@ Guiri: My D2 #257 post was a result of my first reading after I subbed in. My "(?)" for FCoD was specifically as it applied to the people who voted for Archangel. I know. FCoD's vote on Archangel stood out and earned him 3 votes on Day 1. He was the lynch leader on Day 2 when you joined. You posted 6 times before he claimed and didn't comment in any way on his play (#250, 254, 257, 267, 268, 280) until after his claim when there was little hope for him. As I said in D3 #190, I voted for Burby because I felt he was trying to spread the WIFOM too thickly. Added italics to relevant section: Personally, I think that Suburban Plankton was really trying to spread the WIFOM, in the absolute truest sense of the phrase. I know he might have been joking, but it just seems too over-the-top, to me. Perhaps he might have needed a smiley face there. Regardless of whether or not Burby was joking, I'm not buying his case on Septimus. I'm also getting seriously pinged Guiri for the same case.

I'm very tempted to vote for you over him or Julie (net negative feeling, but so very little to go on) Let's not go there again, please. If you vote for Høøpy Frøød, I'm going to start believing that you do have to vote for some many people per Day.

I'm very tempted to vote for you over him or Julie (net negative feeling, but so very little to go on) purely as a check on *Guiri* -- the guy has such divine town instincts and hasn't actually caught a scum yet. Yeah. I poked, prodded and smudged FCoD 8 times in two Days but somehow missed the opportunity to jump on either of his bandwagons to earn me some Town cred, what a loser!

Ed and Guiri both -- Guiri -- Did you really (about FCOD)? I honestly hadn't noticed; I've been taking you more or less for granted since day one and it's only since thinking Septimus is town that the paranoia has started to creep back. Assuming you did, that helps. Is this the appropriate time to point out that Storyteller voted for me on day two before he had to back off to hop on the bus that was driving over FCOD? Joanie's vote has me rather at a loss. I understand SP's vote; I understand Ed's; but this one? She had me as probable town just yesterday, and this is about the fourth time she's promised something more substantive coming up soon, up to now failing to deliver. On top of that, it's the third vote on me and seems to be the bandwagon of the moment, at least in a superficial sense. It's just so brazen I can barely credit it. unvote vote: Joanie I guess?

<== passes ED a 3 for a dollar
3 For A Dollar Special
Ingredients to use: 2 each Lime 0.5c up Sugar 4 oz Triple Sec 8 oz Vodka 0.75 cup Water 3 each Mango
Directions: Mix together with crushed ice in a glass and garnish with mint leaves
I am feeling pretty good about ed, Suburban Plankton, septimus, and mental. Their stories seem to be adding up to something that makes sense. So until I see something that doesn't add up I will not be voting for them....
Vote: Renata
Mainly for vote hoping.. You have voted for more people more quickly than I can keep track of.

I have to go out shortly, though I'll be back before the end. As things stand, with plenty of reasons for people to believe in my innocence* and the votes against me being of the nature they are**, I am not going to make a claim. Besides Julie I would happily support a lynch of (more so) BobArrgh or (less so) gnarlycharlie, would vote scuzzlebutt or a lurker to save myself, and don't believe that SP or Septimus should be lynched.
*Starting the bandwagon on FCOD yesterday, arguing in defense of his main competitor for the lynch (LightFoot), and so on. Being voted by Storyteller yesterday.
** One OMGUS vote, one paranoia vote, and one whatisthisIdon'teven vote.

Vote: Captain Pinkies
Was feeling suspicious of you (and that's my gut talking, so no, I don't have specific examples) anyway, but the accusation against Renata of vote hopping from someone who barely votes at all and often provides little to no argument for their own votes really bothers me.
Vote hopping is not a Scum tell -- and every time I've been lynched for it I've been Town.

Since MentalGuy has posted his complete PM, there's no sens in me holding back any of mine, since the part I redacted is almost word for word what was in his...
My full PM:
A couple things to note:
I have no idea how I would receive clues to help me find Daphne. I also have no idea how I would go about 'rescuing' her. That information is not in my PM. I didn't ask Julie earlier, because of the "This will all make more sense if her kidnapping happens" clause in my PM, but I have now sent her a PM with these questions. I'll let you know if I get an answer.
Also, let me be the first to note that it's not unthinkable that the Scum (or possible a 3rd-party 'Kidnapper') also received the same list of rooms that MentalGuy and I did. In fact, at this point I'd surmise that the Kidnapper(s) have the same list of rooms and are going through them trying to find the one that Daphne is in so that they can nab her. kidnap her.

Speaking of Snacks and suburban, I'll repeat my earlier offer: First demonstrate Towniness with Snack transfers, then I'll consider lifting my Lynch vote. See, I don't react well to threats and ultimatums (ultimata?). Especially from someone that may quite possible be Scum. How exactly is it necessarily "Townie" for me to transfer Snacks to another person? What if I need all the Snacks I can get in order to rescue Daphne? I have no idea if that's the case, or how it would work if it is...my point is that I don't know what use the Snacks have, and neither do you (as far as you have claimed), so I'm not sure why I should respond to your threats

I have received a reply to my recent PM to Julie
I asked:
And her reply:
Now you all know everything I know.
No, wait...you don't.
I currently have 15 Scooby Snacks. I received 2 to start the game, 5 at the beginning of Day 2, 3 at the beginning of Day 3, and the 5 I have received from other players. I don't know the reason, if any, that I received different amounts of Snacks each Day.
Now you all know everything I know.

My vote on Renata was weak. I wouldn't normally have cast that vote, but I wanted to see the reaction.
it is true thatI'm pinged by her approach to the game so far, but that's all it really is.
I was interested in seeing the reaction to my vote.
At this point I'd be happy lynching Joanie or Captain Pinkies. My vote is on Captain Pinkies because that pulls him into a tie.
Id like to hear players express their viewpoint of the vote swings from septimus to suburban and from suburban to Renata.

While I am a bit worried that Septimus may be trying to pull one over on us, his claim is plausible and I don't want to just have a one-off vote.
Unvote: Septimus
I did not like the building bandwagon on Renata. I don't know that she is town, but the cases made for voting her so far have been weak.
I also don't like Captain Pinkies "show up and vote for the current bandwagon" show. So I will
Vote: Captain Pinkies
My second choice right now would be Bob based on his actions during the FCOD lynch and his reaction to seeing the results of last night.
My internet connection has been squirrelly this morning, so I don't know if I will be on any more before end of Day or not.

I'm getting a little tired of all of the 'self-voting' in this game.
Frankly. I don't know who to suspect the most at this point.
I'm beginning to reluctantly think that Special Ed might actually be Daphne, though I still can't stop this niggling feeling in the back of my brain that he's sitting behind his desk laughing at all of us...
I'm still torn on septimus, especially because threats regarding redistribution of Scooby Snacks.
I think 'd like to see Renata lynched based solely on the fact that she's single-handedly turned my spreadsheet into a nightmare with all of her votes, unvotes, and revotes. I need to try to go back over them and see if I can decipher the meaning behind all of it.
Pinkies and Joanie both keep popping into the thread to drop off a vote then popping out again before they have a chance to add any analysis.
LightFoot has made two different one-off 'lynch the lurker' votes Today, neither of which really moved the discussion along.
And there are half a dozen other people about whom I have even less of a clue...
We've got just under 2 hours left in the Day. I'm going to try to come up with a 'good' vote in the next hour.

Neville Strangeways, Topiary-Watcher Normal people don't want to hang about in topiaries all Night, but you're not exactly normal, are you? You're Neville Strangeways, the nephew of the owner and you love gardens, and shrubberies, and kangaroos, and shrubberies that look like kangaroos.
Anyone who enters or leaves Hotel Strangeways passes right by your kangaroo topiary. Sometimes, you get to hear a little something as they go, something they didn't stop to tell anyone else. And sometimes this information is very valuable to Town, which makes it valuable to you since you (and your kangaroo) are Town. You win when all of the Scum are unmasked.
just so you know who you are lynching.....

Seriously? The dialog today in my mind has confirmed town verse finding scum. In my book that is a good thing.. I have no idea what you mean by this. No kidding. (snip self vote) I'd still rather lynch Joanie than you. The more time passes since her vote on me without any additional comment, the less likely it actually had anything behind it that would remotely justify band-wagoning someone she said she thought was town barely 24 hours previously.
