I agree that SBrown's claim reads as PFK-y. I don't have a goldmine of information, Suburban, but if it's time for a mass claim I will (somewhat reluctantly) join in, and add what little I've got to the pile. I don't want to tell you what to do, but it seems like we're collectively dead in the water here Today. If you have something that would actually help us tell the good guys from the not-so-good guys, I think this would be a good time to share. And as for a mass claim, I think it's probably about time for that too. We have only 4 people who have not claimed so far Gadarene (who has claimed a Power) HalMeeko (who has claimed non-Vanilla) scathach (non-Scum according to LightFoot) sinjinTwo of you have claimed to have Powers of some sort, so unless there's a really good reason that you need to keep silent still, I'm thinking now is the time. Of course that's easy for me to say, since I've already claimed, I know.

At no point here did I imply I thought that Nanook/mahaloth were confirmed. I said that looking for everyone to be confirmed is basically a fool's errand. Tomato, tomato. (That doesn't really work in text form, does it.) The point I was trying to make is you say Cookies was implying "unconfirmed" was a bad thing and you didn't like it. Then the next day, you posed the question "why are we treating Nanook and mahaloth as confirmed?" which was heavily laced with "they're not confirmed yet, which is a bad thing" whether you explicitly stated it or not. So I see the merit of Pollux's vote on Meeko, and Texcat's vote on Plankton would provide information on the unaccounted for kill on N4. Scathach's vote on Hal is essentially due to Hal no longer being a gungho button pusher and engaging stealth mode. I really don't follow Mahaloth's vote on Sinjin. Mahaloth's vote on sinjin is, as far as I can tell, a re-vote of his re-vote on Day Four, which was a re-vote of his vote on Day Three, which was based on the fact that pizzaguy claimed he blocked sinjin on Night Two and that may have been why there were only two Nightkills. However, we've gotten information as to why there were only two kills Night Two and pizzaguy flipped scum, so his vote makes absolutely no sense. I'd love to hear an explanation but considering his business and usual style of play, I doubt we'll get one before the end of the Day.

Next up on Pollux's lurker exposé is sinjin! Not as lurkery as others previously but I think a 20 post back-up on her would do some good. After this I'll do Gadarene and I think that should cover all our lurkers, aside from peeker who I'm not entirely sure is lurking, so much as fallen off the face of the planet. So here we go. A few adjustments on sinjin's since right at the last 20, she posted a wall of words on Cookies over several posts, so... Gah I've spent hours going thru all of Cookies posts and while I'm not sure she is scum I'm pretty sure she's not town. I don't know how to post my notes without making a mash of it. I guess I should do a couple of WoW's even though I'm not happy with those. I'll break it up into a few posts for your reading pleasure. I think the posts from this day, the last bits are most interesting, as well as how she switched from defending lightfoot to voting her. I have tried to put my thoughts in parens at the end of my brief synopsis of what I thought the posts entailed. SOrry for no linkies, just pull up all her posts and you can find what I was referring to. Next up was the Wall of Words, but instead of quoting them I'll just link: WoW #1WoW #2WoW #3WoW #4Can somebody post the order the kerosening took place? I am getting confused by the timing. Based on my short memory loss, is this correct:: Night one: Hal smells kerosene Night two: Peeker smells kerosene Night three: Total and Texcat In addition Night 2 Total received a recruitment offer Night 3 Total also received another recruitment offer that mentioned the kerosene (popular girl . Cookies claims the kerosene is protective and she can remove it from one person and place it on another, so on Night 2 she moved it from Peeker? to Total and placed an addtional charge on Texcat. @total were three of your messages delivered at Dawn? Nice try, but as I said in my claim, I will not be divulging who's protection charge was moved in order to plant 2 of them last Night. I wasn't trying to get you to tell. I was just guessing Let me get this straight, you never asked storyteller about the contradiction in your power? REALLY?? Crap I don't know what the vote count is unvoteand there's no time left for me to make any kind of informed vote This is generally true in any situation, I think. Is a lazy dick like a lazy eye, kinda pointed to the side? Oh and I signed in to post that last little tidbit and found I had a message that was delivered yesterday: It appears to be from the scummy scums. Seems like typical scum wifom mischief. They say they can't kill Iexcat so we have to lynch her. But with 3 kills per night except the night Dirx held off it doesn't appear they tried to kill her at all. And how do they know she's PFK anyway??? @ SBr0wn: Why do you continue to say if Idle is scum. He has been mod-confirmed as scum? Why are you angry at at Pollux for stating the obvious? @billmc: I did nothing last night and got no message that I was encased in ice or blocked. vote IdleI keep waiting for Storyteller, thinking that something is going to happen to Pollux, but then I realized that all actions are at dawn or dusk. I guess we'll wait to see what happens at dusk. ;( This is not true. Before when Pollux voted/unvoted story cam right in with his count. I would like to know if Gadarene or Gnarly received any note that they were blocked by Mr. Freeze. I already responded. Sorry I forgot about Gadarene's previous block claim. I would still like to here from Gnarly. He hasn't been posting much at all and I seem to recall that's what he does as scum. If we decide on a mass claim I would fully claim. I have nothing to hide. Wow, that's nice, any reason for your vote or just because? I'm cool with a claim not that I have much to claim. I admit I've played poorly this game, in part due to family considerations. I'm kind of in the dark this game. I poured over the vote record last Night and only succeeded in confusing myself. I was suspicious of all the weird investigator/other claims, mostly Lightfoot's, drainbeads, and Cookies and was proved wrong on all. I don't really know where to go from here. I can't even fault texcat because all of the people she vigged would have been on my list too if I had been a vig. I hate that I fell for Idol's "oh woe is me this is my last game ever" scthick. I just don't know. I'm kind of waiting to find out about my device before I post too much. I've read SBr0wn in my brain as Samantha Brown because of the tv show. Hi Steph. Mahaloth would be number one with a bullet if not for the Nanook recruiting thing. Is it possible he was recruited by scum after Nanook recruited him? I have other concerns and will put them out for discussion tomorrow even if I don't get any new info about my device, ie Tuesday, not Tomorrow. I am going to to a major reread on SBr0wn tomorrow. I don't get this: I'm the device planter, don't be worried, it's all totally innocuous schtick, and maybe we'll get some info from the folks who have been deviced. Exactly what information have you gotten on the folks you've planted a device on? Oh, and my Acrostic: sssoted rl hussnry wouney rhssy eee mgdle ynot e fess pols. I believe it was the last letter of each of my quotes. Feel free to go back and check on that one if you like. This is Politics: 'Do what you're told or we'll punish you.' This is Religion: 'Suffer misery now so you can be happy after death.' This is Philosophy: 'The Universe came from nothing, and will one day return to it.' None of these doctrines stands up to rational analysis. Why did you choose to use the last letter of the acrostic instead of the first? ---- Thoughts on sinjin: She doesn't strike me as overtly scummy. ToDay's promising of doing something tomorrow over and over again is a little suspicious but not terribly. She seems to be perfectly fine with a mass claim, so I'd be surprised if she decides not to claim before the Day is over (and also more suspicious of her since she seems to be ready to be forthcoming). Askthepizzaguy went off on Idle and sinjin, and while he did bus Idle I'd raise my eyebrows if he bussed two scum buddies at the same time. On the other hand, it'd be a very risky maneuver which pizzaguy could have performed easily. I'm still leaning town on sinjin but I'm not 100% sure. There's nothing popping out at me as supremely scummy, but nothing supremely towny either. All looking at her last 20 posts has done for me is make me want to look at the rest of her posts as well.

Gadarene! Come on down! Oh! And just as I posted this I remembered the claimed mason-like pairs. I need to re-read, but could those have been successful recruits/recruiters? Not me and peeker. Story personally confirmed peeker's alignment to me. And I can claim at some point too, I guess, since everyone's doing it. My vote is going to stay on Rysto. He repeated more than a few times, as I recall, that we could leave Pleo alone for the time being. We did not need to lynch him on Day 1. We could leave him for the vig or scum to deal with. Now, with more information, that looks even more suspicious to me. I like this thinking a lot, although I still think that Rysto is >rand to be town because he and I have shared a lot of the same thought processes. I also think that Archangel looks like a good choice, for reasons mentioned earlier. Unvote AskThePizzaGuy, in light of his claim. Vote ArchangelSo you think Rysto is probably town because he says things that you agree with, but you're willing to lynch Archangel for saying nothing? Yes. Not that Rysto says things that I agree with, but that he says things with thought processes that I can follow and that generally mirror my own; in my experience, it's hard for scum to fake townie-type thought processes. If Archangel started demonstrating the same sort of thought processes, I'd reevaluate him/her. Agree with Inner and Drain. I got roleblocked last night. Hmmm...did I miss something? I didn't know you had a role to be blocked. You seem like a surpising choice for a role block. I was waiting for further evidence, but it does not seem to be forthcoming, and so I will renew my vote from Yesterday: Vote: Rysto I agree (I was surprised, anyway). And I agree with Hal that it's most likely the scum roleblocker taking a shot at someone who's claimed town but hasn't claimed their power. I don't trust Peeker to tell me. Where are we with Peeker and someone else confirming each other? How far did the game in general get with that one? Is my vote for him as stupid as a would allow, or are many needed here? story confirmed to me that peeker is Town. I'm happy to quote story's entire PM, since that is apparently de rigueur here. You aren't mod confirmed. Mod confirmed would be Story posting in the thread "Peeker is Town." Right now the only word we have that you are Town is yours and Gad's. Here's the PM I got. It was from story, and it was entitled "A Development." Yeah, amazingly enough, my kills have gone through like clockwork. I see a couple of possible advantages in sharing my kill beforehand. One, if I am killed or role-blocked, town can look at my target as a lynch candidate. Two, if anyone, including the possible target, has any reason they'd like to share why my target should be changed. (If Archangel had claimed Doc last night, I might have re-considered. Of course, since she was vanilla...) That being said, I tend to agree with you, especially since we know there are roleblockers out there. And certainly on Night 1, I didn't mention my target ahead of time. However, I will say now that I think likely vig targets are lurkers, lynch runners-up, and scum that I think I have a convincing case on (like MHaye). Also, I can choose not to kill any night. So if everyone is active and we lynch a scum, I could easily choose to stay home and watch TV. Gadarene, can you stand a few more questions about your message regarding peeker? I'm assuming that it was similar to the one that Total quoted just above? However, Total implies that it was part of her original PM. (Corrections welcomed.) The timing of your claim indicates that it might have been a message received at dusk of day one. Is that correct? If so, can I ask if it came in an envelope? Sorry I've been low-participation; I'm playing in a couple of other games and just having a really crappy all-around couple of weeks. Let me know if my quoting the PM answered your questions sufficiently; I received it at dusk on day one. I wouldn't believe anything Idle says, obviously. Pollux, I'm playing poker this weekend, so I'm on my phone exclusively and can't fully contribute for the next couple of days. I will say, though, that I posted all communication to me regarding peeker in the Night One thread (and then whenever I actually quoted story's full PM) -- we haven't had any PMs or other interaction since then. As far as I understand it from what I received, the function of peeker's role is simply to reveal himself as mod-confirmed town one time to a fellow townie, and that's it. It's not a true masonry or anything. Peeker can correct me if I'm wrong. I thought peeker said it didn't have to be to a fellow Townie. I must have missed him saying that. Doesn't change my alignment, though. Sorry for my lack of participation, everyone. I've felt sort of out of step with this game for a while now, and it's been hard to catch up. I'm inclined to believe Suburban's claim -- and, specifically, to believe that he is Town, rather than Third Party or PFK. I don't see why Idle would out Suburban's alignment if Suburban were actually not Town, while obviously it benefits Idle to sow confusion, doubt, and paranoia if Suburban was, in fact, a Townie. Vote Idle ThoughtsShould we have a good second wagon in case Idle is up to some shenanigans and has a Scotsman-type power? That's a rather strange question. If there's someone else you're suspicious of, then please tell us. But what good would us do to 'get a second wagon going' here with just under 28 hours left in the Day? even if Idle is a Scotsman, or has some other way to avoid a lynch, it's not going to help us Today; he's the lynch candidate, and we're going to get a second chance if he doesn't work out. So why should we scramble now to nominate a 'runner-up'? If we were going to do such a thing, I think starting a few days ago might have been a good idea, rather that hurrying to do so now. You're right. It was a question better suited to an earlier day. I'm used to 28 hours left in a Day being a hell of a lot. ;D Just trying to contribute; forget it, though. What are some other outstanding issues we can talk about to make toDay as productive as possible? Thanks for the questions, Total. It's helpful to have something concrete to focus on and respond to. What do you think of the PIS-debate between SP and Charly? About Lightfoot being Town? I can't remember the specifics of it, but since my default is to treat people as provisionally Town until I have reason to think otherwise (cultural thing that has been explored in the past and probably doesn't need to be rehashed now), and since Lightfoot's tone was Townie throughout all the pressure she received from Day Two onward, I can see someone thinking of Lightfoot as extremely likely to be Town and referring to her as such without it being PIS. I think it's likely. Isn't there some specific tension between Texcat and SisterCoyote's claimed targets, though? As in, didn't they claim to have targeted at least some of the same people? Or am I misremembering? I think it's very possible that (a) we have two Town vigs and yet (b) Texcat is not a Town vig. This fits with her claimed role name (since Talia was third party as well), and I also have a decently strong suspicion about who the other Town vig is, assuming it isn't Texcat. I don't think it's pro-Town to vocalize it, though, just in case scum/PFK out there haven't reached the same conclusion. That Idle could and would do something specific that I'm surprised he hasn't done. I don't know what the implications of him not doing it are. I am opposed to mass claims as a cultural matter, as an aesthetic matter, and because I don't want to make the scum's job easier for them. If a mass claim happens, I will participate, but I feel in general like it takes the game-solve-y aspect out of Mafia and turns it into the Town versus the mod's ingenuity in preventing gamebreaking gambits. Mass claims aren't as fun for me, either. And a part of me cringes inside every time I see someone quote their full role PM. I know it's allowed, and I'm not saying that everyone who has done so was wrong given the context of their particular claim, but this game has a built-in information asymmetry and puzzle aspect that I enjoy, and everyone laying themselves bare (or purporting to do so) cuts against that, for me. I don't think there is a third vig. We haven't had enough deaths for that, or we hadn't until last Night. And SisC killed Astral night 1, no one night 2, and Chronos night 3. I killed MHaye night 1, Archangel night 2, Rysto night 3, and no one night 4. Did you possible confuse Astral and Archangel? I might have, yeah. I would like to know if Gadarene or Gnarly received any note that they were blocked by Mr. Freeze. I already responded. I received a PM that I was blocked on the night that Mr. Freeze claims to have blocked me, and I said so the next morning. Because he tried to steal Lightfoot's powers on Night two (he's our power stealer--remember). He was successful with stealing Suburban's, though...because Suburban is PFK!<de-sized> I am not outing my power (if any) at this time. If I have one, it is not power stealer, so Idle's not even telling a half-truth here. I posted this a few minutes ago in the Day 4 thread, before I noticed that Night had already fallen... Well, since you claim to have been told that you were blocked on Night 2, I think we can be pretty sure you have some power...Vanillas aren't generally informed that they were prevented from not actually doing anything. Shhh. I agree that SBrown's claim reads as PFK-y. I don't have a goldmine of information, Suburban, but if it's time for a mass claim I will (somewhat reluctantly) join in, and add what little I've got to the pile. ---- The thing that sticks out to me the most in Gadarene's turn to reluctance about claiming. On Day Two he seemed willing to go ahead and claim (although there is an I guess in there), but by Day Five he's saying he doesn't approve of mass claims and toDay he says he'll claim but "with reluctance." Why was he so eager to claim on Day Two as opposed to now? You'd think a Town power would be more eager to claim later than earlier in the game. I dunno, that strikes me as odd. Re-looking at the PM that Gadarene quoted, I feel like the fact that part of the PM was in blue makes me reconsider just taking peeker out. I don't really know what to believe on the part of peeker, but I think if it was a fake message (like Total's recruiting/Batmobile message) it would just be straight text and not have the blue annotation. Unless peeker was a scum recruiter and recruited Gadarene, and this was some sort of a plot between the two of them to-no paranoia! Stop it! Stop it! Stop making things complicated! I wish I had more data points on Gadarene during Day Three and Day Four. No posts at all on Day Four, and he initially voted PizzaGuy on Day Two but switched his vote...and had no vote anywhere on Day Three. That gap of information makes it hard for me to determine which alignment I think Gadarene lies on.

Oh well, mass claim it is then.
It's a limited power, but I'd prefer for scum not to know exactly how many more times I can use it.
So far the only person I've checked who actually got a result on the day/night cycle I checked:
I'm not out of tries yet, and will take suggestions for who to investigate.
My acronym was "Critical decisions, life or death decisions, can be surrendered, just like that, to an ordinary coin flip." which I think is pretty unambiguously Twoface.

I believe that peeker is town and that the message Gad received was legit.
The message that I received from scum (and I think now that it was Idle) looked much different from Gad's message. And the PM was labeled as A Message, not A Development.
But while I believe that peeker is town, and the message is legit, that does absolutely nothing for my opinion about Gad. I wish peeker had explained a little more exactly why he thought Gad was town.

Hmmmm. Scathach's role is interesting. You're telling me with four dead investigative roles you only managed one result? I'd like to see what Rysto's investigative powers were to clear that up...have you tried investigating him yet? Who have you tried and failed on? Just curious, wondering why you've only got one data point with so many dead investigators. That's an interesting thing to know about Astral's power. 19 town alive at the Dusk of Day One. Doing some extrapolating math: 11 Town are Dead at this point, but mahaloth wasn't converted yet so he'd still be third-party...which makes 9 total alive now if Nanook and mahaloth are to be believed.... That leaves 4 hiding in the bushes that aren't town-aligned. We've got exactly four unclaimed left (Gadarene, sinjin, Meeko, Hal)....odds they're the four left that are non-town? Slim to none. I'm sorry, but this makes the devicer look more suspicious in my humble opinion. Sorry SBrown. I doubt all 4 left are scum, but at least 2 of them are I'd wager. Maybe 3 + PFK, if they managed to recruit a third-party.

NETA: Worst-case scenario all 4 are scum, which gives us either two mislynches before LyLo (if texcat doesn't kill anyone at Night) or one mislynch and one misfire by texcat before LyLo.

I'm not out of tries yet, and will take suggestions for who to investigate. I'd suggest Rysto, since we don't know exactly what his ability was. Probably Night 3, to maximize the possibility that it will tell us something we don't already know. Or possibly LightFoot's Night 4 investigation, since she died before she could tell us what it was. Of course, we don't know if an Investigator would have gotten a result on the Night they were killed. All story told us about the order of events is If Investigations occur before Kills, then LightFoot should have gotten a result for Night 4, for example (assuming she submitted an action), so we ought to be able to find out what it was. But if Kills happen first, then we'll get nothing. Whatever you choose to do, hopefully you live long enough to be able to tell us something. What Night did you investigate Astral? I know you got his Night 1 result, but when did you receive it?

Here's my role:
I used my ability on myself on night one and night two. Rather, I attempted to use my ability on myself on night two, but I was roleblocked. Correspondence with story confirmed that roleblocks take order precedence over the triggering of my power, so I couldn't shield myself from the roleblock. Since I was effectively vanilla after day two, I've been hoping that the scum would think I was concealing something good and nightkill me instead of a townie with an actual power, but they obviously did not.

So Scathach is claiming an investigator of dead investigators - but has only one result? This kinda implies our dead investigators didnt investigate?
And Gadarene is claiming two shot doc, so three protective roles with Cookies and Plankton.

Hello, again, Internet:
VOTE COUNT - DAY SIX - WEDNESDAY PM
Meeko (1 vote) - Pollux Oil (7) Sinjin (1 vote) - Mahaloth (14) Suburban Plankton (1 vote) - texcat (30) Hal Briston (1 vote) - scathach (83)
With these votes, Meeko would be lynched.
-----
DEVICE UPDATE
Pollux Oil's device was destroyed in the sheep explosion.
All of BillMc's lights are now lit.
SBrown's device is now at zero.
Hal Briston's device still has not changed.
sinjin's device appears as the usual black box. However, this box appears to be smashed and broken; what appears to be a small metal wedge shaped like a bat has been jammed into the box. What appears to be plastic explosive still hangs from the box, but the various wires and other functional parts of the device are obviously disconnected from one another. A small, thin trickle of blue fluid runs from the box.
----
Day Six ends tomorrow. I really don't know when, as I will be traveling. I will therefore declare end of Day at exactly 5:00PM Eastern, and wing it from there. Have fun!

So Scathach is claiming an investigator of dead investigators - but has only one result? This kinda implies our dead investigators didnt investigate? And Gadarene is claiming two shot doc, so three protective roles with Cookies and Plankton. Actually, upon further reflection one result for scathach isn't surprising if our investigators were killed before their detective skills were processed. We know Lightfoot was: - Blocked Night One
- Investigated Scathach Night Two
- Forgot Night Three
- Killed Night Four
Silver Jan: - Found Lightfoot/Robin Night One
- Found Rysto/Hugo Strange Night Two
- Killed Night Three
Scathach got Astral's information, but if she investigated Lightfoot on Night Four or Silver Jan Night Three, it's entirely possible she didn't get results if kills go through before investigations. And Rysto wasn't super active so he may have slipped and missed an investigation or two. It's plausible...sucks, but it's plausible. Update: Updated list: 1. peekercpa (claimed town messenger) 2. Pollux Oil (claimed Lady Shiva, vanilla) 3. Nanook (claimed Harley Quinn, one-shot town recruiter) 4. scathach (claimed Two Face, investigator of a coroner-ish type, investigated not scum by Lightfoot)5. sinjin 6. SBrOwn (claimed Anarky, devicer) 7. Suburban Plankton (claimed Mr. Freeze, roleblocker/doctor now powerless) 8. Gadarene (claimed Jane Doe, two-shot protector) 9. BillMc (claimed Hush, vanilla) 10. texcat (claimed Ra's Al Ghul, vigilante)11. Meeko 12. Mahaloth (claimed Solomon Grunday, scotsman-ish, recruited by Nanook)13. Hal Briston THE DEAD1. Astral Rejection, RATCATCHER (Investigative) 2. Inner Stickler, ALEXEI ABRAMOVICI (Alignment Based) 3. Archangel, CALENDAR MAN (Vanilla) 4. Rysto, HUGO STRANGE (Investigative) 5. Silver Jan, SCARECROW (Investigative) 6. Chronos, KILLER MOTH (Vanilla) 7. Sister Coyote/Dirx, VICTOR ZSASZ (Killing) 8. Lightfoot, ROBIN (Investigative) 9. CometotheDarkSideWeHaveCookies, FIREFLY (Protective) 10. Gnarlycharlie, CARMINE FALCONE (Special) 11. Total Ullz, VIKTOR ABRAMOVICI (Alignment Based)1. Special Ed, BATMAN (Special) 2. MHaye, THE PENGUIN (Special) 3. askthepizzaguy, CATWOMAN (Special) 4. Idle Thoughts, HUNTRESS (Killing)1. Pleonast, THE JOKER (Special) 2. Guiri, TALIA AL GHUL (Special) 3. Drain Bead, THE RIDDLER (Investigative)----- With Astral's count + conversion of mahaloth, we've got 4 people alive who aren't town. At least one of the claims already made is fake. I'd probably say I'm most suspect of SBrown's claim to be a pro-town devicer, although I don't think she's scum...probably third party or PFK. I'd probably put texcat next as a possible PFK...simply for the fact that her power seems to have no drawbacks. Every power that's come out has had some sort of drawback/difficulty and she was one of the first to claim, before we had that information. Scum-wise, my two top suspects right now are Meeko and Hal, and neither of them have claimed yet so I can't really weigh in on the possibilities of their roles. It could turn out our four errant opponents are SBrown, texcat, Meeko, and Hal...but that would tie things up in a nice little bow and that seems too easy. (Side note: Anyone else find it amusing that our investigators formed a tight little circle? Silver Jan nosed out Rysto and Lightfoot, and Lightfoot nosed out scathach who picked up astral's investigation?)

Sinjin's device is interesting with its bat. I need to go reread all the descriptions of the devices and see if there really are in clues there. SBrown, did you see any clues in your device yet? What do you make of sinjin's?
I'm actually beginning to think that we may not have any PFK's. Every mention of them by story was always followed by, 'if any'. I wonder if that was a clue that we don't have any.

Scathach, I'd also like to see your failures. I'm particularly interested in who was role-blocked and when. I didn't discover any roleblocks.

I think the "may" in the first sentence makes it read less odd to me than it does to you. As in, you're allowed to use this power on any night you wish, but no more than twice total.

I don't like Gad's claim. I especially don't like it in light of his choice of use. Why would you waste a two shot super protect on yourself on Day 1 and 2?

I think the "may" in the first sentence makes it read less odd to me than it does to you. As in, you're allowed to use this power on any night you wish, but no more than twice total. Perhaps. When I asked story what order Night Actions took place (to know if I was wasting my time asking for results for the night people were NK'd) he told me that even though there was a good answer to my question, he couldn't answer it. Hmmm. Your claimed power is also conveniently unprovable. Also, if the roleblock did take precedence, wouldn't you get another go? Since you only used your power once? I...don't like it. Unvote: Hal Briston Vote: Gadarene

Hello, again, Internet: VOTE COUNT - DAY SIX - WEDNESDAY PM Meeko (1 vote) - Pollux Oil (7) Sinjin (1 vote) - Mahaloth (14) Suburban Plankton (1 vote) - texcat (30) Hal Briston (1 vote) - scathach (83) Vote SuburbanIt's either Hal or suburban at this point. For the time being at least. One had voting actions, that are moot now*. The other one has been more aggressive on me than not. *Do we think that the devicer has a PFK win con? Would voting for them be of any consequence, given the number of devices that have gone off?

I don't know about anyone else, and if I don't use it early I might be dead before I get the chance. I considered using my power on peeker on Night Two, but as it turned out the point was moot anyway.

Unvote: Hal Briston Vote: Gadarene
Um...no. I used the power twice. The fact that it was prevented from taking effect the second time is immaterial. Someone with a one-shot vig who is roleblocked the night they try to use it wouldn't get a second chance the next night. And my exchange with story was specifically about the wording of my power and "all night actions." I suspected that a roleblock would come first anyway -- and it obviously did, since I was, y'know, roleblocked -- and he confirmed it.

I think the issue is using both of them to self protect. back toback, no less. Then again, not sure I could fault you on that if you are telling the truth.

Not for me. I thought this was standard parlance. That could just be the Magic:The Gathering experience I have comming out though.
