I may have missed it, but I don't think I did...has there been any reply to this semi-claim by Total? This seems like nemesis. After Ragnarok I deserve this. I have to trust you to tell me we have two sets if masons in this game? And since we do, why couldn't I be on the same team as you? Now I have to trust you on this as well Anyway - I'll wait to say more before my "teambuddy" seems okay with a claim. Till then I'll go to sleep IRL and dream sweet dreams of mafia and you all Not a peep

I noted the semi-claim in my files, but I'm not really sure how much there is to say about it, until we hear from her partner, or fail to hear from her partner in a situation where we really should.

Finished my initial re-read. Funniest posts of the Day: Unvote me, Chronos, I'm contributing to the discussion. Wait! maybe I have some weird power where Chronos must do my bidding! Bark like a seal, Chronos! I blew it there, didn't I? No, it's just ice cream. Having fun? Vote Drain BeadI'm busy on the weekends. Please refrain from voting until I have time to make a substantive post. I'm reading, but I hate to post any longer than this on my iPad. Ok, I like any good worker in corporate America, I spent the first 90 minutes of my workday catching up on this thread. Please refrain from voting until I have time to make a substantive post. What an odd thing to say. But in case it works, yeah, I can I ask people to please refrain from voting for me until further notice as well? And as a point of reference, the reaction that Hal is now getting is along the lines of what I thought Chronos' play would have triggered. In hindsight, it is like comparing a candle-lit dinner to three hookers with blow and a dominatrix midget knocking on your door when it comes to foreplay.

Has Guiri been absent? Just noticed he ended the Day with a vote on me, and I don't remember him participating in the Pleo/Tex runoff.

Just to clarify - I can't be 100% certain that my partner knows who I am. It can be presumed based on the colour of my Role. But I have no way of knowing for sure. However I know my partner and know it's a townie for certain. So I could be able to give town a confirmed player upon my death. That's why I wanted to share toNight. Because if I was NK'ed it would benefit Town if I shared the name toNight. I wanted to make this clear earlier but a funeral and being sick kept me from posting this sooner. For that I am sorry.

Noting that I've read up to this point, finally. Middle of my work week + designing my other game + hosting my other other game.
No comment on the massive volume of posts. Frankly you folks are doing a heck of a job without my involvement. Less posts might actually be a good thing.

He knows but is unsure why you decided this was the time to spill the beans. Mostly because TexCat has the ability to kill and seem very certain to look for the victim among the players voting TexCat yesterDay. We both did and that means there was a 20% risk of it being you or me. Secondly because if we did respond to Peekers "claim" we would likely be less trusted as townies if/when we needed to claim. I am sorry if you feel I have pushed you into this claim. But I do like the special WIFOU that Scum have to drink when it comes to NK masons and the result that will lead to a confirmed Townie

From my notes AFTER Pleo stated that he would take Ed with him. Votes for Texcat Drain Scat Mahaloth Inner Chronos Rysto Dirx
--- Texcat claims-- Unvotes for Texcat Drain Scat
Votes for Texcat MHaye Pleo
I have a feeling there is something there but I'm not certain what ( obviously since I noted it)

I will point out that, even before Pleo said that he'd take Ed with him, I was of the opinion that we shouldn't lynch him. I didn't vote strategically to save him at that point, because at that point, it didn't look like it was necessary yet. And most of the votes for TexCat came only after her possible PiS concerning Hal ( Wouldn't it be easier for scum to vote for Hal?). There wasn't all that long between that post of hers and Pleo stating that he would kill Ed, and the only person on Lightfoot's list who posted at all in that interval was scathach. And at the time of Pleo's announcement, TexCat only had two votes, so she wasn't exactly an overwhelming choice for an alternate bandwagon. If Hal is Town, it would have been much easier for Scum to pile onto him, and even if he's not, it would have been nearly as easy to build a new bandwagon completely from scratch.

Actually, dawn will be delayed, probably by a very substantial amount. An issue has arisen and I am trying to work out how to address it. Please do not expect Dawn until tomorrow.

Do you have a cut off time for changing night actions? Incase some people were wating til the the last minute for any reason?

OK, I could try to game the whole end-of-Night timing thing, but I'm not going to. I think we've got all the acrostics we're going to get, so I'll reveal my information now. From my PM:
Hopefully, this isn't the fake role that Special Ed was using (the character Jervis Tetch is an inventor, but he doesn't seem well-suited for the Mafia use of that term), in which case we might eventually catch another Scum from this.

First, a rant. There were a few complaints that I waited too late to claim. When I went to sleep Wednesday night, and granted that I went to sleep early because I had a long workday on Thursday, Pleo was still way ahead of me in votes. When I awoke Thursday morning, I saw that I was in trouble, and I claimed. If Town wants claims earlier, Town should vote earlier. Second, a threat. Tonight I am targeting someone who I think is scum. If I manage to survive until tomorrow night, I am seriously considering targeting a lurker or absent player. Yes, I am looking at you, Archangel. If anyone ends the day without having a vote down, I will probably target them.

I'll trust that the cut off applies as well Has Guiri been absent? Just noticed he ended the Day with a vote on me, and I don't remember him participating in the Pleo/Tex runoff. I'm pretty sure there was a post towards the end of Day One about him being sick. Speaking of guiri He did say he was quite ill Then he said Has Hal claimed anything beyond posting the standard town wincon? and then.. Did this ping anyone else? Pleo, have you changed your Day action? Because it set off alarms in my head.

I'm not Storyteller, but if I were modding, I would either extend the deadline to coincide with the new Dawn, or I'd ask players to curb discussion during the "dead zone" time during which no actions can be submitted.
So I'd keep that in mind.

Since we can talk anytime, I don't see why we should " shush" But if Night actions can be changed now . after the origional deadline. that could change the type of conversations

It would strike me as potentially unfair. Claiming something critical as close to deadline as possible is a valid tactic, but if there's a gap between action-submition deadline and End-of-Night deadline, then a player can take advantage of that gap to claim something without fear of repercussions that Night at all.
