DBI wrote: "Goon A/Goon B/Town - A Goon lynch results in immediate victory for the other faction, regardless of the Town player's role; a Town lynch results in a draw. (Town loses either way.)"
I see the contradiction. I'm not sure what DBI's reasoning for putting in the 'regardless of the Town player's role' phrase in there.
My weasel way out of this contradiction would be to state that DBI's scenario involves a Day lynch, not night actions. Doesn't really address the inherent contradiction, but laws are funny that way.
I'll leave it to DBI to overrule me if needed.

I asked about this very scenario before the game started (See the night action thread)
The post on day 1 was Death's response. To me, it seems clear it would be a scum win.

It is a moot point though if Rugger can't change Cookie's mind.

I'll root for moot point then, since I hate contradictions.
I'm trying to think if there was a reason for DBI's response. I can't even remember if she asked me about it. It was quite a while ago. It is possible that we decided that would be a scum win since scum were at a disadvantage, but I can't really remember. Also, I was sick during the beginning of the game and I missed quite a bit of Day One. Oh well, DBI will make everything better.

Pleo is going to let Cookies decide who to lynch? That should ensure that it is a moot point.

So much for my thinking MHaye gave himself away.

Wow. That was indeed fantastic. Town really is good at lynching Town.

The Night decision pretty much rests on MHaye. I don't want to pressure him since needs to decide if he wants a stalemate (kill Pleonast) or if he wants to fight for a win (do nothing). I do hope he decides soon though. It's Friday; I want to go home; and I'm hungry.

My decision is pretty much that a Day ending with Scum and Relevant Doctor (or Super Doctor or Vigilante) would still have resulted in a Scum win, because I'm mean to the Town like that. ;D ;D

Hmm, well I am not going to complain. I am not sure that the conclusion necessarily follows the logic of the game...but what the heck town lost either way. At least the scum didn't win!

To say that a SuperDoc vs. a scum in the final 2 would result in a Town loss. At the very least it'd be a Draw with Town and Scum!

Interesting to read comments. Still waiting on admin approval for the scum boards.
About my defeatist attitude--I think I caught the funk sach had in the You-Solve-It game.
I went for the stalemate for two reasons. 1) Once the Town's chance of winning went below a certain threshold, I'd rather play for the Factions to stalemate instead of one win outright. There was a flaw in my logic, though; I forget to include a possible blocked kill. 2) It put the Factions in a bad situation. If the Town collectively decided to play for stalemate, there was nothing the Factions could do to stop it. If they wanted a chance at winning, they'd have to throw us a reason to keep playing.
And my play did draw at nesta, even if he made some mistakes.
On the last Day, once cookies claimed Wei unchallenged, I needed her to make the right choice. There'd be no lynch at all if we disagreed. I wanted to force her to make her decision without seeing what I thought: her cards on the table first. I was hoping she had knowledge from a blocked kill or some other scummy insight. Oh well.
And I (wrongly) agreed with her vote for Rugger. If I'd disagreed we would've had to discuss it. Since we didn't disagree, I hammered. Doh! Kudos to MHayes, he fooled both of us.
