and just as a public aside. guiri is officially on the same list as bill, sach and story. namely, if they are not definitely on my team they have to go bye bye quickly.

Oh man paranoia nice change at the last minute. I thought day ended tomorrow... sorry about that. All I did on the way home was contemplate who to vote and finally get here and bam I was off a day. I have got to start using my gut instinct in this game. Good job sinjin and paranoia sorry for missing EOD.

Thanks for a fun game Special Ed!
Well done Town, good game! Peeker, what did you learn from that other board? I was amazed!
Sorry scum, I really had issues with bussing and my vote record did me no favors. I ended up doing exactly what Inner said I always do as scum...
Could Red not have been substituted? If Sinjin had been lynched toDay, it was game over toMorrow Night as, with Red absent, there would have been a tied vote - not really a nice way to win the game after Town had done so well.

That was a great game, thanks Ed, even if I was killed just for guiri's amusement

Substituting Red may have been possible, but I've recently converted to more of a hands-off method in terms of participation.
Also, I've come to agree with Winstom Smith/Lucifer in that it might be improper to sub a ded player back into a game. The player may very well be ded because the Scum wanted them dead for what they were thinking, and to bring their mindset back into the game seems unfair.
What I liked about this game was that it really was a Vanilla win. Power roles had only a very minor impact in the game. Scum chose exceptionally well in their kills and Town was very effective with their lynches. I think it was a well played game all the way around.

holy farck. i continute to be amazed. i agree wholeheartedly with ed.; dead players should not be reinput unless extreme circumstances mandate it. and hands off modding is the way to go. let the players figure it out.

Well done Town, good game! Peeker, what did you learn from that other board? I was amazed! <snipped> well i don't want to piss off the poggers because they seem like good folks but .... i like our style of game much better. it's seems to be a little more cerebral. but i do like the way they get in each other's grill more than we have a tendency to do. but they take that as the norm and don't seem to get as defensive. so it's a little like mosh pit meets opera in combining the two. and just to be totally honest. inner really did twinge me. the fact that the twinge was correct was pure d fucking luck. but once he flipped mpp then the rest was pretty simple especially after the bill kill. but i see the logic behind it. i mean leave him alive and he'll figure it out in about a nanosecond. it took we a tad bit longer. i'd really like to see bill and guiri as scum together. that is so frightening as to make a saw movie pg-13 by comparison. heh heh.

I have got to start using my gut instinct in this game. Good job sinjin and paranoia sorry for missing EOD. who were you going to vote for, btw? Well I would like to say guiri because that is what my gut said, but I was really torn because I really disliked paranoia's case against sinjin - it just seemed to odd. I wouldn't have voted sinjin and probably would have voted guiri to save her but I am starting to see that I talk myself out of the right decision a lot. I am going to have to quit playing "wimpy". Guiri is good! Day 4 starts with paranoia voting for guiri because he is uber creepy at nailing power players and we still let him live. Recruitment playing was a different mindset I know when I voted peeker out it was because pollux's post made sense and in the back of my mind I was thinking pollux helped get rid of Inner (obviously between sampling and recruiting). My biggest struggle in the game, any game is how to get my gut thoughts onto the screen. How to analyze what I have read, process it and explain it to others.

You can't have those two on the same scum team, they'd get each other lynched in the first round. Seriously. Personally I'd like to see Story, Sach, Guiri and Roosh on the same scum team, ideally along with myself. That's everybody I've ever thought should be night-killed by scum as early as possible on pure principle. Plus, isn't Storyteller the power-townie who has never played scum yet? EDIT: Oh, and good game all, especially town. I thought there'd be at least three mislynches in this one, probably two in the first couple of rounds.

Plus, isn't Storyteller the power-townie who has never played scum yet? No... In M2 on the Dope, Storyteller was the Godfather. At one point he doggedly settled on making a case against one of his fellow Mafiates, got him lynched then went straight after another. By the time the game got to 5-handed, everyone had Storyteller marked as "Town." I thought storyteller#### was the uber scum who bussed all his team-mates and won. Indeed.

Days. fuck, 3 months of your life down the proverbial porcelain goddess.

That featured Monkgate, Santo Rugger posting on the main board and blowing someone else's cover with it, then deleting the post, and a last heroic effort by DarkCookies to uncover Kyrie Eleison as the Prophet of Sekham. It also featured Hal Briston getting overeager for Night to end and betraying his Cop role to the Cult, who killed him before he could spill the beans on Hockey Monkey's fibbing. She was a Town aligned roleblocker, and claimed no action N2, when she in fact blocked Hal.) The false Mason claim was NAF and I in Ragnarok. It also featured the Town Cop getting lynched Day 1 after being caught in a lie, and the Mafia Detective joining our gang Day 4 and saying something like "Hi. I thought you'd like to know the names of the Town Doc and Vig..." Those were the days.

This is why you can't have me and Storyteller on the same scum team, for the same reason as you can't have Guiri and Bill - we'd bus each other and get each other lynched in the first round. On the other hand, NOBODY would see it coming!

Damn, I wish I'd seen that one. To this day I still have fond memories of my first game here, Arkham Knights - and that's despite the fact that I only played it because I was laid up in bed for six months with a very, very nasty lung condition at the time.
