I'm not as confident as you that ALL the Masons have gone bad.
Hoopy is the one who fumbled the (fake?) handshake from BillMc.

My earlier post: Yes. And I didn't report it because he wasn't part of the original agreement of who was shaking with who, because we weren't even sure he was definitely around. So I wasn't going to say anything until he did, with all the weirdness surrounding mason claims at the time. And I thought I confirmed his findings after he posted them, but looking back, apparently I didn't. I must admit I'm very suspicious. What would be harmful about "BTW, Bill shook hands with me yesterDay. He's still a Mason."? Bill "forgets" to attach his results. You "thought you confirmed." Bill argues to keep Peeker alive, despite that Cabal is perhaps the only remaining serious threat. ... If there are more Cabalists hiding among our Masons, I think they're Hoopy and Bill. I ask the remaining Town Masons to handshake with them again today ... though I have some fear that may just turn them into Cabal Masons, too.

On a separate matter: Do others have trouble on this board with slow responses and lost posts? I have Firefox ABP installed. Is it appropriate to disable "google-analytics" or other servers this board ends up "waiting" for? I have AdBlockPlus and NoScript on, giving no permissions to this site at all. And it works fine for me.

*reads over thread* Ed, I'm not actually sure I can argue out of the points that have been made because I'm not sure you are currently open to reason. ~~~~~ Ok, for starters: according to you, all the Freemasons had become Cabal by the end of Day 3. Your proposal is that each handshake between Cabal and Freemason recruits the Freemason. That would mean by the End of Day 3 there were 8 Cabal members in the game. I believe this would mean that every recruited freemason was also able to use the Cabal secret power as well. Does this really make any sense? I prefer the option that Peekercpa individually recruited a Freemason on certain Days as the secret power instead. If the freemasons cannot be bothered to shake, as it has been done so many time, you have a hidden Cabal member there and the hope that one of the NKs will take out a Witch leading to a Cabal win. ~~~~~ @suburban Plankton: The price of freedom is eternal vigilance ~~~~~ Here is another proposal for you: the Wolf secret power is a extra kill for every two Wolves killed. Look at who was hit on Night 5, a claimed detective and a claimed Warlock. Both of who are highly effective only against the Wolves and who would need to be killed before they could make a hit on anyone else. If the last Wolf is the Omega Wolf, then the Witches are not a problem, because they will read the player as Town. They may as well take out the confirmed Freemasons, who will also need to be killed, especially if the Witches are self-protecting. ~~~~~ Next Inner Sticklers' power role: I don't believe and here's why. 1. It's not just an investigation role, it's a roleblock. More importantly, it's a scum roleblock, something capable of stopping the scum Night Kill. I want to know why, Inner Stickler did not try to investigate either myself or Sister Coyote given that he had the possibility to not only confirm his role, but also out a scum and prevent the NK. Also, his power is only lost against the town. If it is used against the scum, it can be used multiple times. If he had stopped a scum attack last night, he could have done the same again tonight. @inner Stickler - answers please?

Looking back through the roles, I'm partly of agreement with septimus concerning the state of the Vampire, in that it belongs to one of the two non-players. Amusingly enough, the other role not being played when it should be is likely to be Vicar.
So, personally, this is likely to mean one of the Warlocks is the Omega Wolf.
This is fine. I also propose the following.
Lynch hirkatbawa
1. He has to be lynched at some point anyway 2. If hirka is not a vicar, then we know that Inner Stickler is lying. The reverse is not true, before anyone asks.
Vote: hirkatbawa

The greatest Gasterdness is that which players inflict on themselves rather than anything we mods can do to them.

If it's any consolation, Cat, I believe you and would Unvote you except that letting you prove your Scotsmanship is better than No Lynch. The fact that two of our "Masons" haven't even come forward to help us make the Day's decision, and are presumably hoping for No Lynch, makes me fear they've all turned into Cabalists. It isn't too late to Lynch Hoopy, if we can get both Warlocks to agree to it.

If I had investigated you or Sister and gotten a town result, that would have not helped me at all. But neither Deon nor Hirka had claimed anything so from an information perspective, it seemed like a more beneficial pool to target, especially given that I figured the witches would already be looking at Sister C. If I had a suspicion who I thought was committing the wolf or vampire kill, I'd of course target them. But I didn't.
Yeah, that would be helpful. Unfortunately, the only scum I found died the night I found her and Pleo obstinately refuses to tell me who the vampire or wolves are. Other than that, your plan is great.

Vote: hoopy frood
The only thing holding me back from thinking you are a killing role is the fact that you've claimed the secret power. The power seems......odd...and your use of it was lousy. You could block non-Town and you chose not to. Even with a very apparent non-Town right in front of you in a counter-claiming warlock. Of course, the Town secret power could have gone away with Ginger or MHaye or Nanook. Obviously the witches didn't have it or you'd already be strung up. And now, you've agreed to lynch CatInASuit assuming he's an omega...which means Sister is what exactly? another Omega? I suppose there could be 2....

Hey man, I voted for both Sister Coyote and CIAS in the same post. Sister Coyote because I know I am a warlock so I suspect she's lying. (I am slightly inclined to benefit of the doubt, however, because I have the secret power and so perhaps pleo made two warlocks so one could be warlocking it up while the other uses the secret power. It's unlikely but I am unwilling to dismiss it entirely.) CIAS gets my vote because the absolute hard-on he has for my lynch and the quickness of his vote to end the day makes me think he'd rather town not talk very much.
I'm sorry I haven't been choosing the right people to target. Next game I'll run all my targets by you for approval.

You had no reason not to. Bad bad bad choice. Of course, it's very unlikely that you actually had the power you describe anyway. And you couldn't have claimed to have blocked Sister, since obviously deaths are still happening.

Gee, you make this game so fun. If you can't stand the pressure, don't make the fake claims.... ;D see, a smiley. I still love you, even if you aren't telling me the truth. If I was 100% sure, I'd want you lynched instead, so obviously I'm not. You're insurance in case the group of you and Sister doesn't contain all of our killers.

If you can't stand the pressure, don't make the fake claims.... If I remember correctly, you suspect me of being the vampire, no? So I'm pretty much on my own with no one to bounce ideas off of. And you seriously think that I would make up this fake role and try to pass it off? That fits your opinion of my playstyle? Really?

If I had investigated you or Sister and gotten a town result, that would have not helped me at all. This is false. Lets show everyone why. - There are 3 players X, Y and Z
- At least one of the three is scum.
- X knows he is town and has a power to tell if one of the other players is scum.
- If X guesses correctly, he will identify a scum, keep the power and probably prevent a NK.
- If X guesses wrongly, he has identifies the other townie member of the group and on the following day can get the scum lynched, although X loses their power.
Sorry Inner Stickler, you claim to have chosen an option which is completely unverifiable at this point in time instead of the exceedingly townie option. Just out of curiousity, why didn't you "investigate" me instead? Oh, and if you had investigated Sister Coyote and she was town, you could have determined who she protected last Night and confirmed your power by naming the protected person in advance of Sis C. Oh, wait you didn't and I don't believe you can.

It isn't too late to Lynch Hoopy, if we can get both Warlocks to agree to it. I'm sorry septimus, I can't let you do that. There are twelve players in the game of which 6 are required to lynch. There are two non-players and four masons, which means all the other players must vote on one mason to lynch one. I do not believe the masons are Cabal and so cannot vote for one as it would be a mislynch. Better that I be confirmed than we mislynch town. Just for note: If I was scum, I would be desperate to lynch into the Mason pool.
