That's a new variation on "Scum wouldn't do this...and I am, therefore I'm not Scum" saying. It's "Scum would do that....and I'm not, therefore I'm not Scum" Keep twisting my words. I'm just saying that if you really believe I am scum, you are foolish to leave me with the possibility. Hell, one of my scum comrades would probably get await with "being persuaded" to move his vote away, and we could vote pedescribe. Now warning town of a mistake is scummy too? That's just.. well.. It explain why I have five votes. Yes, please, if you are Scum, convince all of your scum buddies to switch votes late. That won't look suspicious. And, I'm sure if you were scum and brought that up in the scum thread, it would be quickly shot town

I'm home sick with what might be h1n1 (a mild case, but I can't be at work) So I'm ready to make sure we don't have a tie either. My vote is currently on pedescribe.

Technically, I could be a bastard and force a no lynch now. If you think I'm scum, either vote for me, or vote for someone else. I am town however, and I think town is better of with the information than with my power. Correct me if I'm wrong and I'll switch. Oh please. Threats now? How am I threating anyone? I'm pointing out a glaring mistake town is making if I were scum and I'm taking flak for that too? *GAAH* This game is frustrating.

BillMc's claim. The initial claim was in D01.232. The relevant portion of the post (it's right down the bottom). I'm the Passenger Vigilante.
The interesting thing about my PM, is that it says I'll find out in the morning whether I was successful, and what the role of the person I've killed was - which kinda leads me to believe that there may be a janitor about, or some other obfuscation/delay of death info. That does not read to me that there is anything odd going on. The Vig's action is a Night action. Would you really expect the Mod to tell the Vig his results privately, before the Night ended? I wouldn't. Maybe with the Dawn, but not before it. In which case, the results are also publically available in the Dawn post. Bill's second word on the subject is in D01.373. Again, the relevant portion of the post. Just to add to this, I did ask CAIS whether the results of my kills would be revealed to everyone....he declined to answer the question. CIAS wants us to "Assume Nothing and Expect Everything." I wouldn't expect him to answer a question, except maybe with "RAFO."

It looked more like a threat that you could create a tie. If you did, many of us would assume you were scum because it's very anti-Town to do. However, by threatening to do it, you may have hoped that some people would move their votes off you and join you in voting for one of the other leaders.

However, by threatening to do it, you may have hoped that some people would move their votes off you and join you in voting for one of the other leaders. True, but I really think people have been assuming the worst possible meaning of most of my statements this game. Exceedingly frustrating considering my initial (my feeling) suspicion was because I wanted to vote early, which I still believe is a good thing. I know I've been overly defensive this game (and please don't change your votes because of it), but I haven't played for months, and its damn annoying to get lynched in the very first day after waiting so long I hold no grudge against anyone here, all I've said is part of the game, and I recognize I am mostly to blame for my lynch, but I like to be agreesive and stir the pot. I often pay of price for this, and today is no exception. If I can offer some advice, don't start by looking at the most vocal and agressive players. My only regret by being this outspoken is that I have allowed scum to lurk in the background.

Scum are lurking in the background? I thought nphase and Bill were leading your lynch as Scum. It's not your outspoken-ness that has led to trouble. You may just be a Townie who changes their minds frequently and doesn't always explain things as fully as you shoud, but to an outsider, it really looks like you're just floundering around for the most convenient thing to get you out of the noose.

I see nothing wrong with changing your mind often, especially on day one. And I put reasons as well as I can. Mafia is no exact science. It may seem like OMGUS to you, but I sincerely feel like people are twisting my every word. Obvously I don't know who scum is. There is a good possibility that there are a few voting for me, and there is a possibly better chance that they are simply being quiet while I dig my own grave. It's been like hitting my head against a wall. Every action I've made as been turned into something scummy. Sure, there are various strategies to being scum, but one thing I can say is that for scum to play like I have would be even dumber than a townie playing like I have.

Thanks. Chucara, sometimes it's really just better to stop digging. I have perpetual foot-in-mouth syndrome. I've said that I haven't played well, blamed myself for my lynch and apologized for being overly defensive. I've tried my best to get something out of this for town. I've apparently pissed of some people, and I am sorry for that. As I said, please don't take anything I've said personally - it's just a game, and I harbour no ill feelings. I hope everyone will return the favour. On the other hand, as defensive as I've been, some people locked on to me being scum very early and have been rocksolid on that stance.

Time is almost up.
I've prepared this post to move my vote to Chucara to prevent that, but I do want the record to show I found pede more suspicious.
Vote: Chucara
