So just out of curiousity,
How many of our players have actually played Dynasty Warriors or a Three Kingdoms related computer game.

Koei owns my soul. ;D I was really surprised. I had played the First Gen Dynasty Warriors, back when it was a fighting game and wasn't impressed--my major beef about fighting games has always been that there were too many moves to memorize. A friend of mine whose blog I was following started raving about DW5, and my curiosity finally got the better of me and I rented it from Blockbuster. First ImpressionHistorical inaccuracies and bad pronunciations aside, this franchise is so made of win. (Although I do think that they're pushing the whole thing too far, especially with DW6 - the character and stage designs there look like they've completely stopped trying and just did whatever.)

I've played 2 and 3. My friend owns them and we played around with the first few levels. All I have to say is...they're hard. Oh, and I've learned that you should always run away from Lu Bu. Always.

Nah... after you've gone through the story mode once or twice with a given character, Lu Bu is the only challenge. Unlocking Lu Bu in DW2 or DW3 was ridiculously, almost impossibly, hard, though.

Well just for fun I have started playing through Kessen 2 again.
For me, its more fun moving troops around, than acting as a one man/woman killing machine.
Three Kingdoms + magic is so much fun
