That you haven't picked up on this isn't a scumtell, since if it were, it would implicate NAF, and the two of you are smarter than to work in tandem so obviously. Huh? If Hoopy were scum deliberately ignoring my (and, I think, your) history of hopping votes a lot, that would implicate you when he dies, since he could have just as easily voted for you. Which would mean, if Hoopy were scum deliberately ignoring our history, you would also have to be scum. Except that that's such an obvious connection, for so little gain, that Hoopy wouldn't do it. Which means that that vote was not made deliberately ignoring my history.

Townies are more than capable of pushing a townie lynch, and usually much better at it then scum. Really? P.S. I can't help but hear Adam Sandler whenever I open this thread: 0:28.

Townies are more than capable of pushing a townie lynch, and usually much better at it then scum. Really? Yes. Except in the rare cases, where they have a specific reason to lead a lynch, town has been shown to be more than adequate at taking each other out. Take a look at NAF's behavior early in SMB, when he thought he was aligned with scum. He was near the front of the bufftabby lynch, but story did the real heavy lifting. The only scum that ended up on bufftabby's lynch was Rugger. (DBI might have, I don't remember, but since she was #2, her motivation for voting bufftabby is easily survival rather than scummy. Rugger was the only one who's reasons were purely scummy.) And since NAF wasn't scum, he could get away with being a bit more blatant. In Batman, my first game, we lynched Atarus/Pollux/Fuego without any help from scum. Not a single scum was on that wagon. I think it was shaggy or ed who brought up the same thing in SMB about people really being forceful in making points appearing as a way for scum to gang up, but really, it's a null tell. Scum are typically more subtle, but will be blatant if it the situation calls for it. That's what I'm getting at.

NETA: In the sentence starting with "Except" they refers to scum, not town.

Which means that that vote was not made deliberately ignoring my history. Dude, how did I become part of this discussion? His addressing me referred to my question of where he was putting me on a scummy scale of 1 to 10. It was independent of his addressing you. I didn't realize I was ignoring anything.

Ok, I know that I did mention that I found NAF's "you're not posting and deserve to die" votes suspicious...but now I'm finding the exceptional analysis of it suspicious as well - specifically from Storyteller and Dorianphoenix. I understand it is essential to analyze a lot in this game and also that some people are naturals at it while others prefer to play more instinctually. However, I also wonder if a scenario like this can't be used by scum to gang up on and plot against one particular town player (which I suspect is what happened to my sorry town ass in the last game I played - live and learn - I hate cliches!). This is now a more "official" reason to keep my vote on Dorianphoenix. Of course it can be used to gang up on a town player. But it can also be used to show that the town player is employing bad logic. I think it comes up in a lot of games that anytime someone takes heat from multiple people that the thing is always scum driven. The thing is, that's usually not true, at least, not when it comes to multiple scum. Townies are more than capable of pushing a townie lynch, and usually much better at it then scum. Most gang-ups are a lot of town with maybe one or two scum at most on the gang-up. Often times, scum don't even get involved. So really, your confirmation of your fluff vote on dorianphoenix is weak. And for that reason, I'm replacing a joke a vote with one that isn't strong by any stretch, but at least has a valid reason. unvote roxis
vote ChameleonFair enough. I agree that scum would much prefer to sit back and watch town lynch one another - and that even when they do have a hand in it it's likely far more subtle - more like a gentle push and then a step back. But I've only played in 2 games - and I believe that I've seen things happen otherwise - which I can't really talk about as one of the games is still being played. It's just based on my very limited experience. I'm not claiming that my vote is a strong one at all - but I don't think that day one votes are likely to ever be strong - it's more like a shot in the dark that will hopefully yield some kind of more substantial information for day 2.

The Day started off slow, but as the sun started to set discussion got more and more heated, with nobody seeming to be able to agree on anything. Dorianphoenix, the apparent vote leader, was apparently unaware of this as he walked around nonchalantly until Chameleon and totallost grabbed both arms.
"Now what?" Chameleon asks. "We're supposed to feed him to the house somehow." totallost replies.
"I'm not dead yet!" Pollux Oil says.... and everyone stares. "Well, you look nervous. Is it the scars? You want to know how I got 'em?" Someone walks a little closer to Pollux Oil. He's still impaled but his jaw and his eyes are moving. "I killed the president of Paraguay with a fork. How've you been?" Everyone crowds in a little closer. "Fooled you!" With that a tiny television set falls out from behind Pollux's head, landing undamaged on the ground. Suddenly it's clear why Pollux Oil sounded like a bunch of random movie quotes.
"But we still don't know what to do with the lynch victim!" totallost grumbles.
Just then the fireplace roars to life and a radio from the other room blares: "We don't need no water let the motherf***er burn!" Shrugging Chameleon and totallost toss Dorianphoenix into the fire.
It is now Night 1. Day 2 will start no later than 12:48 am EST on the 5th(thursday). Day 2 may start early if I get all night actions in quickly.
Dorainphoenix is dead. He was vanilla town.
Night talk is fluff only.
The Vote Count:
Dorianphoenix (2): Chameleon, totallost Totallost (1): Roxis Chameleon (1): Hoopy Frood NAF (1): dorianphoenix BillMC(1): NAF Pedescribe (1): Mhaye

I do that all the time. Moreso in minigames, because I like to act silly here. Well, sillier. That you haven't picked up on this isn't a scumtell, since if it were, it would implicate NAF, and the two of you are smarter than to work in tandem so obviously. So ... ... ... ... ... ... It's morning, the sun is shining on the snow left by two days of arctic conditions, and I feel rested. The difference between my perception of your actions and my perception of NAFs actions is that NAF seems to be working at votehopping for a reason, and you don't. Hence the vote.

Sorry, I thought for some reason fluff was allowed. Maybe I'm getting this and Pede's game mixed up.
Apologies all round. Have some candyfloss on me.

how many times do I need to say bold and colored.
It's not an or.
I made it clear a few times when I pointed it out and didn't count another vote because it wasn't bolded.
Not trying to be a jerk, it's just that I get tired of repeating myself
votes are bold blue
not just blue
unvotes are bold red
not just red
mod questions are bold green
not just green, however if I feel like something needs to be said I'll answer it anyway, but seriously guys, come on.
