That's 11 for sinjin, by my count. One more starts the 12-hour countdown. Speaking of countdown: Contrary to what UATU has posted in the Day 1 Final Vote Count posting, the Countdown was indeed started. However, both Chucara and I switched our votes to peeker after the countdown was triggered so the end number of votes on molefan was less than what the threshold was.

What specifically would you like me to explain? I could make a full claim, but that would nerf whatever power I have left. If you have a specific question, I can attempt to answer it. I say attempt, because I would prefer not to give away all the secrets regarding my role to the scum, since said role would be nigh useless at that point if I did.

Post by Santo Rugger on Sept 30, 2008 9:42:13 GMT -5
Well, you had a magic bag in half your posts Today: There is one other thing regarding my role that I will explain at a later time however. I just don't see any burning need to explain it at this time. Santo, I'm not planning on holding out very long on the additional information, just a few days(not Days). I have a reason for this, and it will be clear when I explain. And then this was your explanation, which left me even more confused than before you posted it: I can't say I disagree with starting the countdown now. As Mhaye said, once the zombie haikus come out, it's time to move on. I, however, will not be voting for sinjin. My ability to raise a zombie is dependent on where my vote is at the end of the Day. Further, I am unable to do anything with certain bodies, mostly scum ones. As such, I will be one off voting someone else. Said vote will not cause any harm or negative effects of any sort. For the future, I will be voting as normal throughout the Day, only changing at the end of the Day as needed by my powers. For Today, you can consider me a Sinjin voter. [colorblue]vote Mhaye
You said you'd make it clear when you eloquated, and you haven't.

Maybe I wasn't as clear as I thought. My ability to raise zombies is directly tied to where my vote is at the end of the Day. I had a vote on molefan, I raised him. I don't see any point in raising sinjin, so I'm not voting for her. Clearer?

Nanook.
I don't know about anyone else, but I would like a better explanation of your vote. See, you voted for Molefan Yesterday, and his corpse came crawling back up out of its hole this Morning. So I sortakinda get a sneaky feeling that your power works like this : if you vote for someone and they die before the next Dawn, they become a zombie. What side Nanook is on, and what use he is making of zombies I don't know. My hypothesis doesn't extend to motivation.
If I were to speculate on that... well, what we were told suggests that the bad guys are Apocalypse and his Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. One of whom is Death.
Death, making zombies? Just too straightforward. Or maybe that's what people are supposed to think.
It fits the facts we know.
I'm quite in agreement with the suggestion that we don't have enough data points to formulate a decent hypothesis right now. But, if I'm right, we'll only find out if I die before Tomorrow's Dawn. And once I'm dead, I can't say anything about it, can I?
So, I'm floating this now. If I die and am reanimated, will the rest of the Townsmutants make sure Nanook explains what he does. If I awake, of course, then I didn't need to worry. I'm just putting this put there now because I don't want to take the gamble.

I'm sorry you all think I was playing anti-town. I was doing the best I could for you all. I gave you a role claim that cried out to be killed. No need for anyone to even think about it. Maybe I overdid it a little and you can blame me for that. I figured, mostly correctly, that you all would decide I was the lynch candidate today, but hold off on killing me till the end and carry on constructive discussion. Since it appeared that discussion was dying down, I real claimed.
Come on be honest, if I had come out with this claim earlier, we would be in the same place but no useful discussion would have occurred.
As for my role pm, it's totally unlike the one Story posted and what others have posted. It's basically a dialog between UATU and Mrs UATU with a couple of Woofs* (translated for Timmy's sake at the end). It's actually quite creative. Props to UATU and Mrs. UATU for the 'color'. I said above I'll send it to you when your dead. Think of it as a consolation prize for getting offed.
For the record, I'm a survivor.
*Who knew he would still be so bitter about being called by a girl's name. For Og's sake it's been 54 years.
I'll be voting in a bit, have to go to work to pay for the electrons.

I would love to see the hilarious role PM if you want to post it to the thread, and I am a bit worried that you are a bomb or jester or some such thing. That being said, there isn't really anything to do at this point so
vote sinjin
I said I would and I have. Too bad I missed out on zombie haiku time though.
Nanook,
Your role as claimed blows. I am very sorry for you if that is actually the role you got. It sounds like something out of the Gastard game. No hairy eyeball, just my sympathies.

Nanook, Your role as claimed blows. I am very sorry for you if that is actually the role you got. It sounds like something out of the Gastard game. No hairy eyeball, just my sympathies. Dude, you have NO idea. My role as originally worded was more or less completely, totally worthless. I asked a bunch of questions which caused story and Kat to get together and discuss it, which led to it be reworked slightly. It's still kind of meh, and I fully expected to get large amounts of heat(ya know, like I am right now) and to die early. Which makes me sad, cuz I like playing and dying early sucks. But thems the breaks. You're on the right track Mhaye, and this was in fact the way my role was originally worded. Which made it worth basically nothing. Thankfully it got changed some. Oh, I wouldn't say that at all. No, I definately can't agree with this idea.

Vote peekercpa
I'm sorry but your role doesn't make sense from a probability stand point. And don't worry I'm not going to put this into equations, they're too hard to type here.
On night one you could vaccinate 1 person out of 23, (mole was dead and I presume you don't need to vaccinate yourself). However about 4-5 of those that you could potentially vaccinate are scum and an additional 4-5 are probably PFK's (this is just a guess based on past games) and me. But your vaccine only takes 25% of the time. So your probability of successfully vaccinating a town person is pretty low. Then for any net benefit to occur that townsperson would have to live long enough and be chosen by your scum counterpart to be infected.
Nah, makes more sense that you are the infector not the vaccinator.
