else and were redirected. Point one means that someone protected you. Zedd claimed investigator. Maniac claimed to have made you unblockable/unredirectable. Except Columbo wasn't redirected nor was the jail power so a mass redirect I consider out now. That means no supporting evidence of Maniac's claimed power. This also leaves three redirects - is there any reason Gir! and Galadriel shouldn't have claimed their targets by now (jail is a problem of course) to clear up this mess? It leaves those two and Rorschach as possible protectors. It could scum ones with no mass redirect I don't think that likely. Is one of the others a scum killer or blocker (with maniac preventing that truthful)? The scum killer could also have been foiled by the jail or Columbo's block. Anyway I keep running around in circles and I wait for at least target claims from Gir!/Galadriel to use this information further (which means Tomorrow). I think I want more results from Zedd as well and I still think not-a-treat investigation is better. MeekoPaul's idea got a bit more interesting as as I understand it he claims a semi-self-confirming town power now? I don't sure what makes him a better target rather than any other unclaimed (for the record the mystery vote was one him Yesterday).

couldn't Stay Puft have been redirected when he died? The masons claimed to have seen none (but if Zedd truthful what are the odds of a untrackable redirection power? Lower I would say).

I've been reading, I just can't remember the numbers and as I've spent much of the evening raking through Day2 and pondering the votes there I am struggling to do the same toDay. Someone earlier asked about the vote-boosting and it's been bugging me. As for you...I don't think you are scum but from what Death of Rats and Paulwhoisameeko are not saying I'm wondering if you are a third party of some sort. I'd really like some more information on your role or alignment. I wonder if there is mileage (if everyone else agrees) in you being asked to investigate/read one specific person and then have Bill McBatman not tell us whether he is investigating you or someone else. That approach could generate some good results and means that if there is a redirector then they might be circumvented. As for who I'm going to vote for...heck if I know. The masons look dodgy as all get-out but I could buy that they were bumbling around in a misguided effort to help. I do want to know why KatGir! and Total Galadriel were visiting Bill McBatman though. Absent any further information my vote is going to rest on one of those two. I'm going to leave it til tomorrow though as it's bedtime and I want to pull out some proper information on each.

Also we haven't seen the mystery vote Today so it could still show up on the next count.
For my vote I'm going to fall back on the vote record so far: Day One: still depends on the unknown alignment of Iskaral. There would be some motivation for scum to keep a compulsive vigilante alive (especially with the redirect of him) although Buddy voted him.
The runner ups at Day One end: Iskaral: Skellington [308], Nakor [313], Eleanor [415] Fangirl: George [325], (extra vote) [371], Nordom [383], Strangelove [391], Iskaral [396], Stay Puft [406], Columbo [410], Batman [414], Zedd [425], Corinthian [434]
Assuming Batman and Eleanor town (but would scum jail there own to support it: yes - jail seems very powerful for scum (mod forced lurking basically) but I don't see others target a claimed doctor) for now I get Skellington, Nakor, Iskaral and Zedd.
Day Two with all the claims I tend to see scum more as placing one-off votes: Iskaral, Maniac, Galadriel, Skellington and Nakor. Looks like I missed Death of Rats and Gir! ending with a vote that Day as well.
Day Three: not much happened.
Vote: Gir! To get the votes moving. A possible killer targeting batman. I would like to know who she targetted instead. I still want to look at the timing when she claimed to have not been in the bat cave (also would a scum claim not to be there when masons suggested people to claim?).

Thought you meant that you were positive. s'otay. but what i don't get is why you and bill/batty aren't all over each other's asses. i mean if you folks feel compelled to kill a mason to confirm the other two and our results i really don't give a shit. i always play for a team win. in this case that would be town. and fuck you have to admit that other than batty fucking calling out buddy the two of you really haven't done dick. oh noes, we are all blocked. oh, yey bill/batty is not a town threat. oh crap i went and investigated a claimed mason and ended up on jack who is not a town threat (whatever the fuck that is supposed to mean - based on your terminology). i am rapidly approaching the congruence of what you are saying and bullshit. oh whoops, i already arrived there.

But if it's just six votes for Zedd and nothing else (on preview, five now) then no need for a count. SQUEEK (Um. There are at least two non-Zedd votes that I'm aware of.) Someone earlier asked about the vote-boosting and it's been bugging me. SQUEEK (I know you've said you're for bed and all, but when you get up and read the thread I'd like an explanation for what you mean by "bugging" you. That's a very non-specific complaint about something that probably does merit more discussion than it's getting.) I don't think you are scum but from what Death of Rats and Paulwhoisameeko are not saying I'm wondering if you are a third party of some sort. SQUEEK? (I haven't said anything about Zedd toDay (or yesterDay) that I recall and for the life of me I can't figure out what the common denominator is between paulwhoisameeko and I that might make sense of this comment.) in you being asked to investigate/read one specific person and then have Bill McBatman not tell us whether he is investigating you or someone else. That approach could generate some good results and means that if there is a redirector then they might be circumvented. SQUEEK! (As Raj mentioned, I think the less said about who is doing what at Night in the Day thread, the better the probable results for Town. It's not like we want to broadcast our intentions to those who mean us harm.) The masons look dodgy as all get-out but I could buy that they were bumbling around in a misguided effort to help. I do want to know why KatGir! and Total Galadriel were visiting Bill McBatman though. Absent any further information my vote is going to rest on one of those two. SQUEEK! (As Raj said (I'm not snuggling, he just keeps getting there before me) -- so you're voting KatGir! because you can't vote Total. Riiiiiiiiight. Also, if you'd looked at the votes, you'd see that you're not the only one who thinks the claimed masons are acting in a dodgy fashion. I was suspicious of you yesterDay, and your last three posts have pushed me past "suspicious". Therefore...) SQUEEK! (Vote: Bathory delays)<font style="font-size: 12px;">i seem to struggle typing 'eve' and it ends up 'ee'. that's the second time. Obvioulsy eening should have been evening SQUEEK! I'm not ready to see Zedd die, but I think the plan that I mentioned earlier should be abandoned. It's not workable at this stage and is too easily manipulated by scum. As long as Zedd tries to catch scum tonight, instead of claimed cops or claimed masons, I'm for letting him see tomorrow. I don't like this paragraph. Not willing to take a chance. Also, the whole "I don't know who to vote for." is a mantra more likely to be spoken by scum than town, IME. I also don't understand why it's between Total and Gir!, do you feel that scum is more likely to claim being redirected, or more likely to just admit that they were there and think up a false claim later? I think they are equally likely, and don't think it's appropriate to remove Maniac and Rorschach from your suspicions based on that fact alone. It looks obliquely defensive of one of those two (Rorschach or Maniac). vote elizabeth bathory

<font style="font-size: 12px;"> <font style="font-size: 12px;">I'm 50/50 on lynching zedd. I think i'm straying because of the confusion surrounding the mismatches yesterday. But here's what I propose: We don't lynch zedd today, instead he promises to role investigate someone who hasn't claimed tonight. If he says the right thing tomorrow, then we think about it more. If he says the wrong thing tomorrow then his ass is toast. If he says he got roleblocked or redirected again, then maybe we'll have caught scum another way, or maybe we'll be able to show that he's been lying this whole time. Anyone see any gaping holes? Or tiny holes? Yep.... there it is.... I just adapted it after these posts that brought up concerns... <font style="font-size: 12px;"> Can you define "right" and "wrong"? Sorry, I should be clearer. Right = Zedd: Yes folks I did a role investigate and X is Y. X: Yes that is correct I am Y. Wrong = Zedd: Sorry guys, I decided to do the "threat to town thing again." Zedd: I decided to investigate X who claimed Y and is Y. Zedd: Yes folks I did a role investigate and X is Y. X: No that is incorrect I am not Y. Zedd: I was roleblocked. Watcher: Bullshit, no one visited you. Hard to tell: Zedd: I was redirected to X, and found out they are Y. Watcher: Maybe. Here's who targetted you last night. Zedd: I was roleblocked. Watcher: Maybe. Here's who targetted you last night. ======================== Of course, I can't guarantee that the watcher will actually target Zedd tonight, but it's WiFoM enough, I think. <font style="font-size: 12px;">
I'm 50/50 on lynching zedd.
My bolding.
How do we know what the right thing or the wrong thing is?
The only way that I can think is for Bill McBatman and Zedd to both investigate the same player and have Zedd report his findings first. Bill can then confirm him. This is could be a horrendous waste of an investigation if Zedd provides the right information. Although if he does come up with the goods then we do at least have two confirmed investigators plus the information about the other player.
The alternative would be to have Bill McBatman investigate Zedd and have Zedd investigate someone else. It won't tell us much about the extent of his powers or what the phrase "threat to town" means but it would at least give us information on Zedd's alignment. It would be a horrible waste of an investigator to lynch him today, if he's telling the truth. I am attempting to provide mitigation. Honestly the easiest way to see if he's town is to cut him open and read his entrails. We'd know for sure then, but he might not be much use to us. We can probably afford to wast one investigation if there is indeed two cops, but I'd like to not do that. Amongst others... Not liking my plan is one thing.... being suspicious of me for supporting a mason plan and suggesting ways to make it work? That's lacking logical support. Not to mention that you masons seem to be up in arms over anyone being suspicious of you... it seems that no one can investigate you... or vote you... or question you... without you crying wolf. But now, someone supports you and they're the bad guy too? Which is it? Support you.... question/doubt you.... or ignore you altogether?

Would the people voting for Elizabeth mind pointing at something that was not posted in the past 10 hours to support their cases? I can see how some of the wording in her post is odd and worthy of questioning, but voting seems like a stretch and those votes are already piling up.
Gir! and Total are providing testimony contrary to the information that the Masons have. YesterDay, that was an offense that apparently warranted a full-court presses to kill other players who also had contradicting testimony. The only recipient of that pressure so far is our dead Town Vig. So looking hard at Gir! and Total based on the information at hand isn't coming out of left field.

I'm not voting for her, but I'd probably have hopped on the bandwagon myself if not for the votes before me, Zedd or no Zedd -- Elizabeth Bathory is a fine and bloodthirsty townie, and she has not been up to her usual standards by a long shot. This post is the first blatantly scummy thing I've seen from her, but given how out of character she has been, I think it's plenty to place a vote for. I have no problem with the suspicon of Gir. What I took exception to was: 1. Elizabeth made clear she'd spent an entire evening review Day 2 voting She gave no results, no comments, nothing about an entire evening of work. She just mentioned that she'd been working on the game. Even if she found nothing suspicious, wouldn't a Townie share that information? While it seems ridiculous that a Scum would also not find something to say, it seem less ridiculous that a Scum might pretend to be contributing this way and then actually forget that they are supposed to contribute. 2. She decided that Zedd wasn't Scum yet gave no reason why. OK, she did comment that it was based on other people's comments. With no indication of which comments or why. Cerrtainly a Scum Elizabeth would know that Zedd wasn't Scum, and might even think he was 3rd party. 3. She narrowed down her suspicion to Gir and then didn't vote.

I wanted to do some research to find out where to vote, and was planning to look at the people who claimed to not visit Batman yet were accused of doing so when Elizabeth came in wearing a "Hi, my name is Scum" tag.

[eyes glow red]Inconsistent human, are you arguing that I'm lying about not having targeted the Bat, or that I was redirected because I'm a killer? It can't be both. *dramatic sigh* However, I will refute both accusations: 1) I am not lying. I did not target the Bat--or rather, I did not intend to target the Bat. I assume someone appropriated my guidance chip (i.e. redirected me). 2) I am not killing anyone. I will confirm that I do not get any sort of PM response from the mods for my Night Action. The mods are bastards. They even mocked me in my role PM.[/eyes glow red] I had something else I wanted to say, but I forgetted it. *wanders off in search of caffeine to boost brain activity* So you admit that were now redirected. Only if "now" means "a week ago" in your gigantic Dibhead. The teeth, the teeth!
