As a long and drawn out piece of color slowly came together to replace this blather... drainbead shrank before the assembled hordes.
Hal Briston had fingered her, and not in the nice way either. She was toast.
Holy Dead Sidekick, Batman! Drainbead, a.k.a. Robin, a Baddie Do Gooder Goon, was lynched!

Oh and a smite for the boring reading. You had all day to come up with some nice color, and this is what we get? You're slacking! The fingered comment was rather amusing so only one smite not once and hour

Although I gotta say, I find that a little surprising. Would've figured Robin had some good powers (unless they're just not telling us).

Oh come on now, he did not make the team Scottie Pippen made the team what it was in the early 90s. Or at least contributed more than you "airheads" like to acknowledge.

Huh, so this is what it's like to be around at Night. Basketball...I agree with Ryjae on prinicple (I think Pippen is WAY unerrated for his contribution to the team) but still think that you can't dismiss what Jordan brought to the game. I don't think that the team would have worked without him, and I don't think he would have worked without the team. You can't seperate the two. The Bulls of the early 90's were freakin magicians.

Roommate and I have a slight disagreement about Gotham. I think that Metropolis represents New York city, whereas Gotham is Chicago (the Tim Burton version having largely influenced this mental association), but she opines that Metropolis is NYC's light side, and Gotham its dark side. (IIRC, in DC Metropolis and Gotham are sister cities, are they not?)

Gotham being Chicago is a Christopher Nolan thing, I believe. As far as what city it was originally based on, I think both it and Metropolis were based on New York with varying degrees of exaggeration depending on the characters involved.

w00t!
I have no opinion on the Gotham/Metropolis/Pipen/Jordan debates.
I do have an opinion on the chicken wing debate, though. There is NOTHING more HORRIFIC than chicken wings that are covered with skin that is still slimy. The skin should be crisped nicely, on the dry side, and taste only of whatever sauce/seasoning was used. It should NOT have that unmistakable flavor of chicken skin/fat, EVER.

Incidentally, speaking of Nolan and Chicago Batman, my girlfriend and I were crowd extras for charity during part of the filming for the next movie. It'll be interesting to see if we can be seen in the scenes we were in.

Chicken wing debate? I don't see any chicken wing debate in the game? I'm an instigator of improv debating. ;D There should be skin on wings, but the fine line between slimy and over-cooked needs to be respected. The fat and skin together should be caramelized into perfect crispy harmony that fills the mouth with just the right amount of grease and texture. My hunch is that it is nearly impossible to cook a decent chicken wing via baking, and that it is the deep-frying process that pulls the wing up to the level of perfection. This is based on an ongoing study of wings purchased from pizza places, where baking appears to (unfortunately) be the only method of cooking available.

Well, my preferred way to eat chicken is to get a roaster from the supermarket (mmm), eat some while it's still hot, then use the rest for chicken salad sandwiches.

Tough luck you had, Robin. Want some pom-poms?
And the best way to eat chicken is fried with skin and breading and all that good stuff. *sniffles sadly* Roasted and grilled are okay, too.
God, I would kill for some fried chicken right now.

I thought we were just talking wings here. Skinless is only for wings. Otherwise skin is fine.
