Let me start by first asking, who here knows them? I was extremely flabbergasted to find out that my contemporaries here at work (24-28) were all in agreement as they asked "Who the hell are Kids in the Hall?"
Me and the girlfriend got tix about 2 weeks ago, and I can't wait to show up tonight (Kenswick Theater, in Philly). I used to watch them in 1 hour blocks in college all the damn time (97-01) and well...sure they look older and a bit larger, but damn am I excited to go.

Dude, I am totally jealous! I haven't ever seen them in person, but I friend of mine saw them a couple of years back and says that they are as good, if not better than they were back in the day.
And, as I am a conteporay of yours as well (25) I say that your co-workers need to have their heads squished between your thumb and forefinger. That'll learn em.
Seriously, who doesn't know The Kids in the Hall. That's like not knowing The State, or not knowing what to do with $240 worth of pudding.

And, as I am a conteporay of yours as well (25) Hey you damn kids! Stay the hell off of my lawn! Well, okay, not really. I'm only 31, and besides my girlfriend is 25. But I remember the Kids in the Hall from the end of the original run of their show. I was spending my summers in high school working night stock crew at a local supermarket. On the nights we'd get done earlier. I'd catch a little bit of them on our CBS affiliate before going to bed. I never watched them much in college, though, they were pretty much done by 1995. I know their show went into syndicated reruns after that.

Yeah, I know of them (and I'm 22), but I just never "got" them when I was younger. So enjoy yourself, but  let us know if it was good.

Oh the show was great...it ran about 90 minutes or so, starting at 8 last night.
If anyone's familiar with Philly, we were at the Keswick theater (bout 1200 seats). Apparently, they had sold out the regular seats and added about 20 more chairs to the front, where the orchestra pit would normally be. Me and the GF were all of 6 feet off the stage for the show.
If anyone's seen, they opened with the little video where they discussed new bits, and ended that with "Lets rape Kevin!" followed immediately by Kevin running around the stage with an apple in his mouth.
Lets see ; they did a Gavin bit (the really odd little kid), a Buddy Cole monologue, a chicken lady bit, a Cathy and Kathy bit, and of course, the encore was "I'm crushing your head!".
