Dark Souls 2 Day Four – The Lost Bastille The Lost Bastille is a lonely place, as much maze as prison. While the most exceptionally dangerous residents of the Bastille are safety tucked away in cells, the majority are left free to roam. Upon arrival, the Chosen undead sets its sights firmly on the massive stone tower at the back of the prison - a place ominously called Sinner's Rise. It does battle with the strange undead jailers who haunt this place - giant men shrouded in mismatched wrappings, conjuring spouts of flame and spinning huge pole arms. By now, however, the Chosen cuts through them quickly and easily; it has learned its craft well.
The others spend the night roaming the strange halls of the prison, each to his or her own. They gather again in the morning, at the base of Sinner's Rise. Two are missing. By now they are well-acquainted with this process, so they wait patiently for MentalGuy and Swammerdami to stagger in, a few hours later and a whole lot deader.
Swammerdami is now HOLLOW. Mental Guy is now HOLLOW.
But one among them looks to be much more cheerful; guiri, who had until recently been using a complex series of bandages to keep his decaying right arm from dropping off at the shoulder, joins them looking as fresh and lively as when they had begun.
Guiri is now HUMAN again.--- Day Four begins here, and will end at approximately 12:30PM Eastern time on Thursday, September 4.

Thank you to whoever cured me, I wonder if it's temporary.
I attempted to use a power last night and was blocked, not sure if that was related to being unhollowed or something else.
I strongly suspect Surburban Plankton was collaborating with Chameleon and is therefore hostile to wotb, a general vibe from his posts throughout D2 and D3, initially trying to hand wave the case against Chameleon, arguing pro/anti-town, trying to sway the vote back to Patricia who was doomed anyway.
Vote Suburban Plankton

Thank you to whoever cured me, I wonder if it's temporary. I suppose it may just be color, but Patricia was referred to by the mod as "somewhat more dead than when she started", but you are apparently "looking as fresh and lively as when they had begun".

I wonder if we don't have some sort of grave keeper power working on Guiri last night, since Patricia claimed to be able to heal people. Whether that claim was true or not, I don't know for certain, especially since she flipped hostile.

I sincerely hope you're on a massive game-within-a-game adventure that is taking all your attention and energy cause you do not appear to be playing, or enjoying, this game. Unless you need to survive in order to reach your wincon and your strategy is to not play...

Vote meeko for playing toDay and at least yesterDay in a very quiet and unmeeko way. I believe, but do not have cites right here, that he frequently lays low(or lower than normal) when he is scum.

Low participation is bad for the Game. Abstain, Colby11, Cookies, and Suburban Plankton are among those posting very little. Come on Scum, we can't identify you if you don't post Scummy things! Plankton's posting was focussed on saving Chameleon. This seemed almost too blatant to be Scummy, but perhaps he and Chameleon were a faction of just two and the threat to his only partner made him desperate. ComeToTheDarkSideWeHaveCookies is laying very low, with much of her posting at Night. YesterDay she made an early vote on Patricia suggesting that if Scum, she's a Dragon Remnant rather than a Royal Rat. With Plankton that gives two candidates for Dragon Remnant; who's our Royal Rat?

I copied the post counts from the message board utility. Some of the 9's are actually 10 or 11 -- I wanted single digits for line-up.

Busy, meatspace thrilled and distracted, but I'm here believe it or not. Glad to see a vote. I'd vote for me right now. But then again, the last time you voted for yourself, didn't you have a vote charged abillity? Powers you gained where checked to how any votes you got? --------- My issue with this game, is the lack of information. It is very challenging to wait as long as we are for mod confirmed information. Not getting a reveal from a normal lynch, indeed the entire two stage death mechanic, really slows the information down. This In turn slows the play off of it down. Also, when a whole bunch of players die all at once, the same thing happens. That is to say, I'm willing to bet that most of the conversation that was to be had today, would have been about the recently departed, had they not departed. Mahaloth what did you want me to cover?

If I'm not playing, what then is this post of yours?

Does game inactivity force the hand on investigative roles? Or do investigative roles wait for three town results, regardless?

Okay, I'm feel somewhat confident in calling bufftabby a scum lean at the moment.
Skimming d2/3, he pushes patricia above all, seeking to keep chameleon alive for another night? Then he does a post about chameleon next day, restates the case and leaves.
I'd like him to speak up a bit and find a new target, see what he thinks, who he goes after.
Sub Plank defending also looks bad for him, but I think a townie would be more likely to question that rather than a mafioso, because that would attract a fair amount of attention. Still, pressure on both is good.
Unvote: cookies Vote: bufftabby

There are not any most likely unless it is our silent players, but I doubt it. It was kind of a clusterfuck for everyone involved last time. I loved it, but a total clusterfuck.

I don't feel the case against bufftabby; I sense Townie vibes from her. (I may be grasping at straws, but the low participation leads me to guess that the blocking and unhollowing are related.) Re Plankton: another possibility is that he is a Royal Rat, and knowing Chameleon wasn't on his own Scum team, hoped she flip as a non-Scum killer, thus winning cred for himself. But I'm going to apply pressure elsewho: Vote: ComeToTheDarkSideWeHaveCookies

I happen to like the two death mechanism, but aside of it, I like the shortened day/nights. At least what seems like shorter than normal day/nights. KWIM.
I also don't like how quiet SP has been. I need to re-read this day though before I put down any votes.

Then he does a post about chameleon next day, restates the case and leaves. It's true; I did vote for one Hostile (Patricia, Day 2) before I voted for the other Hostile (Chameleon, Day 3). I'm not sure what's supposed to be so scummy about that. I note that you yourself didn't "push" anyone Day 2, since you didn't vote. Were you then seeking to keep Chameleon alive, by not voting for her? Day 3, you voted for Chameleon, same as I did. How is my voting record supposed to be worse than yours, now? Your post above is such a bad smear job as to appear scummy IMO. My point being, this is not an OMGUS. vote Abstain

I like the cut of bufftabby's gib.
Vote: Abstain
While we're throwing around scum motivational theories, any of us innocents in the non-participatory end of the pool would be fish in a barrel for hostiles to shoot at. This is both self-deprecating and analytical...sort of.
But trying to pin people as pushing or not pushing for known scum after what was really just two lucky breaks, I just don't see it.

I believe, but do not have cites right here, that he frequently lays low(or lower than normal) when he is scum. I also agree with this. I also think that what Meeko has revealed about his role makes it unlikely that he is Town. He would be my second choice for a vote right now. I will be rereading to see what I think about the cases on bufftabby, Cookies, and abstain, but I really think Plankton is the best lynch for toDay.

If I'm not playing, what then is this post of yours? Actually I apologize, based on swammerdami's post count, yesterDay was quite quiet for everyone. I just saw your recent posts as a succession of infrequent one liners. Not sure about your kettle comment, are you saying we are equally active or equally inactive? Does game inactivity force the hand on investigative roles? Or do investigative roles wait for three town results, regardless? If an investigative role has two town results, in a game with multiple hostile factions, and with private messaging, it may be useful to share the results with the known townies as an insurance policy or use the orange soapstones to share the results without needing to claim just yet.
