Yes, I would consider Dyar inactive. 1a. I would consider a lot of others inactive too, including Brideofpez, Sharon, and amyliz. 2. I would have subbed them out a long time ago if I could have...but I have run out of subs. I will start subbing in dead players after they die if they are willing to go back in.* *This is sometimes done** **Obviously none of those players will be players who were scum in this game. Pleonast's voting twice, no fair the cassipietz one should be removed

My mistake..I thought today was Saturday. I want to live in your world, where Friday is indistinguishable from Saturday. Of course, this assumes my picture of you sitting on a beach somewhere drinking rum-filled concoctions all day, every day like something out of a Jimmy Buffet song is accurate...

I forgot to mention this before but Susan K Murphy is pinging me too. She seems to post just enough to avoid suspicion but it's all about being a newbie. Of course, she IS a newbie and I forget what it was like to be thrown into one of these games. But it's pinging my scum radar enough to mention.

Day five of this damn flu...but I'm plodding through this when I can. OTOH: it does mean that most people voting for wombat99 using the expecting more than one town will die at Night reason, might need to rethink. Not to snuggle wombat99, but I simply don't understand any suspicion he might be getting for expecting multiple nightkills. We have, what, something like 1,700 players this time? It doesn't take a large stretch of the imagination to figure this game is going to have a high body count. My personal assumption was that scum were going to have two direct nightkills each night, and maybe a two-or-three-shot bonus killer as well. Add in at least two town-based nightkillers to my initial guess as well. Basically, I came in to this thinking that we could consider losing only three townsfolk in a night as a win.

Day is ending in about three and a half hours. LOL!! This scared the crap out of me! I am fairly certain I will be voting for lianne, but I want to review the evidence so I can state my reasons. I do not have time to do that in the next three and a half hours!* It will be tough enough in the next 27.* *minus an hour or two I reckon.

LightFoot's first vote (Day One, Post #296) was on Michele Hunter; "in an effort to get a response to what I posted earlier." What she posted earlier was in post #242: michellehunter appears to be appeased by pleo’s explaination, but does not change her vote. Coming from a player that is not claiming newbie status how I read this The post where she voted she attached a question It appears asked and answered. And left to die? This is a classic scum smudge. It COULD be bussing a fellow scum but this early in the game that seems both unlikely AND unnecessary.

Okay, this is totally Meta so I feel bad mentioning it, but once seen, I can't unsee something.
In post #357 of Day One, DizzyMrsLizzy says TYVM.
Why does this bother me? This is one of Lightfoot's pet phrases, and it's not a phrase I see commonly used.

So over the past couple of pages, several theories on how so many people died Night One have got me thinking... just how DID that happen? The two different explanation/example sites I read (from the links you guys posted) describe that scums can kill one person, and power roles can kill more. Several experienced players believe that scum have more than one kill each night, but some believe that would violate the idea that this is a "basic" game. We've even seen a few theories on which special powers and how many of each could account for the deaths. Going off of Idle's original statement that there will be a high death toll and my minimal understanding of the large number of special powers, it makes sense to me that scum get more than one kill, especially if a doctor or something managed to save someone who was supposed to die. I imagine it's very difficult for the doctor to guess correctly with the number of players, though. Another thought that occurs to me - if the MOD can kill someone during the Day (like laxrules), can they also be responsible for one or more of the Night deaths? Also, do we expect the same number of kills the second (and subsequent) Nights? Or can this vary?
and, sorry. when I started this post I was planning to include quotes from several people who have weighed in on this, but apparently I can't get multiple quotes to work right at the moment and didn't want to only include one.

Amykb, a mod can kill people at night but s/he would always tell you s/he'd done so, like Idle did with Laxrules. If s/he did not, then it would be a gastardly game (gastardly game means you can't trust the moderator), and mods almost always announce that they're running a gastardly game beforehand, otherwise no one would ever play in their games before.
Short version: if Idle modkilled at night, he'd tell us that.

DizzyMrsLizzy, Day One, Post 588. Writes "So at this point who can I vote for today without looking like a total scumbag."
It's primarily scum who care about how they "look" with their vote. As a newbie though I'm not sure you'd know this (newbie town tend to mistakenly believe their job is not to get voted off, when in fact it's to help find scum and sometimes helping to find scum means taking a hit).

richbeckman is pinging me too. A lot of posts that are agreeable with little content. (OT: I went to high school with a Rich Beckman. You're not from NJ, are you?) Lianne's vote on Ed (now me) doesn't bother me because I would find his behavior re Francesca suspicious too if I didn't know he was town.
Cassiepietz appears to have come back to explain why she voted without giving a reason, but she still failed to explain why she voted Ed. Cassiepietz, I'd like to know your reason please.

RichBeckman, LOL, but I'll answer your comment seriously. In a game of this size it's safest and easiest for quite a while for scum to hide. But the best way is to hide in plain sight (post enough so that you look like you're contributing, but don't take many stands). It could be entirely coincidental but that's the feeling I'm getting from you.
Unvote Gadarene
Vote DizzyMrsLizzy
I am still suspicious of both Gadarene and Oldred, but the "TYVM" thing won't let me rest.

especially if a doctor or something managed to save someone who was supposed to die. Is there any reason you say this? Was someone supposed to die but didn't? Are you asking about the multiple deaths or specifically the death of Lightfoot? I was just reading about the powers and trying to figure out which ones might be in the game, and doctor has already been announced (in that post from Idle about doctors, detectives, masons, and unknown roles). If a doctor had saved somebody, that meant yet ANOTHER kill possibility was in the game, so for someone who was expecting to see just one death after Night, it got pretty intense pretty fast. the multiple deaths threw me, nothing specifically about Lightfoot.
