I could join you in the vote. It would make sense for me to do that. Vote Kat!What does this mean? I tried to tell you... I can't help anyone but me and I did talk about shoes... Story got it - only I can't do anything than help me. This is not a magic bag (I hate them)... but this might be a time when I can do something good for Town. I'm not sure how to phrase it while being humble enough. I don't want to act to proud and lose what I was given...

Total, do you need to die for Town to win? No - not at all. But I have an opportunity that I find anti-Town. So this might be a good way to make it pro-town.

You dying could be pro-Town? If I was to die like this - I would not think it would be anti-town. I think Kat! need to be lynched and I would be perfect for that. However if town woke up one morning and thought I played like crap - then the fact that I really have a thing with shoes, could be a bit of a problem.

You're the only one with your PM... so if you gotta do what you gotta do, then go for it, but don't do anything foolish or stupid. In order for scum manipulation currently (if there are 2 votes on Kat), then there would have to be 3 voters who voted for someone else (or NAF/pollux Unvoting and 2 others Voting to put someone else up).
The idea of 3 People acting in such an anti-Town Manner is unlikely. So having 2 people be the ONLY voters for the Day works actually pretty well with the way we have our lynch mechanism, as long as we all agree- anyone doing any last minute voting shifts to another player is RIDICULOUSLY unhelpful- so if anyone has a disagreement with the plan, it'd be best to talk about it right now rather than in the final 12 hours or whatnot....
That said, TotalLost, you should make the choice you think is best for TOWN in the longest run, and not just if it's for yourself due to a fear of being lynched later on. You being on the Wagon will not change my opinion of your towniness one way or another unless you die. Same goes to NAF and Pollux, it may improve my thoughts on them, but if Kat dies and no one is taken down- then it's a null tell really being the only people on the wagon (same with if one dies and not the other, esp. if Kat is revealed as Scum- then it could just be a crazy scum who chose which of the two or three on her to kill).

Individual Town players are safest when everyone is equally at risk, because exempting unconfirmed players means exempting potential scum. We could do some conditional probability calculations and see how confident we need to be in a claimed power role in order to make it better to exclude them, but it's simpler to have everyone carry the risk. But see, first of all the only claimed power role I'm talking about excluding is the one who can potentially be confirmed by the lynch. It's silly to put them at risk on the lynch. Second, we have no idea what the ratio of vanilla-power role-scum is, so there could be a greater probability of hitting a useful town power role than scum. It's not simpler for everyone to carry the risk, it's simpler to put all the useless claimed people to the test, which is just as likely a place where scum might hide. And what's with you, and earlier NAF, denouncing everyone's Mafia playing? Others approaching things differently than you doesn't justify you insulting the all the other players. Because I'm frustrated. I'm frustrated with how your entire situation played out, frustrated how you played your role and how anti-town you've been. Frustrated that this game has been played very lazily. Frustrated that nobody seems to consider the possibility Kat might be telling the truth and to maybe suggest IS investigate her again tonight instead of just taking the easy solution and lynching her, even though it's highly likely she's lying. I'm not going to apologize for what I've said, because I'm venting and it's entire in-game and entirely in-this-game. I don't mean to offend anybody, but I'm just ugh. I understand it's not entirely helpful, but it does get my point across that I'm very opinionated on a particular subject. Besides exempting most or all scum from the potential blowback kill, it also gives scum a chance to manipulate who is at risk. Scum know how many scum are in the set of you and NAF. That is going to affect their stance and/or argument about the proposal. Eventually, that might be to our benefit, but right now it means we're less likely to choose the best option. If we require everyone to vote for Kat, we prevent the scum from manipulating who's at risk. With your plan, we may prevent scum manipulation, but we also unnecessarily put town power roles at risk. If a town power role declines to vote for Kat in your plan, in your eyes they're as good as lynched tomorrow, which will result in them having to claim, causing more problems and giving the scum more future targets.

I'm not doing this to look more town to you or anyone else. I'm doing it because I see it as a way to turn a potential anti-town thing into a pro-town thing. It would be best for town in the long run.

I hope I understand the shoe business right. Total Lost, are your shoes like Pleonast's, in that you just don't like the color or do yours come with a clear price tag? I hope my $0.01 is clear .

Do your shoes come because of the color/flavor in your PM, or are they due to something more explicitly spelled out basically I think is what he's asking.
IE: Do your shoes come because of the character or does it have to do with the Game more so- and what part do you have a problem with.
I THINK that's what he's trying to say there. But not really sure either.

I'll drop the shoes then. I think you're claiming humble, not so proud Penny but are so humble you just stare at your shoes all the time. Oh wait, without shoes: you have a post restriction where you cannot claim to be Penny. You hinted being Penny to Storyteller, so he wouldn't kill you and trigger a recruit event? Later you hint that town lynching could have the save effect (or you're hinting you can maybe recruited yourself, I'm not sure). However if town woke up one morning and thought I played like crap - then the fact that I really have a thing with shoes, could be a bit of a problem. Pleonast decided he might be recruitable because he got kicked out of the ELE as described in his role PM, but not his powers. Kat! also claims to be 'recruited' (changed sides) and it was explicitly spelled out in her PM. So does your PM spell it out as power or are you just guessing because you have a thing for shoes are Penny? If it does we either have two recruitment like events or one is a fake, Kat! being more likely with the investigation and all (disclaimer both could be lies of course, but seems not that likely to me). If Kat isn't lying though and you aren't either, are you sure a crazy townie killing you won't have the same effect?

I've got myself out of sync with this game, and when I tried to get back in I bit off more than I could chew. The search returned 135 posts...
I need to take a step back and reread the whole game to see if I can pick up on anything. Hopefully I'll have time to do that in the next couple of evenings, since I'm down to one game.
A light has just gone on though; I don't actually believe Kat's claim to have switched sides. It neatly explains the events - no deaths Night 1 and 2 but Daykills in Days 2 and 3. An alternative theory can easily be proposed; that the Daykills were delayed side-effects of Storyteller trying to kill Pleonast, for example.
Whether she's a bomb - that is, has a Crazy Townie power - is a different question. I don't know what to think about that.
I have to be out in an hour, and before I go I have to work up a solo adventure for the fourth player, who's missed three sessions of my game (with one thing and another.)
See you tomorrow.

Pollux, I entirely disagree with the idea that IS should have another look at Kat. Who would you suggest we lynch instead?
