Night 7 has ended. Scum did not give night kill instructions for Night 7.
So be it.
No one died last night.
-------------------------------------------------------------
It is now Day 8. Night 8 will start 8/26 at 12:01 am.

Not too much to say here. Either there are two Scum left, in which case they are Plankton and gnarlycharly, or there's only one left.
Five are alive: me, Plankton, gnarlycharly, Archangel, and moodymitchy. If we mislynch toDay (assume we lynch me, which would be a mislynch), then toNight the Scum will kill either Archangel or mitchy and that'll be game over if there are two Scum remaining.
If there is only one Scum left, then a mislynch toDay and a kill of (say) Archangel means toMorrow begins with Plankton, gnarlycharly, and mitchy, with mitchy having to figure out which of Plankton and gnarlycharly are lying.
Thus the game is very much up for grabs.
I know that either gnarlycharly or Plankton are Scum. I have a feeling that Plankton is not. This is exacerbated by the missed kill. I know that Plankton was here over Night - he posted in the Night thread, even. gnarlycharly, on the other hand, was absent for a long time - last posting quite early in Day 7. I find it hard to credit that Plankton was online, posted to the Night thread, but didn't send in a Night kill order.
So:
vote gnarlycharly
I will vote defensively (for Plankton) if necessary.

Well I'm not too sure what to make of it... I still think there could be 2 SCUM left.
With 2 trusted TOWN members and neither of us being really active , it's still anyones game.
I've stated my case for Suburban Plankton and I see now real reason to change that case.
We have no idea whether SCUM chose not to kill last Night in order for (possibly) storyteller0910 and Suburban Plankton to cook up this story and see to it that maybe neither of them get lynched.. depending on how good or bad a case gnarleycharlie makes for themselves... or with the knowlegde of the numbers they could afford to "bus" one or the other.

Well, if you play out the scenario where I am Town, it actually makes some sense.
If there are two Scum remaining, then it's gnarly and Plankton, and they both have no choice but to vote for me. Voting for one another would be incredibly dangerous: make an unconvincing case and you make yourself the target; make too convincing a case and your team-mate eats it. With two remaining Scum, if they can force a mislynch of me then it's game over and they win, so putting themselves on the line in the effort to do so is really the best and only play.
Now consider the case where I am Scum and so is one of gnarlycharly or Plankton. That would mean that at some point toDay - with the game on the line - both Scum were voting for one another. That would be very bad play by the Scum.
In fairness, if you believe there is only one Scum left, then really toDay's events make sense (from your perspective) with any of the three of us as the remaining Scum.

Well, I happen to believe there is only one Scum left, and I think it's you. I'll have you note that not a single vote has been placed on gnarly in this entire game. Now that certainly doesn't clear him as Town, but it certainly suggests that nobody has really been suspicious of him at all, including you. Now suddenly you use "gnarly as Scum" to bolster your own case? It's a good case, and pretty much unarguable. Lucky for you, because you know it's a false one, since you are the last remaining Scum.

If you are, actually, Town, ask yourself this: What does the fact that no one has ever voted for gnarlycharly actually tell you? What does it suggest?

A fair point. If you are, actually, Town, ask yourself this: What does the fact that no one has ever voted for gnarlycharly actually tell you? What does it suggest? It suggests that he's played an extremely 'clean' game, such that no Townies have become suspicious of him on their own, and no Scum has been able to find anything to build a false case upon. This means that he's played an exemplary game, either as Town or Scum...and probably deserves to win in either case.

No pressure, Archangel. It's just the fate of the entire zoo riding on your shoulders. Don't trouble yourself that all of Ceciltown's children will be heartbroken if you choose wrong. I'm sure they'll understand.

Actually, I believe this is only LyLo if there are still 2 Scum left. If there is only one 1, then it becomes a 3-handed game Tomorrow if we mislynch Today.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I did get my BA in Math, but somehow that doesn't translate to Mafia for me...
