Well that was an interesting read. So Miteymouse changed the win condition, and is almost more confusing then I am. I think it is a WIFOM situation cause she did seem confused by her PM but at the same time the change to the win condition has not really hurt us. Make us change our targets for whom to lynch. But then considering PFK's are not really good for the town anyways, it is not all that bad. However if blizzards and storms change big things like win conditions maybe she should try things like sunny days, and dry spells. Then the only thing that may happen is we have to talk in Pidgin English. LOL. I agree that the best way for her to confirm herself would be to give a heads up for tomorrow's weather report. Since our win condition is lynch all PFK's and I see no other PFK's I am for now just going to vote mmouse.

Sure, it may or will be a topsy-turvy game sometimes...but at least it'll be interesting. I think the last game Day and the half of this one have borne that statement out. I'd like to believe miteymouse, but I'm reminded of AH from last game, who just because I had made a similar slip as a townie in Batman to what she did in Marvel made me give her the benefit of the doubt. After that incident, I just decided to go with my slip in Batman was simply me being an idiot. So once bitten and all that. And even though the point has been made that even if mmouse is a bomb, removing an anti-town element early in the game is worth the collateral damage, if we can possibly avoid that collateral damage, even better. So... vote miteymouse

Unvote MiteyMouseVote mmouseNow, to explain: When Idle said: "Anything (powers or otherwise), that one knows about, that has any barring on the outcome of the game," I think he put the phrase "that one knows about" in there for a reason...this is important. Let's assume for a moment that Mitey has been telling the truth. I don't care about the whole vanilla slip, because as a newbie I can see how she'd make that mistake. Heck, I had a similar slip regarding my powers last game (and I'm far from a newbie) because I didn't consider that they had an effect...as I'm sure Santo will remember Anyway, now that Idle has defined a useful power as something of which one must be aware, the PM she quoted could be true. I think that saying that she has no useful powers in her PM was a poor choice of words, but it makes sense if we use Idle's definition of useful. Therefore, I am willing to believe Mitey for now, since my gut tells me she's being genuine. I'm voting for the other mouse for obvious reasons...she's an admitted PFK and our win condition is to eliminate the PFKs. I am slightly worried about her being a bomb but at this point collateral damage isn't that big of a deal. --FCOD

So, now that I see how the game is played here, I'll just wait a day or two for another completely stupid role claim. I clicked reply to say that historically this isn't how we play the game. But then I thought back on the past few games and...well I don't know if that is true anymore. So instead I will say...Ouch! Buurrrrn. Double ouch!

Geez. I go to class for one day and you guys go through five pages of text already.
The nice part of me wants to believe that MiteyMouse is a confused newbie...the paranoid part wants to lynch her for messing up her role claim.
Whatever her powers are, they do seem to have a global effect on the entire game, and they seem to be massively swingy. That seems more like a PFK power than a Town or Scum one, but that's just my gut speaking.

PLEASE NOTE: The warnings in the OP were just colorful ways of poking people who weren't posting as much. Since it was snowing anyway, I figured it would be an original way of doing it. Mallow's power had no bearing on their warnings. Well, dammit, Idle. =P Not changing my vote, the rest of my statements about Mitey proving her power stand. Glad I posted that though--especially since you worded that such that we still have no real proof of who Mallow is. =P

MiteyMouse: sounds like a linguistic error, not a scum/pfk error. Not that she couldn't be scum I'm just not feeling that as a lynch.
MMouse: I have seen no redeeming qualities and don't want to be distracted from the lynch.
See more information could come from letting MiteyMouse live another day even, there won't be any new information from letting mmouse live.

Sweet merciful crap.
MightyMouse:
I'm confused on how exactly you relate to the changing win conditions, I think I've seen you say multiple things. Would you mind posting all relevant PMs from Idle on the subject? I think you're saying that you a) get to choose the weather, and b) there's a changing win condition, based on your "moods", that you can't control? Or does the weather you pick have something to do with the current Town win condition?
Santo:
Didn't you say upthread that there had been a difference between the way "vanilla" was understood to be defined here and on Facebook? Is the way Miteymouse used it here consistent with current usage on Facebook?
mmouse9799:
Nuthin', huh? Ok.

Meaning we went from only a handful of votes on the boards (most of them for mmouse) and now we're in a comparatively rapid and raucous dead heat. Go back and read the last 6 or so votes. It is like a game of ping-pong being played faster and faster. My word choice: nailbiter. If y'all want to vote for me because of that, it is your prerogative.

... Let's assume for a moment that Mitey has been telling the truth. I don't care about the whole vanilla slip, because as a newbie I can see how she'd make that mistake. Heck, I had a similar slip regarding my powers last game (and I'm far from a newbie) because I didn't consider that they had an effect...as I'm sure Santo will remember Two points: 1) I don't believe you ever said you were Vanilla (correct me if I'm wrong?) 2) Mitey Mouse is not a newbie. Remember when Almost Human, Total Lost, and Fly Fisheron signed up for the Terminator game, and I pointed out they weren't allowed to use the newb card? Well, Mitey Mouse already had a couple games under her belt at that point, too. So this is like her fifth game, I believe. Santo: Didn't you say upthread that there had been a difference between the way "vanilla" was understood to be defined here and on Facebook? Is the way Miteymouse used it here consistent with current usage on Facebook? No. What I said (and I don't remember if it was implicit or explicit, so don't quote me on the was that there has been extensive conversation about the difference between a power role and a Vanilla role. The usage is identical, as you can see in the exchange on the previous (two pages?) page between me and Total Lost. The conversation I had with somebody on Day 1 was discussing how it was extensively discussed on the FB group why it's bad for Vanilla to claim as such (it doesn't help the town if scum is doing it, and it only helps the scum if town is doing it) when not under pressure. It was the focus of at least three Day 1 conversations, and probably even more subsequent Days. In short, there is absolutely no excuse for Mitey Mouse to have made that mistake if she wasn't trying to cover her ass. It really, really feels to me that she's trying to protect mmouse, though. The flailing around has been almost cathartic*, though, so I won't be moving my vote unless new evidence surfaces. *There's another high-dollar word for ya, story.
