Everyone hung Mmouse####
She kicked until she was dead and then just swung with the wind. The only sound was the scrape of the rope against the tree bark. Snow drifted down and around her shoulders and everyone stood huddling in the blizzard wondering if she was scum or not. Then they went to search her house and found papers there from the psych ward. Turns out she had been a resident there before and treated for being suicidal before. Six times before, actually. But, having failed each time, she finally devised a way to die not only successfully but originally.
Suicide by mob. Someone who wanted to be killed.
Mmouse AKA Donkey Kong Jr....the PFK Jester, will be a winner at the end no matter what.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
It is now a blizzard-y, cold Night. Everyone with a Night action, you know what to do.
Get your shit in by, ooooohhh, Friday at 2pm (MST). That's more than 48 hours from now so it should be plenty of time. Know, of course, that Day will end early if everyone gets the actions in early, though.
Feel free to continue to strategize and play the game, but remember, no role claims.

On the one hand, she was PFK, and we didn't lose one of ours.
On the other, we mislynched.

Eh, not the best possible lynch, but overall beneficial to the Town. I don't mind sharing a win, and we did advance towards our current wind condition...until it changes again, which I'm guessing will happen Tomorrow morning.

Umm... pede? How do you figure? Probably because each PFK lynch brings us closer to lylo. Although, it really doesn't mean to much in the beginning of the game. It really only becomes an issue in the end game. So it is a bit odd. I mean, we removed a non-town distraction, and currently furthered our existing win goal, so it wasn't a bad play by town at all at this point.

Reverse order, snippage: I mean, we removed a non-town distraction, and currently furthered our existing win goal, so it wasn't a bad play by town at all at this point. Exactly. In other words, it's not a mislynch. We can't play the whole game guessing and assuming our win condition is going to change, IMHO. Not with our current win condition, it doesn't.

No biggie. I'm just glad it wasn't a long post. Especially since when I hit "back" to try to copy it so I could post it at night, the board wouldn't return me to the reply screen because you can't reply to locked threads.

Not with our current win condition, it doesn't. Huh, Rugger and I both saw the same thing and had the same reaction. I don't think that has happened since Seekham. Pede, Hoopy, you want to talk to us a bit about not being aware of town's win condition?

In light of the weather, it's time for another edition of
Pede's Cool Refreshing Non-Alcoholic Beverages Stand! -Because bar was taken, and there's no alcohol
Today, we'll take advantage of the snow to make the finest aqueous martinis this side of the Atlantic.
1. Scoop out the snow. Make sure you take much more snow than you want drink, as a lot tends to be lost in the making. 2. Boil the snow. This ensures that any common germs are flushed out, while preserving the all natural taste. 3. Pour in martini glass. Add olive to taste.

True. But I think we do need to play the game assuming the win condition is going to change. If we have a scum in hand and no bead on a potential PFK, we should lynch the scum. Well, duh. But if a detective reveals a PFK and a scum, the first one we need to lynch is the one that corresponds to our current win condition.

True. But I think we do need to play the game assuming the win condition is going to change. If we have a scum in hand and no bead on a potential PFK, we should lynch the scum. The game is unplayable if the win condition is going to constantly change. Don't get me started on how mmouse was handed a win when the win condition changed, that already rankles a bit, but we don't know what tomorrow will bring and can't assume that it will be the same as toDay.

Pede, Hoopy, you want to talk to us a bit about not being aware of town's win condition? I was imprecise. By a mislynch, I meant a non-optimal lynch. (And it's non-optimal because in all likelihood, there are other PFK's with stronger powers) I'm satisfied with what happened, though.

The game is unplayable if the win condition is going to constantly change. Methinks it's related to Mitey being alive, regardless of her assertion that it doesn't.

I'm not as much surprised as I am confused right now.. *shrug* Congrats MMouse..
I don't really see this as much of a loss to town.. We need to lynch PFKs, and that's what we'll do, but I wonder if scums win-condition changed as well.. Anyone from scum care to let us know.. y'know.. now that we aren't direct enemies anymore?

I just had a though (yes - it happens sometimes - not often - but sometimes). Idle said: "Town now only wins when all PFK players are dead" But he never said that the "You win when all the people who are aligned with Scum are dead" didn't still applied as well. I know I'm not that great at any languages other then Danish - but it might be that our win condition didn't change to "you win when all PFK playes are dead" - but it might be "you only win when all aligned with scum AND all PFK players are dead"... Could someone please tell me if that would be a right way to interpret the change?

"Town now only wins when all PFK players are dead."
It's an awkward sentence structure, but I parse it to mean it's replacing our previous win condition.

Valid question totallost.. It would be interpreted both ways..
Idle: Given our current win condition, do we need to kill BOTH scum and PFK, or just PFK?

To clairify: Town's win condition is that they need ALL PFKs dead. Once they have all the PFKs dead, Town wins. Town do not have to kill any of the scum group to win the game. Only of the PFK group.
That's what I thought the win condition read before, but there's the cookies on the lower shelves for you all. : )
