What sucks about this is that the scum was doing SO well until now. It was actually going to be a close game. *cry*
Oh, well. At least a new one will be starting soon.

I don't know. I think the fallout from Cookies's clam (once she is finally lynched) is going to be fairly substantial. People are going to go back and reexamine all the claimes made up until this point. And WTF is very far under the radar. I think it will still be close.

Well, I thought Cookies and whoever else was looking for River should have figured it out on Day One when Hal blabbed about being visited in the night. But apparently I have too much info. We knew we were looking for River, but it didn't occur to us that others may also be looking for River. In fact, we crossed Hal off the "River" list, because I thought he was the Vigilante! (At least I was half right about that)

OY! I want to slap the scum so hard! CK wants to get himself killed because it will reveal him as Mingo and clear Cookies. He has said this so many times that I started to wonder what his role PM had said, if it was clear. Yup it is, Character: HOB #2 Now it does say that he can assume the role of Mingo, but that doesn't mean that he IS Mingo. VEY! Well, it says that in order to move unobtrusively among the citizens, I have assumed the identity of Mingo. To me, that really sounds like people think I am Mingo, i.e. I am disguised as Mingo. Even if I'm just calling myself Mingo, I would have thought that, on death, it would be revealed that "Mingo was actually HoBG#2" or similar. It's a bit unfortunate that the whole hunting-the-twin-gone-bad plan was doomed from the start, on that misunderstanding.

Storyteller... I hope you had fun with my posts. I actually was suspicious of you for most of the second Day, but after I became convinced you were town, I kind of had to keep it up to meet my ends. As for my play... I'm very happy that I was right about Drain Bead, Pygmy Rugger, and Ui. At least the other two scum (besides Pygmy) were on my list. I even called out Roosh on his fake claim. Good play to Cookies, she had me fooled... but based on the role, it would have unraveled in her face when mingo was found. Overall, I'm fairly happy. Do we get to ask who killed us and why? Sure. You got scum killed because they thought you were the vig. Actually, we thought Spiff/Picard was the Doctor.

I think we are experiencing SDMB Mafia fatigue. Pleonast's game is lacking in the participation department as well. It's actually kind of funny from a last minute lynching of a random person sort of deal; but I'm guessing not so much fun for the one who gets it in the end. I'm kind of worried about that myself, particularly in light of the fact that I'm next up to mod at this site and I'm almost literally hopping up and down in excited anticipation. Is there going to be anyone left to play? I'm interested in playing. I'm definitely hoping for a simpler game...

I gotta say, Klutz that I was kinda upset to see you get killed. I would've loved to see you try that Joss Whedon roleclaim!

Why the hell did Pygmy do that? Ok fair enough the writing is on the wall, but still.
Actually, I can see his point. He jumps on the grenade today, that leaves Cookies alive for an extra day, so tonight the scum get their normal night kill plus leaves Cookies an extra night to get at River, so they get two kills tonight. (Except if River hides, which the scum don't know she can do)

Pygmy needs a custom title that says MC Hammer.

It's only on death that the masquerade is revealed.

KatNAF, I'm dead now. Maybe it's time to restore the missing Day 1 posts. Unless the game won't last long enough to make it worthwhile...

Whew, I made it! Where do I start?
I would have tried to role claim to get myself out of it, but I didn't really think it would work. As mentioned above, I thought it was more important to try and make the best of the situation by sacrificing myself in order to try taking out Hal. Interesting that he has a hiding ability.
Concerning lynching dotchan the second time, her story really did seem to have plenty of holes in it. I still don't understand why she tried investigating others after she knew who River was, and why she wasn't told after the first Night of trying that it wouldn't work.
Concerning Roosh, when he mentioned that CK and wtf were scum for not having voted for scum. I really didn't understand what he meant. When BlaM called me out on it, I didn't think that I had taken the context out of the situation, and the entire post was still there for the viewing. And what I -really- didn't get, is why people weren't suspicious of BlaM when Roosh came up with a completely -different- reason for the "slip".
When Cookies mentioned the scum investigator, I pounced on it for three reasons. First, others would see it too. Second, it'd gain me a bit of town creed if she were lynched because of it. And Third, I was trying to play as townie as possible.
Minus the hammering, of course. But I'm surprised that nobody discussed (I think it was mentioned briefly) that my third hammer was for a scum. I wasn't going to mention it, for it would have seemed like I knew beforehand that that was the case.

Well she (CaerieD not dot) asked if she could keep investigating. We said it was fine by us. So she kept looking and getting River/Not River. I think she might have done this in case someone like Dio was watching her, but I don't really know. But I think it was Caerie's continued investigation that confused Dot into thinking that she might be able to get more juice from her role.

Pygmy, welcome to the other side.
I thought you made a good attempt to wriggle out of it. And I really liked the self hammer!
The Roosh thing was interesting. I don't know why nobody else seemed to notice it, or cared about BlaM's mis-explanation of it. Weird.

poor mtgman. He has an analysis ready and everything, and he just lost his coin flip for the 50% protection. He is not going to be around in the morning.

Wow, Idle protected mtgman? Did he say why? No, he protected River, mtgman has a 50% protection from Night kills as the survivor...but it failed for him the first time he was attacked. Such is life.

Roosh just had a good post, I didn't realize he was Atarus's backup until after I read it in here after I read his night post the first time.
"If Atarus had checked him out, he'd have been clean", referring to me. I think it was a brilliant breadcrumb!
ETA: Especially since that's the kind of thing Roosh probably would have said, anyway.
