A forced vig is real trouble, and as Miss Scarlett says, I'll worry about that toMorrow. Unlikely Compulsory Vig we have for same reason unlikely Serial Killer we have: not enough players. Game over too quickly if either we have.

I happen to agree with the little green man over there; I just don't see a win stealing Jester fitting into the setup. So I'm fine with taking him to the gallows toDay. Vote: Librarian .
I have no idea what in the hell is going on between him and Boopsie...did he strike the woman?

Where did that guy in the bathrobe go? Did he find a cup of soothing herbal tea? I'm still right here, though I would prefer a good cup of real tea to something herbal. A nice Darjeeling maybe, if someone has any. Honestly, it's been ages since I have had a proper cup of tea. The downside, as I see it, to lynching the ape toDay is that we now don't have a lot to talk about. Day 1 is usually a good time to get some reads on some people, and now that boopsie is off the table for lynching, there isn't a whole lot of information being generated anymore. It doesn't seem that anyone is resisting the Librarian lynch...so my guess is going to be that he really is a Miller. I don't have the answer yet. I don't know that not lynching him is the best way to go, and certainly this late in the Day a switch might be bad, but I am interested to hear what other people think about this problem.

Oook ook ook. (Certainly too late.)
Oook ook oooook oook. (Of course I'm a Miller; would be a stupid Scum to claim Miller with this bunch of players and expect to survive long.)
(Oook ook. (Fun thing about being almost dead is you can say things like "if I was Scum ..." and not have it backfire, so that said: ) )
Ooook oook oooook oook oooook oook. (If I were Scum faced with a Day One miller claim, I think I would be annoyed, on the whole.)
Oook ook ooook. (Millers hanging around for any length of time can become a big problem/distraction for Town.)
Oook oook ook. (So Scum would regret losing that chance.)
Oook ook oook. (I think that might outweigh the "yay, free lynch" aspect a bit, for a thoughtful Scum.)
Oook oooook ook. (And that regret might come through in what they choose to say or how they say it as regards lynching me.)
Ooook ook ook ook. (It's not much to go on, and odds are it's wrong.)
Oook ook ooooook ook ook oooook oook ook. (But it's the only thing I can think of to make any use of this situation going forward, and at least you'll know it's honest.)
Oook ook oook. (Apologies again for the lousy timing.)
Ook ooook ook ook. (Wednesdays and Mafia are not going well together for me.)
Ook ook ook. (Good luck, Town.)

Well I know me, and if I were me, I wouldn't mind putting in a creative role in a mini-Mafia game. Also, I know that I'm a huge fan of Discworld, so if it were up to me I'd easily be able to pull up a bunch of knowledge about the Librarian for a role. Does Miller seem like a good fit for the Librarian?
The other me isn't as knowledgeable about Discworld, but looking at the Librarian wiki:
Finally, the most important one:
If I were me and knew this about the Librarian, I would be creative and make the Librarian a second-Day Jester, not a first-Day. Because getting lynched the first Day is something a groom would do, not a best man.
I'm just making a guess about my line of thinking here, but the Librarian could be a Scotsman, and lynching him might activate a power. It would make sense (a lynch might turn him human...but then again, the Librarian wouldn't want to be human, so.)
I could be making this too complicated, but I know me, and me loves complicated.

[Glances over her shoulder at the Oil man] Does anyone understand what this guy's saying? I may not be the smartest cookie in the bag, but drunk talk like that will getcha a pop in the mouth at the Safari Club.
I don't like talkin' much 'cause people always make fun of me, but I'll drop the next guy who so much as looks sideways. Guy or gal. I worked too hard and too long to get here I'm at and ain't nobody gonna take it from me.
[Takes a deep breath]
Sorry folks. I got a temper and sometimes it gets loose.
I don't know much about Millers but what I've heard is they can really mess up the game. I don't want to hafta debate this toMorrow but if the rest of you wanna let him live then I sure hope to heaven that someone takes care of our dirty business toNight. I'll say a prayer for ya, darlin'. Now I gotta get back to fixin' my pickup.

This is certainly a most interesting development.
The Orangutan has claimed Miller--how convenient! Even should an Investigator check them out, a Guilty result would not mean anything.
At this point I am tempted to be contrary and suggest that we leave the supposed Miller alone until we have lynched at least one Mafiate--that way, if he is truly innocent, he helps our numbers, and if not, then well, free lynch.

Ook. (PS:) Oook ook ook. ("Yay, free lynch" is also a perfectly rational Scum response.) Oook ook. (Don't you love useless advice?) *the ape waits patiently* Yes. I expect that this reaction is more likely, given the dearth of players in the game. Assuming we even have a scum team (something that is by no means assured), they only need 3, 4 mislynches tops.
On the other hand, this does not necessarily that the Librarian is a Miller. At this phase in the game, I could see the other scum abandoning a crazy gambit from a fellow.

I do not like the idea of voting for a person that volunteers on day 1 that they are a Miller and then votes for themselves. Something about this doesn't seem right to me.

I don't like voting for the Librarian. It seems too easy, especially for a me special. So.
Stabs Yoda in the eye
For jumping on the Librarian immediately after the monkey said he was a Miller. Seemed too quick and eager to pull the trigger on the monkey. And you know what they say. "Never trust a green midget that immediately votes for a orangutan that just claimed to be a miller."
Or at least, people should say that.

Nice that opposed to Miller lynch you are, yet say how we should handle Miller you don't. And "jump on librarian immediately after [claim]" interesting spin to put on my action is. If notice, you haven't, 20% or so of posts in game I have. Around I was. Saw claim I did. Voted claim I did. Disagree with my strategy you might, but put forward better one you didn't.

I think the Librarian said the KO was a one-time power...But I also think you have a valid point.
Besides, proper taxonomy is really quite necessary.
