I'm not incredibly conversant with the color. MHaye, are you saying that you think Total is Town, and lynching her would be a net benefit for Town? I'll have to be a bit more explicit (Sorry Total). I believe that Total is making a two-part claim; (a) she's got a one-shot kill immunity, and (b) she can't say that. Yesterday, when she joined the Kat lynch wagon, she said in D05.085 that it would "make sense" for her to join the Katwagon. Remember, this was in the context of Kat's claim to be a Crazy Townie who had to kill one of the players voting for her (as it turned out, a false claim). A player with a one-shot kill immunity - a Scotsman, since they are notoriously tough and hardy - could survive the Crazy Townie attack, therefore negating the loss of another Townsperson (avoiding giving the ELE a two-for-one). This is what she meant by saying (in response to you) "If I was to die like this - I would not think it would be anti-town." However, she also referred to having a thing with shoes. She had also hinted that she could lose the powers. These are references back to Days One and Two of Ancient China in which Roosh claimed he had a hatred of Shoes, trying to hint without saying so that he was the Doctor who protected against the Shu faction. Explicitly claiming that role would result in losing the power, on the grounds that the roleholder had grown too proud. I deduce from this that roleclaiming Scotsman would result in the loss of the immunity. Earlier Today, she asserted, when asked if she were a Scotsman Miller, that she was "not a miller". She didn't deny being a Scotsman. If Total survives the lynch, the question of her alignment is not settled; there is precedent for an anti-Town Scotsman (see SSBM). However, if she survives the lynch, either the ELE will have to add her to the kill list (and have to decide whether she's worth the killing) or leave her alive and make us WiFOM over killing her again. Does that clear up what I was trying to say?

Other roles that I thought might be turnable are the Groupies and the Mayor. (We see the Mayor bowing his head to Dr H in the party in the Doctor's lair, I think.) Of course, that might justify having the Mayor be in the ELE anyway. I'm actually curious why you think the Groupies are open for recruitment, especially since one Groupie is already dead. There was no mention of recruitment or possibility of recruitment in my PM at all. I was looking for characters who, in canon, changed alignment. Some (Bad Horse) were bad all the time, some (Penny) were good all the time, and some switched allegiances after "Dr Horrible killed Penny." The Groupies were characters who fell into the latter set (indeed they were the first one I thought of, the Mayor came later). Whether you are recruitable is something I don't know. I'm pointing out that Dr. Horrible isn't the only possibility.

Again a lot of vote switches at the end of the Day, but I think I'm going to add another . Arguments to lynch NAF over TL since I voted: -NAF expendable, TL has a possible town power -NAF much more suspicious (I don't see this as much). So I went looking at the votes from NAF/TL, Day Four is the important one I think (adapted from Pleonast's post D4): Day Four - 15 players Nanook (6) - NAF1138, Paul, MHaye, Total Lost, Kat!, Roosh NAF1138 (3) - Pleonast, Natlaw, NanookMHaye (2) - Pollux, Inner Stickler Kat! (1) - KidVermicious Paul (0) - sinjinNo Vote (2) - storyteller, BillMcFrozen vote / Investigated town. So let's assume Total Lost is scum: Then three scum voted for Nanook, two of them to push him over NAF. Three scum grouped together to incriminate ('look who scum voted to protect') a town NAF seems risky scum play to me, since that would mean NAF is worth four scum voting together to save him (paul, Kat!, TL, NAF). Assuming NAF1138 is scum, we still have three scum voting Nanook to save NAF, four if both TL and NAF are scum. If both NAF and TL are town, then Kat! could have just went with the band wagon for Nanook. But then NAF is vanilla while TL has a power that might be useful. NAF also voted on Inner Stickler Day One 'protecting' Sister Coyote until IS claimed. unvote Total Lost vote NAF1138

This is TERRIBLE logic, Billy boy, it just reeks of taking no responsibility for your vote. Big smelly finger of hate!!! Bill. I thought I smelt something - yes its terrible logic - but it was deliberate to see what the reaction would be. Just didn't get back as early as I had hoped, and see the timer is counting down - and haven't got time to read the reactions before the day ends - bad me

One thought before the end of Day. Just in case.
If there is a Daykill this Day, it follows a no-kill Night. One possibility is that the Daykills might be delayed side-effects of an attempt to Nightkill Pleo. (The timing works for both the previous two Daykills).
Of course, it might not be. I just don't want to wind up dying without floating the issue.
