i wanted to bring up the idea about roles that can determine linked players but was wary of being accused of PIS.

If we're reading that rule correctly, then yes, I think there almost has to be a role that can either sever two players or that can determine who is linked to whom.
Also: I am profoundly unhappy with Ed's play implying we shouldn't be discussing the collars. It's not enough to vote him yet, but it's not right. Both in the "not-Ed-like" sense, though I know he's been trying to change up his playstyle, but also in the "why would you shut down discussion on Day One when that's all Town has to go on" sense.
I am at this point more ambivalent on Jan (whose post read to me like "oh my god, sacher, you just confused the hell out of me and so I'm going to vote you." rather than trying to change the subject) and leaning negatively on Paranoia though not as much so as Ed. I'm not worried about Paranoia's vote on me; I'm more bothered by his complaint about wading through Walls of Text.

we'll have to watch Ed, change of playstyle or not.
i'm trying t change mine too though i haven't announced it. i hope to be more participative. i usually survive to late in the game because of my non-abrasive play but my case-building skills have been weak.
as for Silver Jan, it could have been the wine in front of her talking. it could also be a smokescreen. i haven't played with paranoia much so i'm not sure if his comment is consistent with prior play.

Yeah, we always need to watch Ed. Also, IS. And my ability to read Maha is virtually nil.

Gnarly, I hope you can get to this before Day End -- we need to talk about revealing ourselves. Or half of ourselves, anyway, as I'm in the hot seat. I'm willing to give it a little more time, but we'll do town better if we both survive for a while.
Am wondering if I shouldn't just go ahead and say I'm blue team and am part of a "group" that can identify each other, though I don't want to out you until/unless I have to...
