I have a little NAFlette! She was born yesterday at 4:49 PM eastern time, and I have only gotten about 6 hours of sleep since my wife's water broke 36 hours before that.
I am tired but happy.

Wonderful news!
Welcome to the start of a brand new life. You thought getting married changed your life? It's nothing compared to getting a baby.
You'll learn to get by on a few hours sleep.

You realize that any use of your baby as excuse to not participate in Mafia will get you lynched, right? ;D
Seriously, though, congrats.

Congrats. Isn't she a little young for Pratchett though *waves hi to 16 year old Nafette who stumbles upon this thread.*

NAF, you may find that This book by the same author is a little closer to age-appropriate reading for her.

She is a big fan of Susan's (as are all children I have found) and is already eagerly awaiting the arrival of my copy of Unseen Academicals. I will have to get a copy of Where's My Cow? for her though. That's a good suggestion MHaye. Thanks!

Yattara reminded me about Where's My Cow - she's the Pratchett fan. Compared to her I'm just an admirer.
She did promise to buy me my own copy of The Last Hero though.
I'm glad to see it bearing such positive fruit. I'l try and remember to tell her.
