Let me present it to you this way.
Let’s say Joe tracked Fred on Tuesday and I saw him visit Wilma Wilma wakes up dead Wednesday Joe accuses Fred of killing Wilma Barney posts- "well, I have some theories but I'm not going to share it until we hear from Fred"
Fred keeps his scummy Wilma-killing trap shut and no one discusses the various implications of the Tracking results and instead decide to lynch the newbie Townie who is confused by their role and admits to also having visited Wilma.

Out of all of that, you have some knowledge of dizzymrslizzy, but what knowledge do you have that indicates she is Scum?[/quote <snipped> well the way i see it she either was one of more than one or one of one. either that or she was just going through my stuff, being dead and shit. that's equally as tacky. Is it not possible that she is a Town Vig? i don't think i suggested otherwise. if meeko is to be believed apparantly she was at the place where a body turned up. now certainly that could be just a vig firing wildly into the crowd. but i don't know that she has made that claim.

now it all leads to an interesting situation. wilma can say aw shucks, i am a town vig and just misfired (of course, that may be open for debate depending on your feelings towards 3rd parties). that, of course, just opens up a whole can of whoop ass on her from the scum team. or she gets counter claimed and frankly a town vig for a scum or liar is a pretty good trade. or she doesn't and meeko watches her in which case the scum go after meeko who, naturally, will be protected.

Day 1 Final Vote Count Day 2 Final Vote Count Day 3 Final Vote Count Inner, might I suggest that you use different colours to differentiate between hostile and nonhostile third parties? There's an important difference, namely that the latter group doesn't need to be killed or offed by the Mafia and the former does. Cheers. While I'm typing, my PC has been sulking today - I was unable to read anything online until about 8pm this evening, and it's hung and needed a restart about three times since then. I probably need to replace it. I should, assuming it works tomorrow, be able to finish reading Day 4. It does mean I haven't looked at Lightfoot's vote for me. More later. I hope.

My question to Meeko is why are you targeting me? You yourself said that I was not alone visiting Peekers. 1- I did not kill anyone. I DO NOT have a killing role. Did I leave my room N1. Absolutely...But I didn't kill, bite, poison, curse, etc, anything that caused his death. There are quite a few other roles I can be, I think it's in Town's best interest for me to hold my cards and not reveal what I have at the moment. 2- Yes I am Half Jewish and was at services for 16 hours during the time span of Night 1. I was offline for the majority of that time, but as I said, I wasn't really around at all. There's no reason for me to lie. I wasn't 100% gone, but at the same time I'm having major problems with the board on my phone (as I posted the other day) 3- Meeko to answer your other claim about me asking too many questions about the Nexus. I had absolutely no clue what the Nexus was and what it did. I'm still pretty sketchy on what it is. But based on this site: wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Nexus_(Role) (which was all I could find on the internet regarding the Nexus) I was able to deduce that it has something to do with redirecting a kill. I was giving Inner a hard time D2 because he was trying to convince people that Peekers was the Nexus, but I didn't, and still don't understand how Peekers would have died N1 if he was the Nexus especially when he didn't leave his room!! -OOG-3- I know I've been less active the last couple of real life days. I had ANOTHER IRL situation come up, and I just started a new job. I have not and I will not be on much until I figure out how to balance my parenting job, work job, and play time better, because right now I feel like I'm being pulled in a 100 directions. I know real convenient....but it's really out of my hands for now since I have zero internet access at work. -/OOG-

Ok, this game is driving me crazy. I don't have a real feel for what is going on. I think there are a lot of 3rd parties both hostile and non-hostile, which I kind of stated previous to this when I drank the kool-ade and thought maybe there were no scum. Parzival's reveal squashed that.
I think that's why there is very little talk and low participation from many players, myself included. I just don't know where to go.
Meeko: why aren't you telling us your other results? That just seems weird to me. It's day 4 and you have painted a target on your back by coming out toDay. Withholding your "results" seems weird in a game that is weird already.
Cookies is scaring me because she is so freely coming to the defense of other players. She scammed me entirely by coming to my defense in the Firefly game. So based on that alone, because everyone seems to be playing things so close to the vest:

Also interesting how there is apparently controversy (at least in sinjin's mind) in me being vocal about cases stinking against other players while in Gnarly's mind I shy away from controversy. Another data point on the lynch the loud. If I had a nickle for every game where I point out how people are voting for me for apparently inverted reasons...

Weird against weird is...... Normal right? Again, I am a watcher, I have no evidence in and of itself that directly states X is a killer. It's not very much to go on. Wouldn't you sit on information for a while if you had it? Detectives are asked time and again to reveal at around three results. I have less certainty than detectives do, and this is a gastard game. To answer dizzy..... I have made my case, and your actions at the time you made them still stand, and still ping me. I have placed breadcrumbs, and have Parz's post In which he (as far as I can tell) got my name. In so many words, I feel I needed to act today, and I acted on the best information I have. I'm not scum - so the target has always been on my back. I have no more of a target on my back than anyone else. In fact I do believe we have a few players that have made a full claim aren't they more at risk than I am?

I was going to draw this out, and I was going to support what I am about to say with a post. Going back to re-read the post I am using to support my assertion, I found another post directly under it. Re-reading the second post there has quickened me to move my gambit along. TOWN ( At large, because as a matter of fact, I do believe there are only a few number of non-third party townies alive.) I am a Watcher. I happen to be Third Party. I split the lines here, lest you think I can only watch third parties. I have been watching what I considered to be high value targets. Some of these are obvious. As for night 1, I watched Peeker. A few people targeted Peeker on Night 1, and one of them was Dizzy. At first I was not certain what to make of this post : www.idlemafia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=poll&thread=2047&page=4#98523In which Dizzy states she was offline for Jewish Holidays. There are many levels here. On the surface, we can take her at her word, that she was inactive. This is completely against the result of my night one watching. One interpretation here is to say that Dizzy is mis-directing. I believe she is lying. On the deeper level, I think it is a matter of "The guilty dog barks." That is to say, I think Dizzy found it necessary to "over-clean" the crime scene. I don't know Peeker, but I think his place is like mine, and he has a few empty soda cans around the place. Dizzy here is trying to whistle nonchalantly while cleaning up the place, discarding the cans. I believe that Dizzy NK'd peeker on night 1. I believe everything that came after that, on Early Day 2 is an attempt in misdirection. My result watching of Peeker states that Dizzy was at least targeting Peeker on night 1.
But then, I saw the second post: www.idlemafia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=poll&thread=2047&page=4#98524This being the post that comes after my supporting post above. This post has the quickening agent. ::: How does Peeker's death have anything to do with a nexus ability (if I'm understanding it correctly)? Wouldn't he have been able to redirect the kill then? Read more: www.idlemafia.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=poll&thread=2047&page=4#98524#ixzz29IFHx7QWThis seems to be the final turn in a police procedural, the one question too far, that only the murder can ask. No one is going to ask this quesstion, unless they are intimately involved in the crime. It's not a commonplace question, because common people aren't going to ask it. Again, another case of guilty dog barking. Nobody else thought to ask the question here. Nobody else did the deed. That's all I'm saying. My vote on Dizzy stands.

Anyway, we're about that point where we should cease the nomination process and begin choosing a candidate for deathification.
Given there seems to be a huge number of folks forced to attack peeker N1, it follows that dizzy may have other powers and was also forced to target the peekermobile.
I do not find Meeko's conclusion to be wholly without merit, but I also find dizzy's explanation to be plausible. As such, I could go either way.
I get the feeling I'm either the townie fly in dizzy's mafia soup, and/or she just doesn't grok my playstyle. Either way I am ambivalent about her death, and not totally convinced about Meeko's case, or the necessity of outing himself in order to point the finger at dizzy, especially when he would have also seen others there.
I have this to offer: I concur with the esteemed Cookies. Sinjin's vote smells wrong to me.
SisterCoyote: I get the feeling you are playing a certain part too well. Playing it safe, hiding in plain sight, so to speak. I'm interested to know what you've been up to behind the scenes.
Merestil Haye. I look forward to hearing more from you. I feel like you've got more to add to this game and I want to see what it is.

Next: A question. What info do we want today? Scum, Town, Recruitable third parties? I think I know what I want, but I'd like to know what you (all) want. I might ignore you, but feel free to make a case to sway my opinion. Two options. 1. Number of Town. There's some uncertainty over whether Pleo and/or Wombat99 started Town or was recruited. A second snapshot of Town numbers might enable us to work it out by seeing how the number has changed. (It might not; we don't know what happened N3 and that might mask the answer. But it would give more data.) 2. Number of hostile Third Parties. That will give us an idea of the risk of letting a known third party run free. The downside is that these answers are useful to almost everybody, because they give data to both Town and Mafia (assuming that the Mafia also have to eliminate hostile third parties in addition to Town. Post-Next: More info (Thanks to who ever gave me the bump). Inner Stickler and BillMc are not recruitable third parties. They could be town, scum or third party, but they are not both recruitable and third party at the same time. Does that make sense? Is that true for them individually or as a group? Post-Post Next: I want to lynch Ginger again. Also, if she comes up scum then I want to lynch storyteller. I still want to lynch crys too. I'd advise against lynching Ginger again right now. I'm aware of only one unlynchable role in the history of this little group (and another potential one, although that was never realised.) Both were Town. Also, both were / would have been unlynchable for the entirety of the game, not just as a one-off. Mafia-aligned Scotsmen have had very poor feedback. How an unlynchable Mafiate would be received can only be imagined. It's seriously gamebreaking if a Mafiate can be dealt with by only one role and that role is lost early on - basically the Town then cannot win no matter what they do. At this point I would support a lynch of Crys only if an investigation revealed her designation to be hostile.

Since we know for sure how many scum we have left (4), I personally would love to see how many town we have right now. Recruitable would be nice, but we know that it is at 5 at the most, possibly 4 or 3 now. What makes you think we know how many Mafiates are left? How do you know that the Mafia don't have a recruiter to mirror what you claim to be doing for Town? It's not inherently broken; the player has to pick someone who is recruitable. I've played a Mafia recruiter recently (Arkham Asylum); I had a real problem N1 because I had to pick someone who was (a) recruitable and (b) might actually agree. In the early game you're probably better off picking someone you think will agree and hoping they're recruitable. There are probably four Mafiates left, and we can act on that assumption. But don't close your mind to the possibility that that number is wrong - not only because of recruitment, but also that we don't know enough about Red to trust him 100% - or even 90%, to be honest. This supply of information reminds me of no-one more than Edward Nigma, and he was a PFK - Third Party Hostile, in this game. Ask questions, get answers, play a guessing game and win if you get it right. (I'll grant that could be nonhostile in this game.)

SisterCoyote: I get the feeling you are playing a certain part too well. Playing it safe, hiding in plain sight, so to speak. I'm interested to know what you've been up to behind the scenes. I always play things close to the vest, Pizza, you've played with me more than long enough to know that. So you can wonder what I'm doing behind the scenes all you like -- whether I am or not, I'll be the one who chooses when and whether to share that information. Cookies is scaring me because she is so freely coming to the defense of other players. She scammed me entirely by coming to my defense in the Firefly game. So based on that alone, because everyone seems to be playing things so close to the vest: Sinjin, this vote on cookies stinks to high heaven, as others have said, especially when we've had claims and information thrown out left and right by players. Very few people in this game are playing things close to the vest -- you, Bill, me, a couple others -- the rest seem to have decided to let their freak flags fly big time. i guess the issue i have had with you cookies is that it feels lilke no matter what you shoot it down. now that is certainly your perogative but it seems like you have spent more time finding fault with others' opinions than normal. I disagree.

I use the colors the mod uses to maintain consistency. Choosing new colors for further stratification turns discussion from the vote count to the merits of different colors. If you would prefer further differentiation, you're more than welcome to make your own vote count charts. In the meantime I offer you this key: Purple and named KidVermicious=Hostile Purple and not named KidVermicious=Non-Hostile That last does not work, unless you are willing to maintain that KidV was the only hostile third party. I would suggest that, with all due respect, consistency withthe Mod is slightly less important than clarity, especially when there is a key distinction between the two - anmelyy that no-one needs to eliminate third party non-hostiles as a group, so colour coding them the same can (and will, by Murphy's law) produce confusion. I suggest the following. Purple for Third Party Non-Hostile Teal for Third Party HostileThat has the advantage of being visually distinctive, so that one does not have to stop and think when reading visually-cluttered lists such as those 1. That also has the backing of precedent (see Arkham Revisited for one such example). I think you should consider the advantages, and not blindly follow the Mod. 1That's not a criticism, it's a property of the thing you are trying to do. They're hard enough to read without ambiguous colour-coding.)

Symantics. You want an observation? Next to 'lynch the loud' is a montage of every darn time people put my name in blue just because I'm actually talking when lots of other people aren't. Also interesting how there is apparently controversy (at least in sinjin's mind) in me being vocal about cases stinking against other players while in Gnarly's mind I shy away from controversy. Another data point on the lynch the loud. If I had a nickle for every game where I point out how people are voting for me for apparently inverted reasons... i guess the issue i have had with you cookies is that it feels lilke no matter what you shoot it down. now that is certainly your perogative but it seems like you have spent more time finding fault with others' opinions than normal. That may be what it feels like, but I've made my votes and made my cases and given agreement when I felt it. Remember KidV the Hostile? I was voting for him. Considering the piss-poor performance of Town+whatever Third Party allies they have at lynch time in this game so far, they apparently need a little more tough love to keep them from continuing to shoot themselves in the foot. I think the need to distinguish friend from foe at both the Town/Scum and Hostile/NonHostile levels is having an impact on the game, and I would not be surprised if my playstyle is intersecting with that design novelty in such a way that I'm especially picky. I'm not faulting people for not playing good 'normal' mafia either. I'm pulling my hair out when people aren't reconciling the unique characteristics of this game in their analysis. Like Meeko jumping to what I'd consider a dubious conclusion about Dizzy based on a slim metagame premise, when he's apparently got a role call list of a bunch of different people in your room the Night that you got killed. There are so many possible implications based on who else is on that list, to have Dizzy's name be the one he decides to share because she said she was away but still apparently managed to get a Night action in, I can't help but be less than ambivalent about whatever analysis he used to decide to keep the other names to himself. And lastly, considering how you were dead and have come back to life and all you seem to have wanted to do is lynch Inner Stickler and I, I'd say this particular game has made some adjustments to how you usually play too. That isn't your usual MO.
