To clarify Brewha's role: he was impervious to regular Night actions, but not to kills of any sort.

Wait, I thought that was Bill. Are there now two people who must always die night one? What is a poor scummer to do? Um. Hello? Remember me? I'd just like to point out that in games where NAF arranges for my early death I'm now 3 for 3 (Terminator, Dr. Horrible, Crossed Destinies). I don't think that is a fantastic reflection on my mafia prowess, but I felt obligated to point out that: (1) I still have NAF's number. (2) Killing me doesn't help.

Heh. Hey, you weren't my first choice for night kill. I think.
What *could* brewha "avoid", then? The survivors and the witches' protection? He didn't have anything active, so the watching/tracking/etc was irrelevant.

The new "third vote" meme Given: 1) NAF and sach in a game together 2) sach dead night 1 Result: 1) NAF is scum (Of course, NAF seems to be scum more than odds would dictate. It's like Darth being godfather and drain bead being a blocker. And I think sach has only been scum once.)

Oh, NAF's got nothing on me lately. Excuse the references to places nobody here plays at except me, but:
This game -- mafia. Current Giraffe game -- mafia. One before that -- mafia. Last one here -- PFK. One ongoing game at totalwar.org -- mafia. (I'm dead.) One just-ended game at totalwar.org -- mafia. One recently-ended game at totalwar.org -- mafia (recruited).
In that time period I was town for a total of three days in two games at totalwar.org and CFC; and two days in the next to last game at the straight dope (I'm not in the current one). Go back further than that and it's not so bad -- another game at the dope and one at Giraffe in which I was a townie, plus the first part of the game I was recruited in. But then I was mafia a bunch right before that, too -- my first words to my teammates who recruited me in that one game? "You bastards."
So yeah. Dead, rotting horse head on your pillow, mods. Be warned.

Congrats, town. But it was still fun for us scum, don't you think? I know I enjoyed the scum-team a lot. The different in styles of playing fascinated me from the start

Damnit. I go to all that work to "slip" and say that I don't have a power, and the scum miss it and kill me on suspicion of being a cop.

Well done Town! I'll take full credit for spotting NAF as Scum based on an early Day 1 "lynch the lurker" vote. Other than that stroke of pure luck, I was completely clueless the entire game. At least I drew a Night Kill this time instead of getting myself lynched NAF is always scum. Even when he's not*. NAF should not be considered Town until the moderator says he is, and sometimes not even then. He should be lynched on Day One, every game. EVERY game. * except when he and I are 3rd party masons. Then he's Town.

Its his board, I dunno if I'm allowed to give it out. But ask him when he comes back from real life.
Right gastard, he is. I was trying to be evil, but he and Blocky made my shit look tame.

Let's go way back to early in the game.
Did people genuinely think that "help out power roles" meant that I wanted to "out" them and expose who they were? I have no idea how people actually could read it that way in the context of what I said.

Let's go way back to early in the game. Did people genuinely think that "help out power roles" meant that I wanted to "out" them and expose who they were? I have no idea how people actually could read it that way in the context of what I said. Me? No, I read it as "assist" power roles, not "expose" power roles. Of course I got dead early on, so couldn't participate much. (Not the worst. The worst was sitting in front of my PC screaming "Ask if [Idle Thoughts] shows signs of a violent altercation, you idiots" when zuma accused Idle of trying to kill him one Night on the Hispaniola. I think it took two or three days before someone actually read the GM's post on the roles and their powers...) I do get the feeling that the cult were underpowered for the Town they faced, although there were a couple of edges that weren't obvious. Probably the least common was that the cult killed before the other killing powers. This meant that (a) when NAF was killed, he had already executed the cult's kill for that Night, and (b) on Night 6, Renata killed Guiri before Guiri could kill Renata. I was hoping someone on the Cult's team might guess that, because there was only one kill on Night 4, that blocking Texcat had prevented the non-cult kill, and redirect Texcat onto someone else on Night 5, which could have resulted in two Cult kills a Night for a couple of Nights.

Yeah, we were nowhere near that realization: too many false assumptions.

Yeah, we were nowhere near that realization: too many false assumptions. I was blinded by the fact that the killed was also our killer. So I actually never even stopped to think it wasn't somehow connected... Live and learn, I guess (or hope)
