My Mom showed me one of these while I was visiting her this weekend. Someone sent it to her with the joke that the animation represented all of the balls the women have to juggle every day, while men always just worry about the same two... I've loved kinetic sculptures since I was a kid. (The kind that Anthony Hopkins' character built in Fracture, which I also watched for the first time this weekend.) There were a few artists near my home town who built them, and I would always make my parents stop so I could see them when we made our trips "into town" for groceries and such. Stan Bennett and his Magic Marble Machines is the most prominent object of my nostalgia.
