Updating the player list: 1. SisterCoyote 2. GnarlyCharlie 3. JustBeingGinger4. Archangel, Wrangel Island Lemming, Vanilla5. InnerStickler 6. moodymitchy, Raccoon, Mason7. LightFoot, Raccoon, Mason8. SuburbanPlankton 9. Deni10. Storyteller 11. SilverJan, Wrangel Island Lemming, Vanilla 12. Fubbleskag, Elephant, Cop23. CatInASuit So let's play it out. Assume for the moment four living Scum. That means we currently stand at 9-4 (Town:Scum). This would seem to be a worst case scenario, yes. Of the 13 players left, there are 7 lynchable players - CiaS, SilverJan, Storyteller, Plankton, Inner Stickler, GnarlyCharly, and Sister Coyote. Say we mislynch today. Say it's me. Down to 8-4, with 6 lynchables left. Tonight, the Scum will kill fubbleskag. Say the Vig kills another lynchable, and it's a vanilla. Now we're down to 6-4, with 5 lynchable players remaining. However, of those five, in this hypothetical, four are Scum and one is the Vig. ToMorrow, the Vig claims. If (s)he is not counterclaimed, then we have identified all of the Scum. If (s)he IS counterclaimed, then we lynch someone other than a Vig claimant, and let the Vig handle his opposite number. In any case, assuming that we do not reveal the Vigilante and assuming that the Vigilante targets and kills an unclaimed player toNight, I am not sure how we can lose unless there are five Scum remaining. Any arguments with my math here? Your numbers look right, assuming there are 4 Scum left. Sister Coyote and gnarlycharlie both voted for colby11 on Day 1 and Day 2. Those votes move them to the bottom of my suspect list for the moment. That leaves Inner Stickler, storyteller, Silver Jan and CatInaSuit. If story's math and my hunch are both correct, I ought to be able to shoot blindfolded from here and hit Scum...but I have a hard time believing it could be that easy. I'm off to review some posts before I come back with a vote.

I think story, if Scum, would do anything he could to 'help' Town, especially when it comes to providing factual information. Generally, this is true. I'd like to point out, though, that in this particular case, if I were Scum what I would actually do right now is concede. It does not appear possible for the Scum to win, unless there is extreme gastardity at work - specifically, if Meeko has put a Godfather in the game in spite of explicitly denying such. And if that's the case, I shall be very... put. out.

Silver Jan
Came under fire day 1 for statements about her Role PM and for making assumptions about other roles in the game. Looking back, I'm, not finding anything Scummy here. Her postings are very much 'in her style', and I get the feeling she accidentally gave away more information than she meant to, and then got herself into trouble trying to talk her way out of it.
CatInaSuit
His biggest contribution to the game has been to say things like "Sorry I haven't been participating. I'm back now, and will try to catch up". Has only voted 2 of the 4 Days, and came back to say that one of those (his vote on Suburban on Day 2) was a mistake, based as it was on a false assumption.
Really not much to go on here.
storyteller
Day 1: Wonders about the similarity (or lack thereof) between Silver Jan's PM and Trepa's Day 2: No Posts Day 3: Thinks fubbleskag should reveal the alignment of his investigative targets. Is very frustrated by Captain Pinkies. Thinks the case against Archangel is highly suspect. Day 4: Makes a 'helpful past about the Scum's chances at this point.
story has yet to place a single vote in this game.
Inner Stickler
He subbed in Night 1 for metallicsquink, who had no contributions of note on Day 1
Day 2: Votes texcat for saying that fubbleskag should not reveal his targets' alignment. Day 3: Votes Archangel. Unvotes after fubbleskag clears her, and votes for moodymitchy. Unvotes him after the Mason claim and votes for Deni. Also says he'd be OK with a Captain Pinkies lynch. Day 4: votes JustBeingGinger. Unvotes after fubbleskag clears her, and votes for Silver Jan.
He has placed 6 votes. 1 of those players has flipped Town. 4 of them have been confirmed Town either by fubbleskag or by a Mason claim. He probably would have been better off if fubbleskag had revealed his targets' alignments right away.
At this point, I'm not getting a Scummy vibe off of Silver Jan. storyteller and CIAS have hardly posted enough to be able to jusdge them. And Inner Stickler just seems to be having the worst luck, voting-wise (though to be fair, a lot of us are shooting blanks in this arena at the moment).
outrun Inner Stickler
I'm going off a gut instinct here as much as anything else, voting Inner over story and CIAS.

I wish Deni would share her thoughts, in the first game we ever played she was very insightful and now she seems to be hanging back. Come on Deni, share please. I was suspicious of SP for a while on D1 but I can't remember why, I will go back. You are so kind, I assure you I am not hanging back, I am as mystified as everyone else. If memory serves me correctly the first game we play I was town and town lost. I only found one scum.

outrun Deni Twice in the latter stages of the Day she voted "to break the tie". In neither case did she give a single reason for thinking her targets ( Captain Pinkies and Special Ed) were Scum; she simply wanted 'someone other than Deni' to be lynched. Although you have changed your vote I just wanted to respond to this anyway. You are correct, it was a self preservation move. Now I have a question out of curiosity, why is that be a bad thing?

Because if you don't suspect the tied player of being scum, then what difference does it make? If you're a power role and you think the other player is scum or a VT, yes, save yourself. If you're VT and think the other tied player is also town, you could be killing a power role to save yourself.
Also, timing. It's veddy veddy suspicious to come in at the last minute and shift the vote so a VT ends up getting lynched. Do it earlier and give people a chance for discussion. I don't remember as much about the Pinkies vote, but there was no lynch pressure, I do believe so it wasn't just a save yourself vote, you should have taken some time to vote for someone you found scummy.

since I'm likely to die soon, here are my investigation results: Arch Angel = Town Deni = Town JBG = Town sorry that I wasn't more useful, and good luck! I've thought about this, and I've thought about this. I didn't want to do this, but at the same time, I owe it to Town. It's not something I've done, but I need to act on it nonetheless. It makes me look like an idiot and that kinda gets to me, frankly.
Fubble has made an error. His investigation on Deni is wrong. I told him that Deni was Rabid Scum, while using red text.
I'm less than pleased that I have to do this, because it makes me look like, and come off looking like an Idiot. I DESPISE Mafia for the fact that it can never be played the way one person wants it to be played. My assumption that this feeling doesn't enter the realm of Modding has been shattered.
I've talked to Deni about this, and we both agree that the following should take place. [At least, there is the implication that it should.]
Town : Word of Mod :: Deni is Scum.
Scum : Town got this information from you fair and square. If I don't intercede here, it breaks the game in half, in your favor. Besides, the .......elephant in the room is that our elephant will die tonight. This is a less than fair trade to fix something that will frankly allow you all to coast to the finish.
