Rugger, would you like to make a full PM role claim? Ehh, why not? I've already revealed pretty much everything in it, though.

Pleo, you have me down as both a peeker voter and a non-voter. I made the same mistake yesterDay. Maybe pleo wasn't wearing his glasses either. ------------------------------------- A question for chucara: So, does this mean that you believe peeker's bizarre assertion that if he had been able to get five posts in a row, the mods would've changed his role? That's the only reason I can imagine that you would find suspicion of peeker "weak". ------------------------------------ As far as Santo's choice of Idle as a redirected target, I don't find that incredibly suspicious. Why not redirect onto someone who is pretty well certain to have protected himself? Idle actually seems like he would've been the best target. ------------------------------ And can someone fill me in on what happened here? I don't really follow games I'm not in.

It's 1am, and I've just read through the Day for a second time.
Sinjin's claim is either true or false. Considering the contents of the claim, and particularly the win condition, if that is a lie intended to make us not lynch her, it's a miserable failure. So I'm assuming, for now, that he claim is true.
If it's true, then she has to go. Sorry Sinjin (and that purple shade is very fetching) but you have to die.
Of course, the badguys, whoever they are, also need you dead. We could leave you alive for a while and hope that you drained the scum; but that runs into the usual problems of trying to steer someone's power; namely that we can't be sure the PM says what we told them to do. And frankly there's not a lot of point in playing along when you know you can't win. Might as well undercut the position of the people who have been most obnoxious to you.
True, Santo's roleclaim offers a way to deal with that; but why should we trust Santo to do what we say? Or even be telling the truth?
I think that I'd be voting Sinjin now, if not for the fact that we're not far from starting the countdown. So I'll put off placing my vote until everyone who's not chipped in has had a chance to add there tuppen'orth.

Sinjin's PM: Santo's PM:
You forgot a few things when you were creating your fake PM, sinjin. First of all, you didn't underline the headings. Second of all, you didn't indent the vital statistics section. Finally, you wrote "Power" instead of "Powers." My PM's formatting and wording matches Santo's and the sample, yours does not. This proves to me beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are lying.

I see no reason not to accept Sinjin's claim - after all, as has been said, if it is a lie to keep her alive - it's a damn shitty lie.
I think if I vote for Sinjin that would put us at 10, so I'll hold off for now, but I fully intend to vote for Sinjin when we won't lose too much of the day.
I know there are lessons to be learnt from past games about the town using or 'wasting' its lynches on PFK's, but with Sinjin's power I don't think we can afford not to.
Just a thought on Santo, in a no-vanilla game, it was very risky to redirect anyone onto a claimed doc. Sure, Santo presumed he would be self-protecting but this is a no-vanilla game - who knows what sort of power Sinjin had? It could very easily be something that could still affect Idle. Was it a simple case of lack of forethought (or having the forethought and not caring) or something a little bit more malicous? Do I think he is scum? - not necessarily - I have no advice either way, but just that it was very risky to do what he did.

Please, I'd like responses to these questions: 1. Is there any particular reason you claimed when you did? I didn't notice any pressure on you. Is it because you investigate as scum? Can you elaborate? 2. Do your feathers cure the Legacy virus, or is it purely preventative? That is will they permanently prevent the infection or will they end the infection after it started? Or both?

And I'll try to be pre-emptive. In the Casinos there is a game called CRAPS. One of the bets is to hit a "hard" number. That is you have to get two threes to make a six or two fours to make an eight, etc. There is no way to make an odd number. That's where the apparent lack of subtlety came in. I can't roll a "hard" five. Mathematically impossible. Therefore a role change is not allowed based on my PM. That is what I was trying to infer. It's impossible for a roll change much like it is impossible to roll a "hard" odd number.

My PM indicates that anyone who mixes there blood with mine via feather is protected for the duration of the game. I don't know what would happen if I target someone who is already infected. Mod question.
What happens if I feather someone after they are already infected?Clear enough?

Now, I don't know why somebody else didn't die last Night, but I'm guessing a scum role blocker and a scum killer both targeted Idle. Either sinjin is one of them, or there were four people that included Idle in their Night actions (including me). Regardless, I think it was a pretty good trade. Risky, maybe, but I think the risk-reward benefit was greater than 1.

You know, I'm not a fantastic player or anything, but I don't think Santo made a bad move here. I think I would've done the same thing, going for the one person who is most likely to be protected. Sure, there could be a scum motivation, but I think the Townie motivation is equal if not greater. I'm not trying to snuggle Santo here, I'm just not seeing his targetting of Idle as a necessarily scummy move, or poor Town play.
