I'll open the discussion with one opinion.
Let's not do a mass claim and post our role PM's on Day One. We've been through this conversation in many games and I've come to the conclusion(awhile ago, actually) that is it not a good idea. Usually, in my opinion, it reveals a to to the scum who frequently have cover roles.
In fact, in all games I've modded(4), I have provided the scum with cover roles. In Lord of the Rings, it nearly killed Town(who got lucky with some odd happenings and won anyway).

and you are barely past the initiation phase so you better be fracking careful. ... Plankton played in M2. If he's barely past the initiation phase, who isn't? i'd not know that. if he is that much a greybeard i would have never been so freaking nice.

Let's not do a mass claim and post our role PM's on Day One. Christ, yes. The mass claim discussion in Evil Dead II drove me crazy. As a Town power role I couldn't offer any public opinion of whether it was a good idea because I had no idea what a vanilla PM looked like. Posting an opinion of the matter stood a good chance of revealing my ignorance, which would have outed me as a power role. By Day Two I think that we'd deduced that something like 3 players had power roles because of the lengthy mass-claim discussion. A mass claim is exceedingly unlikely to help town and even discussing it can give away power roles, so please, let's for once not do this.

quick question: when you are laying with your honey on a lazy sunday afternoon do you see a bunny or a horsey?[/quote] I don't fantasize about animals when I'm with my wife. Just her. And maybe you, peeker. I think of a little curious monkey....pushing switches on airplanes. ;D

PM received.
And vote Rysto. What do you mean you have no idea what a vanilla PM looked/looks like? In both games sample PMs were posted.

And vote Rysto. What do you mean you have no idea what a vanilla PM looked/looks like? In both games sample PMs were posted. Is that a serious vote? Because a real vanilla PM was not provided in that game. this is all that story provided. There was no indication as to whether vanilla PMs were unique or not, for example. That was the point that tripped up several power roles.

Is that a serious vote? Because a real vanilla PM was not provided in that game. Argghh. No, my real votes will be during the day and will be bold and blue. And yes, you are correct that actual PMs were not provided, only a sample. I guess I need to use smiley faces a little more liberally.

I have received and understood my PM.
So. Long Night. Probably for the best, as I'll be away for most of the weekend visiting relatives in the darkest wilds of North Carolina. In the meanwhile, what shall we talk about?

Actually, I'm glad there's a long night zero. I'll be away from the internetz from late Wed. til late Sun.

I played in the first game (Werewolf), too...but then I took several years off until the recent LOTR game. So while technically my history goes back as far as anyone's here, I still consider myself pretty much of a noob... ...but not so much of a noob as to be afraid of monkey boy over there And I'll kick things off by bidding 2 Hearts

So, on to the important questions: Stuffing - in the bird, or not? The latter will keep you safe from all those nasty bacteria that hang out on and in poultry carcasses. But the former tastes 673 times better. mmmmm...stuffing....
