First things first
match pace with Archangel
I was about to come in and drop a vote on moodymitchy for his 'slip' stating that Archangel as Town, but apparently that was a bad idea too.
I'm tempted to vote for Captain Pinkies now just to get it over with, but I really have no specific reason to think he's Scum. If it were up to me, I'd leave him alone Today and hope that our Vig takes him out Tonight.
Circumstances have conspired to leave me with only a few minutes online tonight, so I don't have time at the moment to decide on another suspect to vote for, so that will have to wait for the morning.

Ed, you're claiming Vanilla (Wrangel Island Lemming)?
Regardless of the answer to that question, I find your theory interesting but by no means anywhere close to proven. We must proceed with great caution if we are to assume it to be fact.

Did you claim earlier or is this just to lend support to your theory? Just to support my theory.

Just to add more zaniness to the fray: Here are Wikipedia's 5 lemmings from the genus lemmus: I am a Wrangel Island Lemmin Lemmus Amur Lemming (Lemmus amurensis) [/li][li]colby11 [/li][li] [/li][/ul] Norway lemming (Lemmus lemmus) Siberian Brown Lemming (Lemmus sibiricus) [/li][li]Texcat [/li][li] [/li][/ul] North American Brown Lemming (Lemmus trimucronatus) Wrangel Island Lemming (Lemmus portenkoi) [/li][li]Silver Jan [/li][li]Special Ed [/li][/ul] If my hypothesis is correct (and it's based on Meeko being systematic or at least symmetrical), then there would be 3 of each type of lemming, and 1 of them would be Scum. Which, of course, leads me to beleive that Silver Jan would be Scum. (as an aside, this causes me tremendous guilt as I'm currently pushing to lynch her in another game)
I am pained to ask " How does that help?" except that by your theorie either you or Jan Is Scum . If Jan flips Town you are painted?

I kind of hope it's not because then couldn't we find the scum by doing a vanilla role claim? The ten vanillas would all claim their correct genii and the scum would be left without a place to hide. Of course, they could have cover roles but if the cover role is just another genus, then we'll have double ups. Yes, and the more I think about it, the more I have to hope that Meeko wasn't so symmetrical. Maybe he just randomly assigned us all to different lemmings and we might have 4 of one, 5 of another, none of a third, etc. But I did suggest this as possible and point out that a full claim would open the game up for an easy Town victory.

And what do you suppose we should do, should a lynch of Silver Jan turn up town? Lynch you as the other possible scum in the wrangel group? Basically, how married are you to this theory?

...sigh... I truly thought he was scum. I completely missed the clues left by lightfoot and moodymitchy. I think I am out of my league -lol- I would never had thought to leave clues like that. That was a clever way to verify yourselves.
I was so excited to finally have a vote down... going back to reread.

Usually, a breadcrumb like that is not meant to be picked up by casual perusers but is meant rather to be used by one mason to verify their masonry in the event that the other mason cannot confirm. Ok, ed. That sounds good to me. I agree that it is an appealing format and am more than happy to simply fill in the squares for now.

yes, but they'd both have to die.
because the surviving one can always point to the posts that confirm them.
Masons usually die eventually anyway. At this point, the Scum have to either kill them or continue hunting for the doctor.
If they kill them, we'll get at least 3 more investigations.
If they continue hunting for the doctor, they'll still be alive once they find him and kill fubble.

typing while drinking a bit. You now have 2 confirmed Town [if mitchy stops by I guess]( one of which may not survive the Night) Voting patterns and comments MAY help Town ferret out Scum . tis the job . I didn't want a miss-lynch if I could help it

Match Pace Archangel
@ Lightfoot sorry for this coming out earlier than we might have liked but, thanks for pointing it out to the masses..
Strange how you appear to be the only one who noticed my mention that my vote could change and that I was hoping to hear more from fubbleskag.
The information he has now given us was indeed what I was hinting at because he said he would not interfere with lynch unless it looked to him that a TOWN player was going to die.
To all the rest of you...
I NEVER stated I knew Archangel was TOWN.
I said it was possible that SCUM were amongst the non voters and were happy to sit back and watch because they would KNOW that both of us were TOWN and wouldn't mind either way which one died.
Which makes me suspicious of Deni right now.... very little participation toDay (ok that's not a crime) but very quick to jump on me when she thinks she's spotted an easy lynch.

It appears I have to put a stop to this before we end up at EOD scrambling for a lynch candidate. moodymitchy is NOT who you want to lynch. He IS TOWN. Sorry about that. Match pace moodymitchyYes, and the more I think about it, the more I have to hope that Meeko wasn't so symmetrical. Maybe he just randomly assigned us all to different lemmings and we might have 4 of one, 5 of another, none of a third, etc. This and the possibility that there are exactly 3 of each but not necessarily 1 scum of each type. I was so excited to finally have a vote down... going back to reread. Another re-read? I said it was possible that SCUM were amongst the non voters and were happy to sit back and watch because they would KNOW that both of us were TOWN and wouldn't mind either way which one died. Which makes me suspicious of Deni right now.... very little participation toDay (ok that's not a crime) but very quick to jump on me when she thinks she's spotted an easy lynch. Agreed on both counts. Deni's vote on moodymitchy for his "slip" looks opportunistic, she confirmed it even after SpecialEd pointed out how it wasn't a slip. She hasn't given us much more to go on short of plenty of promises to contribute: D1#9 - metagame question about jsexton points to SpecialEdD1#13 - metagame comment about wiki to SpecialEdD1#171 - oog, forgot she was playing, will catch up - No vote, no further posts, no comment on any lynch candidate D2#18 - oog comment on availability, to InnerStickler, Fubbleskag should keep results to himself unless to prevent a lynch D2#21 - ditto to LightfootD2#23 - ditto to moodymitchyD2#90 - metagame comment to JustBeingGinger about voting for PinkiesD2#106 - to SilverJan, has been busy, is catching up, thinks SilverJan opened a can of worms, has thoughts but doesn't want to share they yet - No vote, no further posts, no comment on any lynch candidate D3#10 - oog, will be more active D3#156 - has re-read, overwhelmed, comments on Colby (left no clues), TexCat (no clues), Archangel (torn), SuburbanPlankton (why out a town power?), Archangel (why still alive? easy target) D3#193 - to SilverJan, was busy D3#194 - to me, suspects Colby's mention of moodymitchy was a newbie scum slip D3#196 - thanks fubbleskag for heads up on ArchangelD3#197 - votes moodymitchy for "slip" D3#199 - neta to correct vote, no comment on SpecialEd's explanation of moodymitchy's supposed "slip" D3#217 - unvotes, hadn't noticed Lightfoot's breadcrumbs, will re-read CatInASuit's vote on Suburban still looks suspicious and opportunistic given the alternative lynch candidate. He hasn't given us much more to go on. D1#70 - checks in D1#72 - comments on role distribution, asks SpecialEd why he's questioning Meeko, agrees with Fubbleskag's claim (if that what it is), suggests pinging CaptainPinkies (he never replied to Lightfoot's question about this post in D1#82 and again in D2#24) D1#183 - oog - No vote, no further posts, no comments on the cases of the Day D2#123 - Apologizes, will reread D2#125 - questions SpecialEd about his vote for CaptainPinkies, asks InnerStickler why Fubbleskag shoudl reveal, doesn't like Archangel's magic bag, comments on CaptainPinkies's lack of participation, puts Colby second on a list of players suspicious for wanting Fubbleskag to reveal results, will re-read D2#182 - compares Colby and SuburbanPlankton, votes SuburbanPlankton for misstating his place on the Trepa lynch, calls both votes fundamental in Trepa's lynch - this vote stands out as he lists plenty of suspicious things about both but votes Suburban based on a misunderstanding? of a comment about the vote count at a specific point in time, something that was easily verifiable and not likely an intentional lie) D3#162 - is around, will catch up tomorrow (today) D3#163 - acknowledges mistake in vote, voted Suburban for lying about his place in the Trepa lynch - I still maintain this is a very weak reason to vote, why lie about something that is so easily verified? I have no read on Storyteller so far. He seemed to be going somewhere on D1 with his question about Trepa's PM but disappeared, he disappeared again D2, I hope D3 is better for him. D1#71 - is happy with Fubbleskag's claim, thinks there are 5 scum, gives me modest pro-town points D1#90 - comments on the game being only partially open, would rather not spend the game harassing the mod for information D1#124 - points out error in vote count D1#281 - explains why scum may not want to sway the vote away from a scummy TrepaD1#282 - double post D1#283 - asks SilverJan if her PM is identical to Trepa's D1#285 - to me, who pointed out that she said it sounded similar, wants to know if it's identical - No vote, no comment on cases D2#114 - oog, will catch up - No vote, no further posts D3#134 - apologizes for absence, doesn't understand why Fubbleskag shouldn't reveal, hopes CaptainPinkies is not a power role, is suspicious of case against Archangel, will review Outrun DeniFor attempting to stay under the radar, posting while not contributing to the hunt for scum or commenting on any cases, not voting 2 Days in a row, not wanting to share thoughts, her opportunistic vote and broken promises. I'd be happy with a lynch of CIAS too.
