That was quick!
So, no Day powers, no masonry, no third parties, multi-voting, mechanism for dealing with non-participants, and 3 scum!
Sounds like fun!

[Pleo, do successful bidders, who survive the Night, return to full health or is the chance to die cumulative for all successful bids? For example, if I win a bid with a 15% chance to die on N1 and on N2 win another bid with a 20% chance to die, is the N2 risk 35% or just 20%?

I would assume your bids do not accumulate, but rather restart at 0% the next Night. Why wouldn't they?

14 players and 3 scum. With 3 deaths per Day/Night cycle, the game will end no later than Day 5. So a fairly short game.

Does anyone else find it ironic, that for the one game where a claim doesn't help Pleonast, he's the mod?

I would assume your bids do not accumulate, but rather restart at 0% the next Night. Why wouldn't they? FWIW bids reset every Night. I asked because it wasn't clear in the rules and I thought it would make for a pretty interesting, albeit potentially quite short, game... Does anyone else find it ironic, that for the one game where a claim doesn't help Pleonast, he's the mod? Unforced D1 claims, sure, but here's a game where much information about Night powers will be public so claims still play a role in the game. 14 players and 3 scum. With 3 deaths per Day/Night cycle, the game will end no later than Day 5. So a fairly short game. So you look quite scummy, pity I can't vote yet ( I was going to do a smiley but........that blastard Rabbit) Why can't you vote? Vote: BillMcI can't be wrong about him two games in a row.

PM received. Vanilla Town.
Last game here I voted everyone Day 1 and got Lynched for it. This game I'll try a different Day 1 placeholder:
Vote: No Lynch
(I think this is functionally equivalent to voting everyone. Yes, I do expect to get Lynched for it.)

Especially the part "Yes, I do expect to get lynched for it." You got lynched for everyone, then do something different but think it is the same, but put a little catch about expecting to get lynched for it. And you claim VT, which should be unnecessary in a game that only has VT as a town role. Eh, I'm gonna vote you. And this is coming from a guy who frequently gets lynched Day One. Vote swammer

This game I'll try a different Day 1 placeholder: Vote: No Lynch(I think this is functionally equivalent to voting everyone. Yes, I do expect to get Lynched for it.) This post rubbed me wrong is several ways 1) voting NO LYNCH on day one - to what end? and it is not the same as voting for everyone in the game. voting for a player is 3/13 odds that you are voting for a scum if you vote for everyone else that would means that 3 out of 13 votes would be on scum ( assuming) you are town. voting no lynch the odd are 0/14 of finding a scum - odds which would be ok only to scum 2)The rest of you post seems to say I dare you to vote for me because last game I was lynched Day One and I was town. The odds of you being town are still 3/14 no matter if you have been town the last 100 games. 3) overall you post makes me think you are scum - because not matter what happen last game a town player with no votes on day one wouldn't be so worried about being lynched (IMO) you seem worried and that why I'm voting for you Vote: swammerdami

I realize there is rarely good reason for voting anyone on Day1, so my reason for voting the following players is because they voted with no good reason.
Vote: Texcat - for voting Mahaloth because it's Day 1 (although I do respect you for getting the "vote ball" rolling). Vote: Guiri - for voting BillMc because he was wrong about him in another game. Vote: Gnarlycharlie - for voting Captain Klutz as a welcome back message.
I was going to vote for Captain Klutz for voting Storyteller because he was the last to check in. But then I realized that Storyteller hasn't checked in at all and the mod has left it up to players to deal with non-participation with in-game methods, so fair enough. I'm going to give Storyteller more time though.
Although I don't agree with them at the moment, the votes on Swammer are fair since they're based on his actions in this game so far. I can understand why Swammer voted for a no lynch on Day 1 since there's little to no real information.
Should those I voted for give better justification, or remove the unjustifiable votes, I will unvote them.

Wow, it's halfway down page one and I've already gotten a vote for inactivity? Tough crowd. :-)
This is a really interesting setup. I am going back and forth on my feelings about the best way to play it. I will say this, though:
The two votes for swammerdami for suggesting a no-lynch are (at best) over-reaching or (at worst) suspicious. There is nothing inherently wrong with this suggestion; I think it's a thing about which we need to think carefully given the fact that this game is entirely and fundamentally different in its structure from anything we (well, at least I) have ever played before. I'm not sure that no-lynch Day One is the right strategy, but neither am I stone cold certain that it's the wrong one, and in the absence of better arguments I look at those who jumped on swammer's post as easy opportunities to vote as… well, opportunistic.
