I'm totally going to Vig Meeko Tonight barring a completely obvious target. I don't think he's a bad player, but he gets so caught up in minutia that it damages his own arguments. When you combine that with his prolific posting style, it's better for Town all around if he is removed early. I just hope that if he is Town that he isn't a Witch or similar.

Vampire KatI want to kill storyteller. I was thinking about killed Special Ed, since that would have cast suspicion on bunches and bunches of people, but there's a good chance that (a) he might be targeted by someone else or (b) he could continue to draw lynch-attention. My other possible choice was Idle Thoughts, but since I once told him that he would be one of my main choices for NKs, someone might remember that.

Just thought I would confirm NO KILL tonight for my role.
It will give the Detective more chance to catch a wolf then if I take action and there is no-one else currently I really want to off.

I suppose I have options. The smart thing would be not to kill since I don't have a really good target. But what fun would that be? But I don't really want to be that guy that just goes all selfish crazy and starts hurting his own side in the process. So what does that leave the best choice? I think it has to be one of Meeko and Ed. Too much noise and distraction from them. Of the two, Ed is the slightly scummier. I'm not going to kill him though. If I kill Ed, Meeko will just find another way to be a distraction. If I kill Meeko, and Ed is Town, then he'll be valuable to the team. And if he isn't, well I can always kill him later too.
I'll take out Meeko tonight.

Thoughts and ponderings from a Vigilante.
1. Boozy Squid being scum. I can't believe he outed himself on Day 1. Nice one BS, P.I.
2. storyteller. Why do I have this feeling he asked for a Witch Doctor role.
3. Actual other scum, Well to be honest, I haven't started looking yet. I would guess that Vampires took out Meeko and storyteller last Night with the Wolves picking off Special ed, who is becoming too good a player to leave around. Either as scum or town.
Let's See what Day 2 brings - see if I can spot someone and get the Knife out tonight.

Something amusing for the Spoiler Board...
I didn't know that it was storyteller's birthday! I need protection!
*breaks down sobbing in terror*
Are Vampires allowed in the Witness Protection Program?

Vicar PrecambrianMollusc
not sure here Could go with blessing the soon to be strung up Mr Blocky, would his team mate(s) want him resurected?
Everyone loves the barman, would the undead go for the Squid for some late night comedy and figure that the vicar would not bless him 2 nights in a row?
Would they go for the ed or meeko show, figuring the vic is thinking 'surely no one would resurrect meeko' so won't bless Meeko?
Why yes I would love another glass of wine. It is all a bit of a crap shoot really.
Bless Meeko

Vigilante CatInASuitWell, I have to have a go now don't I. ;D At the start of the Day and through out it, I think I have spotted a few more potential town and scum. Although as I stated in the game, we are just not having enough conversation to try and work out if someone is scum from their activity instead of them being found dead or outed. So, looking at the list, the following people are appearing scum Sister Coyote - Cabal bufftabby - unknown MHaye - Wolf and finally Parzival - wolf/magician. I will be honest and say I can understand his reticence because if Special Ed comes up as a Vig, then bufftabby was a protected. However, as I am the Vig and having five night kills on Night 1 is so extreme I don't want to think about it, (and curse you Pleonast, if that is true ) my guess is he was a wolf. Parzival could be either, but it doesn't really matter because to bluff this early is just asking for trouble later on. So he saved his neck at the last by giving a vig a target. Finally, do you think it could be any more obvious to the rest of the players that I am the Vig. Why play like this, I want to draw the scum fire away from the other players who can help the town. I should not be as necessary to the town win as the other roles. In fact if I do kill a scum on one Night, its a bonus. This role is about as vanilla as it gets in this game. Although knowing my luck, they probably all think I am a Vampire again. And with that, it's time to take my opening bow on the Night stage. kill bufftabbyHere's hoping I read Parzival right.

Magician Parzival
No more Night Action for me, but I thought I'd pass along, if anyone's watching, a little explanation on my actions :
I became vanilla without being able to really finger my attacker. My choice then was to get night killed to save another town role or try to become confirmed. Initially I was going for the first route since I didn't want to cause confusion by fingering bufftabby without being sure (I really did miss the bit about the Scotsman). At the start I was also trying to bait the wolves - if Ed was a Wolf and they thought I was a vamp, they might try to lynch me. I didn't really want to keep a magic bag for long; I fully intended to claim first in the morning Day 3, but needed to provide the clue on Ed before his faction is revealed. I left it purposely vague to try to salvage some discussion. I'm happy with what happened though - I'm either going to get pre-emptively killed by scum or end up confirmed pretty soon.
As another aside, I appreciated CatinASuit's compliment about me planning this as scum. I really wish I had, because it would have been a good ploy.

So here we are again. I was tempted to not kill anyone Tonight, but it looks to me like there's a good target. Do I necessarily believe Parz? Not totally no. But I don't want a Vamp trying to false claim Vig. So better to try and head that possibility off at the pass if I can.
Kill Bufftabby.

Vampire Kat
Well, I'm not going to target bufftabby, in case the theory about her being a Vampire or a Vicar is right.
Parzival is now Vanilla, so I'll put him on the back burner. He's a confirmed Town, so he'll have to die at some point, but not toNight (or at least, not from me).
I'm gonna kill peekercpa. Maybe that'll throw some suspicion on the people he's smudged. That would be fun.

Witch peekercpa
and is everyone in this game obtuse. c'mon townies get after this nonsense.
also, if i didn't know/guess differently i'd say pede has a solo wincon.
and mafia nirvana is perhaps achieved. we have exited these poor shells and transformed to a spiritual state.
there is no longer a need to exchange information via the board. it is now all done telepathically.

Vigilante CatInASuitCan I cry now This has to be one of the stupidest misreadings of the rules in a while. Ok, there can be two Magicians in the game. 1. Magician Parzival marks bufftabby as his proxy 2. Magician Hockeyguy marks Special Ed as his proxy Special Ed attacks Parzival and is passed onto bufftabby. No-one attacks HockeyGuy (otherwise he would know about it). Special Ed dies due outside interference, it doesn't actually matter how. Umm, I really don't see a problem with both events happening. And this makes Parzival scum? Has hockeyguy lost his marbles? At least it has bought the scum out in spades looking for an easy lynch. Makes you wonder what is going to happen next, although the town just sacrificed a Magician today.

Well I kept hoping someone would report something useful in the Night to give me a good target. I don't currently feel that I have any good leads, other than potentially hockeyguy. I don't think randomly killing him would be the best choice however. Better to give him a bit of warning in case he's telling the truth, so it doesn't get redirected in a crappy direction.
Speaking of, let's say for the sake of argument that I did target him, and for the purposes of my question he's telling the truth. If it gets redirected to a Town player, would I then have to kill myself?
Unless something changes before Dawn, I'm sitting Tonight out.
