molefan, I was against voting for the Creepy Doll. I'm sure you can find it on re-read. I didn't "come across it". I posted my PM that stated it was staring me in the face when I woke up this morning. I don't know what it does, but the Mods did say that there is some mechanism behind it, so I'm playing the hand I was dealt. Sorry I'm not doing enough analysis for you, but I've again already stated that I am not taking this game seriously. I do not agree with most of your big analysis post, especially your vote for bufftabby. She has struck me as pro-town so far.

Gotta be covered dontcha know. The deductible and co pay is going to be a bear dog none the less.
And since apparently the phucking Godz are active on a Sunday p.m. Sons of bitches ought to be in church as far as I can tell.
"Those born on this day are not big on frills. They hate phoniness and despise all forms of affectation. Rarely will they make excuses for their work or behavior. They also have little time for probing analytical explanations of their motives, preferring to let their actions speak for themselves. These people just want to get on with the job, and indeed can become workaholics."
Fucking kill me now.
And BTW I'll take a rematch on the whole marble thing.
It's got to be better than reading the incessant PMs.

Man. I hate your accent Duke. So hard for me to follow personally.
That said, what are you doing with the "HoS" in blue? That's a voting color, but HoS is a term I've only seen used by one other player out here really (well, two, but MadTheSwine isn't playing this game).... So uh, care to fill us in on what that was?
And I have my own theories on the marble things. It's either REALLY REALLY bad, or it might be good. So I'm testing it out right now (you have your ways of doing things, moley, and I have mine). That said, if you want a rematch peeker, I'd be down with that.
Oh, and if you could post your PMs to the M-ds that'd be cool too, as that's more info for us to work with.

And I gotta say that I'm rather suspicious of molefan giving others flak over Santo's role and not accepting it.
The fact that you've accepted it so easily gives me plenty of pause.

More importantly, peekercpa, is there anything attached to your changing role that will have an effect on the game? Can you give some examples of your roles or explain some of the odd statements?
While l appreciate the mods help in the matter (and certainly enjoyed the response), my questions were more talking to myself, or wondering if others were thinking about the same thing. l still don't trust a damn thing anyone says.
Call me paranoid if you like - I'll put it like this: The only think l'll absolutely trust from the mods are the events that happen. Other than that, we don't know about the rules and we don't know if we can trust what's said, even from the gagmods. That doesn't mean I'm assigning no value to what's being said.
Rather than playing as if this were a completely normal game (and being blindsided by gastardy), or playing as if there's no way to proceed, I'm developing rough likelihood of things happening. It changes as new information is revealed, depending on how reliable that information is . Statements by the gagmods get assigned quite a high reliability, but in this game, l won't consider it perfect.
Molefan - l don't know what your criteria were, but l wasn't here for the start of the game either - that explains my 'lurking' at the start.
l also wouldn't necessarily trust Rajaat despite his power - it says little about his alignment, really. Although it is true he shouldn't be on the block today, as his power can be used to help the town.

OK, My Ugly Scum Bits promised a player-by-player analysis, and here it is. Lurkers / quiet or non-prolific players: Klutz, Koldanar, Merestil Haye, CatinaSuit, Pedescribe, Peeker, Hal, Diomedes/Squid, Parzival, Hockeyguy. All of these people I~ find virtually inseparable, although there are one or two points: - Three (Pedescribe, Hal and Hockeyguy) essentially missed the start of the game, and may appear more aggressively in future. - Two (Peeker and Pedescribe) have claimed roles, both of which have been challenged by at least one other player - Peeker's changing role, and Pedescribe's leper. - Klutz played the "lurker" strategy as scum in "Arkham Nights". - Hockeyguy was first out in "Apocalypse", was scum, and may possibly be nervous about speaking out in this game because of it. HockeyGuy blatantly bandwagonned DiggitCamera and then acted fairly defensively when he really didn't need to IMO: "Yeah, My Ugly Scum Bits understand how my vote may be seen as "jumping on the bandwagon", but My Ugly Scum Bits don't see my vote as part of a bandwagon. My Ugly Scum Bits voted because what he said raised flags in my mind, and My Ugly Scum Bits wanted to see if he would say more about what his win condition might be." What do I~ say to this? Nothing, there's no evidence either way (as with most of the "lurkers"). I~ just get red flags raised in my mind when someone makes a defence without really having been attacked. First off, you can call me a lurker if you wish, but when you call me a lurker when I've posted more than you, I'm not going to take it seriously (unless you were calling me one of the quiet players). You can say I missed the start of the game if you wish as well, but I didn't. I posted once or twice in Night Zero, because I had nothing to add then, and it seemed to be all fluff anyway. And I will be more aggressive in the future. Keep in mind that is only my second forum based Mafia game ever, and I was voted for Day 1 in the only other one I played (thanks for the reminder). I'm still getting my feet wet here, so give me a break, please? Not a break in terms of "I'm new so don't suspect me", but a break in terms of "I'm new, so don't expect me to go balls to the wall on Day 1, when I'm still getting used to playing this way." The only other way I've played Mafia involved using IM to talk to people, as well as posting on the board. Its a very different experience, so I need to adjust. Which is why I've been kind of quiet. On to your next point. Call my Diggitcamera vote bandwagoning if you wish. I honestly don't know how many votes were placed on him before I voted. I voted in the middle of catching up on the few hours I was working. I hadn't finished reading up to the end of the thread at that time. I read up to the first couple votes on him, the reasonings of which agreed with why I found him suspicious, so I voted. Later, when he explained himself, I thought it over, and unvoted him. And I was questioned on my vote, which was why I posted my defense. I wasn't questioned directed, but someone made a comment about the influx of votes on Diggticamera, and I responded with my reasoning, like I am now. It may not have been an all out attack on why I voted how I did, but a question was asked, so I responded.

W-o-w.
OK, Bufftabby first. I've read over her posts again and I made one mistake - but only one. I said she was involved with three bandwagons (Pleo and Diggit) and the FCoD situation. Here's some quotes:
First bandwagon: Diggit.
"Gah, Ah gotta be a "me-too" bandwagoneer right about now. Ah am thinking diggit is likely a pfk. Otherwise why would he not understand the objective? "Eliminate all anti-town elements" seems pretty freaking clear to mee. That was obviously not in his pm.
vote DiggitCamara"
You did an about-turn after Diggit had spoken out (and I'd defended him).
FOS: Pleonast.
"Pleo's caught up enough to discuss who got their pm when, but hasn't bothered to read the Dawn post? That says to me that he might already have known what the Dawn post would say. Lest anyone think ah'm smudging Pleo, FoS Pleonast. Ah'm still voting for diggit, because ah think he's a better lynch, and ah'm not convinced of Pleo's scumminess, but ah am suspicious for sure."
In regards to the scummyboots situation: you're right, I misread someone else's post for BTs. No excuses, I made a mistake with that one. So strike it off my case against Bufftabby. The point that convinced me, though, was the FOS against Pleonast. Given that I've made one mistake already, I re-read it and it still comes across, to me, as though Bufftabby's taking advantage of a mistake on Pleonast's part in order to try and get votes on her. So my vote stays for the moment, although given the support for Bufftabby I'm reconsidering.
Parzival - I trust Rajaat's role more than Peek's because I've seen it working. That's not to say that Peek is lying, just that there's solid evidence of Rajaat having searched BlaM's room as he claimed. I also think that Rajaat's actions fit more in with his being town than scum - in particular the resolution of his argument with BlaM. I don't think Rajaat, if he were scum, would have "let it go" as easily as he did then. I also doubt that the mods would give the scum a "public" role, such as Rajaat's; although this being a gastard mod game, I'm not taking it for granted.
Hockeyguy - I thought you were nervous. The question was, was this because you didn't want to give yourself away as scum, or because you were scared of screwing up? I'm still not sure but, as you've seen, I'm not voting for you. My point here is to bring up what I find suspicious - or otherwise - and get people talking. That one worked then!
Darth - I thought from the start, as soon as I saw that Santo's name was in green and the mods declared him the "Obviously innocent townie", that he was town. I didn't think they'd be so gastard as to lie outright to us, and said so. I don't "accept flak" because I NEVER said Santo was a suspect or should be voted. Quite the opposite in fact. Let me quote myself:
"So far I've seen votes applied to Chucky, a mod, and the only confirmed townie that we have. Idle and Parzival, Santo's listed in green on the player list. Seriously, why do we even need to debating this, even in a Gastard great and glorious mod game? My Ugly Scum Bits don't think they would go as far as to outright lie to us (much)."
So yes, in answer to your question I think I'm 100% justified there. If the scum can raise doubts over Santo's being "confirmed" or not, they'll do so. Even if it goes against what was explicitly stated by a mod.

I'm still not sure but, as you've seen, I'm not voting for you. My point here is to bring up what My Ugly Scum Bits find suspicious - or otherwise - and get people talking. That one worked then! I'd hope you would point out if I did anything you found suspicious. Every time someone thinks I did something shady, I'd love to hear about it, so I can, hopefully, shed some light on what I was trying to do. Like you said, it gets people talking, and helps form better judgments on people. As for being nervous, the only thing I have to be nervous about would be being the first one out of the game again. That would really suck.

Or get a formal statement saying they don't wanna play. Molefan- you up? Mr. Scummyboots esq? Atarus Oil? Second time buddy, you wanna step up and try? Kat- you can has game? mhaye?
And of course, any M-ds with the Balls to try to take this sack from me (or fallopian tubes in Dotchan's case), I welcome your efforts!
