You can still block.

I dunno. Any potential killing role could hit a witch so.....don't think we'd want to block them. We could try blocking whoever we think is the Necromancer, although not sure how well we could single a person out as it.

Not to mention we don't even know, yet, if Story or Bill was the Necro.

Players still alive and of unknown alignment: 11. Honest Moley 14. Captain Pinkies 16. Sister Coyote 21. FlyingCowOfDoom 22. duvsie 23. redskeezix Sach is said to be Town by both Nanook and Kat, so I'm more apt to believe it. MentalGuy says he's a Detective, and by this point I'm more apt to believe him. Capt Pinkies is who Ed said was the Vicar was and while I still don't know what to make of that, I'm going to give him a pass for now. So...who to block? Which of these people might be the Necro? That is, if the Necro is still in the game, even. It could have been Storyteller or BillMc, after all. But say the Necro is still in the game, who would be most likely to be it? Heh, not that we'd have any better chance of being right than we were with Bill being the last Witch.

Heh, this whole game, I've been trying to subtly use reverse psychology with the scum....telling and asking them I want to die and to kill me off; to make the "Town" kill me rather than a more important Town role. Well, right now, with my most recent post in the Night thread, I think I'm guilty of reverse reverse psychology. Here's hoping it works too.

I don't believe ed over Captain P. His claim was that he was somehow "blessed" and knew who had done it. I find it hard to believe that
a) The Vicar would use his special power on Night One, when he had no idea who he was targetting b) The Vicar's power would involve giving away his identity.
So my guess is that this was ed being random, with the second place guess being that Captain P is a Wolf.
I still fancy FCOD as a wolf. I think red might be.
The thing is, the Necro isn't going to give themselves away by posting. So it's a bit of a guess.
I say we go after duvsie, Moley or Pinkies. I honestly don't mind which.

I'm fine with Duvsie or Moley too, although I was actually thinking Moley specifically, earlier today if I had to lean more one way than the other. But we could flip a coin, truth be told.

Just checked - Moley made a big post on Day Four about the importance of killing off the Undead. No-one else was banging that drum so it's an unlikely move for a Vamp/Necro. I really don't want the Nec to be duvsie because s/he's been playing so little. But if so, I really want to block him/her. So let's do that.

That'd make the role perfect for her, as I think I mentioned earlier. I don't know if she would realize it or want to take advantage of it. Were any known or suspected wolves on her bandwagon?
We'd know if the Necromancer was dead, wouldn't we? The zombies would disappear?
I'm a bit concerned I might be killed in a hunt for the Necromancer, simply because there's not much other of a way to account for me. The wolves in particular must be down to a "short list" that's even shorter than ours, and I'll be on it.
Thing is, I'm not sure that claiming Cabal (or anything else, for that matter) would dissuade a kill, since it might not be believed. I could claim our block; I think that's allowed.
It may be all over but the shouting, regardless.

Oh, and -- things are going great here, relatively speaking, and I'll be home Friday, I think.

Well, do what you want, Nphase, but my opinion would be to say nothing because you just never know. If I were you, I'd only claim if I were in the hotseat being voted on for a lynch. They might spare you in hopes of finding undead instead.
For example, if tomorrow one of the detectives announces you killed BillMc, I'd claim cabal (if people started voting for you in droves) and say a Night kill was your secret power. You might be believed and you might not be, but if you are, like I said, they may pass you up for now to find Undead. Glad things are looking up for you in real life.
I'm fine with a block on Duvsie.

OK I'll go with what you want, but just to point out, nobody's going to be claiming I killed Bill. (I was a "vampire".) See you guys in a few days if not sooner.

Yes, glad to hear you've got some good news.
Right now, we're only going to win if we get the Nec dead. Same for everyone.
But if we do that, we need one more dead Witch and to survive to the end game.
The Wolves are going to go Nec hunting. Town has no kills that we know of. We have no more kills. Vamps will kill anybody except the Nec.
So one of the non-Wolves in Idle's list is going to be killed. Possibly the Vamps will go after a Witch, as being definitely not the Vicar. We're going to block duvsie.
Best case - duvsie is Necro, and our block is successful. First time there are no zombies, it might be a good guess by Vicar - but that's increasingly unlikely. So then, or the second time if we reblock Duvsie again, nphase claims, saying Cabal have found the Necro. Hints that this might not be the suicide move it appears to be. (Or doesn't hint, and leaves the paranoid to guess it). If nphase gets killed, people will assume Cabal are out the game. Then that leaves Idle to survive, powerless. It's kind of a long shot, but as I see it that's our only path to victory now. The sooner a block finds the Nec, the better for us.

So the consensus is to block duvsie?
