Two kills until there are 15 people left in the game (that includes scum numbers).
Go.

Okay, this goes without saying: kill Hal.
We may have another unclaimed Detective. I don't have any real guesses, but we may want to kill colby11.
Or, we can kill Silver Jan with the hope she doesn't confirm septimus. But that's a long-shot play.
I'm open to suggestions. Fortunately, an in-week Night means I can participate more here.

I took the back and forth (below) to be their confirming of one another. Am I way off base? clipped With the demise of Mahaloth, I do think it's time for remaining Mason to claim. But I wouldn't want him to take my word for it! Comments? clipped That was funny. Ok I won't take your word for it, would you take mine? OK. I am the remaining Mason.

Pleonast, I have a question: you said last Night that we should NOT night-kill Townies you have "confirmed"; why? Won't it be obvious something's up if we leave your Townies alone and kill all of Hal's?

Pleonast, I have a question: you said last Night that we should NOT night-kill Townies you have "confirmed"; why? Won't it be obvious something's up if we leave your Townies alone and kill all of Hal's? I suspect Pleonast is assuming that his days are growing short. Assuming all the doctors are really dead, then it makes no sense for Scum to kill one detective and let the other live. It should not take more than a day or two before Pleonast gets lynched. Once Pleonast flips scum upon his lynching, then all the players he cleared as town begin to look like scum. All the more so as those players are not killed by scum even though scum are busily killing all confirmed town. We need nine mislynches to win, some of those that Pleonast has confirmed as scum will help us get that nine. I would not be surprised if Pleonast has further reasons.

I just reviewed Colby11's posts since his resurrection. I doubt he is a Detective. Septimus is as good a choice as any of the confirmed towns, so....
Vote: Hal Vote: Septimus

well, that was a fast day! how does Idle come up with how many people have to vote to end day, was that explained somewhere?
we gotta get rid of Hal, so I agree on that one all the way. I'm slightly more inclined to knock off SilverJan instead of Septimus, as we might be able to get a mislynch of him if others don't pick up on the breadcrumb Cathi noted. (is this the correct usage of "breadcrumb"?) If not SilverJan, then we might as well try Septimus, to buy another bit of "unknown" time for us. After that, it's gonna start getting trickier to hide, I fear.
vote Hal
now, I wanted to ask Pleonast about his "plan" of acting as a detective - won't it seem suspicious if he once again finds a "Town" ? Hal has found Town and Scum, and the odds are only with you for so long... I realize that Pleo likely only has another Day or two anyway, but won't that alone raise red flags?

It's usually about half of the remaining people in the game. It was a little less than half this time, though.

nevermind on that Septimus/SilverJan part I mentioned before, as they've taken care of that on the other board. So,
Vote Septimus
though I don't have a great reason as to why him rather than her.
Idle, originally it was stated that Masons couldn't sub back in, but now that they've all been "confirmed," could Septimus/SilverJan sub in again if they wanted?
...Not that it changes all that much for us, but they both seem to be decent players, so maybe hitting a less-involved but still active player could be better, as they're less likely to come back in or do a great job? On the flip side, if we get one of them, maybe it would help us more than hurt us, as they do seem to know what they're doing.
with that, how come Septimus subbed back in from dying as a Doctor? Theoretically, he has extra information from knowing who he protected each night and how many kills took place, and whether his "saves" were successful or not - it's not too helpful at the moment, but I could see if becoming valuable info late-game in regards to who we might have tried to hit and missed. Sure, it's just theory, as his saves might have done nothing, but it's still extra info...

I voted Septimus over SilverJan because his record is better than hers at finding scum (so far). Same reason I voted Mahaloth over SilverJan, she even said he was a better player than her. If everyone would rather take out SilverJan, that's okay by me, I'll switch my vote. I don't actually care who goes, as long as they DIE. I really hope the "secret number of Doctors" was 3 and we have clear shots from here on out...

Don't kill the players I've "confirmed" because they are a safe place for scum to hide in. Nevermind that there aren't any scum there; town will think there is. And if we carefully avoid killing any of them, town will be certain there's scum there. Let's plan on me being lynched Tomorrow. I suggest those of you who've attacked me to do so again. The rest of you should hop on my bandwagon before most town do. The goal is to have the last half of players voting for my lynch to be town, because town will look for scum to be slow to jump on my bandwagon. So I want all of you to be quick about it. Let it be a jet-propelled bus.

Hmm. Depending on how our Night kills go, I might change my plan.
I'm thinking to investigate crys and find "scum". Might as well draw a mislynch before my inevitable lynch. That's probably better than adding another player to my "confirmed" list.

That's probably better than adding another player to my "confirmed" list. I'm not sure that is going to work. I think it stands as good a chance of confirming Crys as it does of mislynching her. If you are going to do that, then none of us should be pushing the "Pleo is scum" wagon at all. The problem is what if Crys picks up on the fact that you survived and starts pushing back? You could end up lynched and she with town cred. I plan to point out (not too hastily, but in the first day) that you survived and wonder about whether there is another doctor or are the scum incompetent or is Pleo scum...) But if no one picks up on that and nothing gets rolling, then I think we should wait and see if a mislynch is on the table. If it looks like a lynch of one of us is developing, then I would whip the Pleo is scum horse again and people should jump in.

Yeah, I'm now thinking to go with "crys is town" and see what happens from that.

Yeah, I'd consider Silver Jan and Septimus able to sub back in now.
Remember, that you'll get whoever is subbed back in after the next sub.
Looks like your choices are all Hal and Septimus.
Just let me know when I can start Day again (or if you'd like to talk the whole Night out...you have 24 more hours)

Any chance you can give me a Detective role pm?I wouldn't normally ask, but you did say you wanted us to fake claim. And you allow posting pms. If you can't do that, end the Night as early as possible.

I plan to point out (not too hastily, but in the first day) that you survived and wonder about whether there is another doctor or are the scum incompetent or is Pleo scum...) snipped. right now, with the attention going toward "which experienced players might be Scum and leading their decisions," I think things will get tricky fast. on one hand, we might be able to get Town to believe that the remaining Scum ARE n00bs and don't know what we're doing anymore, which is why Pleo is alive. On the other, we have been doing a semi-thorough job of getting Powers at night, even if there are some misses, so it'd be hard for Town to believe that we have NO experienced players helping... BUT, the "maybe there's another doctor" card fits great, what with the random Oldred line and the fact that we're planning on only two kills tonight instead of the three.

I'm okay with Night ending as well.
