The scum are NAF, DorianPhoenix, and Darth Sensitive.
Darth is a vote buyer and can buy the vote of one person every Night to vote for a person of the scum's choosing. He cannot choose to give up this power.
Cookies is the Detective
Shaggy is the Doctor
Peek and Special Ed are the Masons
And Fisheroo is the PFK...a Bus Driver role. He switches/redirects every Night action made by everyone (including scum kills) until he is dead. He sends me two lists every Night...List A and List B. Both are filled with the current players of the game.
What happens to what person on list A each night really happens to the person on list B. Fisheroo cannot give this power up.
So, for example, if Cookies chooses to investgate Shaggy, she will, instead, get a result of whoever is across from Shaggy on list B.
Last Night fisheroo did the following switches:
1)Cookies/Coyote 2)peeker/Pleonast 3)Nanook/NAF 4)Bill/Boozy 4)Luv/Fisheroo 6)Coyote/Cookies 7)Dorian/Darth 8)Darth/Dorian 9)Boozy/Bill 10)Shaggy/Special Ed 11)Special Ed/Shaggy 12)Pleonast/peeker 13)fisheroo/luv 14)NAF/Nanook
Cookies investigated FISHEROO...but via the list above, she got the result on Luv. Shaggy protected NAF...but via the list above, he really protected Nanook. The scum chose to kill Pleonast....and Darth chose to buy off Special Ed to vote for NAF...but via the list above, the scum killed Peeker....and Darth's buy off went to Shaggy to vote for Nanook.

Very, very interesting Night.
Cookies chose to investigate fisheroo again. Shaggy protected luv. And the scum wanted to kill Pleonast again, with Special Ed's vote being bought off to vote for NAF.
Only thing is, fisheroos list was this:
1) Cookies/luv 2) Bill/ Cookies 3) luv/fisheroo 4) coyote/pleo 5) Dorian/Special Ed 6) Darth/ Bill 7) Boozy/Shaggy 8) Shaggy/ Dorian 9) Special Ed/ Coyote 10) Pleo/ Darth 11) Fisheroo/ NAF 12) NAF/ Boozy
So Cookies got a result on NAF instead (finding out he's scum) Shaggy protected Fisheroo And the scum killed off one of their own people..Darth.... The vote buy off will be SisterCoyote voting for Boozy.

I knew NAF was scum because his so-called reasoning behind voting me was bullshit, and he knows better. I'm pretty sure the scum would have been happy to just keep going on killing low volume players with the lynch each Day.

Yep, they said they were totally prepared to gang up on people and do exactly what everyone thought scum would never do. It was also unfortunate, as you now see. Because the thing that started your lynch was Shaggy's vote..and, as you see, that was because of the redirect. It was supposed to be Mr Special Ed voting for NAF...but fisheroo made it you. : /

Both are filled with the current players of the game. Yikes! That is a nearly all-powerful combined protector, killer and investigator role. Whichever side he played against was doomed. It needs some serious limitations. The obvious is allowing the power to be used only once or twice. I think a more interesting limitation would be that the role could only win if the game lasted at least N Days. With N set to the "expected" length of the game. That is, the number of mislynches plus the number of scum, so in this case with 15 players and 3 scum would be ((15-3) - 3) / 2 + 3 = 7. Only letting this role win if the game lasts until Day 7 would force it to balance its play carefully. I'll also note that only 3 scum out of 15 players is rather few for the scum, but can be made up by appropriate scum powers. The vote buying might be enough to balance the missing scum in this case.

It was an awesome role.
Interestingly enough, I didn't want to use it the first day or two-I was originally looking for more chaos than caring about who won.
But my townie sensibilities took over. If I am ever scum, it'll be difficult for my personality.
Maybe.
But my guesses to scum were pretty much spot on, with the exception of Coyote. That definitely shortened up the game.
Probably won't play for another 6 months or so, getting busy with work.

But my townie sensibilities took over. If I am ever scum, it'll be difficult for my personality. Playing scum is easy. Play exactly as if you're town. The only difference is you get to decide who to kill at Night.

I don't even really remember what reasoning I had to choose fisheroo on the first night. A little bit of trying to get a read on NAF since he been gunning for fisheroo, a little bit of just picking someone around the middle of the participation pool. Once I got redirected though, I wanted to go back and see if it was fisheroo or some 3rd party messing with me.

I remember thinking that you were the most likely candidate to be the cop because you were participating, but not a lot. You were just sort of keeping your toe in the game, which struck me as rather the way a power role would behave.
I lied in my last post of the game though. We decided to go for a second round of trying to kill off pleo. I figured the redirector wouldn't hit again since it was so obviously a whole game redirect.

Once I got redirected though, I wanted to go back and see if it was fisheroo or some 3rd party messing with me. This was one of the kickers, I think. By sheer luck you chose to investigate him first (and then again) so you always thought it was him doing the redirecting of just you. Really, all Night actions were being redirected, though, so I have no doubt if you knew that (or had chosen a different target), you'd never have thought it was fisheroo doing it. But, as it was, you were right by the coincidence of it all : )

Actually, the first Night I thought it may have been a one-time-fuck-with-everyone-power.
